Chapter Thirty-Five: Qitian Activated!

[WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!]

[Life force detected! This is the horn of a creature that is 63 meters tall! It is about to awaken!]

Upon seeing this, Tu Xiaohei instinctively stood up and shouted towards the building, "Run! This isn't a rock, it's a monster's horn!"

The sound landed.

The strange rock suddenly contracted downwards, and a groove appeared abruptly in the ground.

"brush!"

A white light shot out from the sunken ground.

Then it vanished instantly.

Ren Xiaobai frowned; her intuition as a seasoned Olympic fan told her this was not a good thing.

"Holy crap! What the hell did that idiot do? How come there's an invisible wall?"

An angry voice rang out.

"An invisible wall?"

Although Tu Xiaohei was very confused, he subconsciously dialed Wang Zhuoxi's number.

"The stone at Aseran High School is a monster's horn, and it's awakening now. I can't handle this monster by myself, so I need to come and help."

After saying that, Tu Xiaohei added, "An invisible wall appeared at Aseran High School, and we can't leave!"

After the conversation ended, Tu Xiaohei heard Wang Zhuoxi's cold voice: "Understood, I'm coming right now."

The two hung up the phone almost simultaneously.

"A new monster?"

Ren Xiaobai thought for a long time but still couldn't think of a monster that corresponded to the current situation.

"You should leave too. Even though there's an invisible wall, it's best not to stay here."

Tu Xiaohei turned around and looked at Ren Xiaobai, who was deep in thought.

Unlike him, Ren Xiaobai has no need to take risks.

"cut."

Ren Xiaobai pouted unhappily, but on the surface, he obediently listened and ran away.

"Thump!"

Just as Ren Xiaobai left, two flesh-colored tentacles emerged from the sunken ground.

They instantly rushed towards Tu Xiaohei.

"Have you started taking action yet?"

Tu Xiaohei took out a pistol from his pocket and pulled the trigger.

"Bang!"

The bullet collided with the tentacle, but only produced a few sparks, which briefly hindered the tentacle's movement.

"This is terrible, we don't have enough firepower, we can't win."

Tu Xiaohei took out a black pistol from his military overcoat again.

This weapon can at most serve a disruptive purpose; if it produces even a tiny spark, it's already considered to be highly effective.

"Please... the support from headquarters needs to be faster!"

Tu Xiaohei's hands swayed, and flashes of sparks appeared continuously from the muzzles of the two pistols.

The bullets kept colliding with the tentacles.

Meanwhile, Tu Xiaohei himself was slowly moving backward.

This was his first time fighting a monster.

Thinking you can kill this monster with a pistol is nothing short of wishful thinking.

Even if it's part of a giant monster.

and……

"Crunch."

Finally, the two pistols made that sound almost simultaneously, as if by unspoken agreement.

This foreshadows something.

That means Tu Xiaohei is out of bullets.

Yes, he doesn't have a dimensional pocket, so it's normal that he ran out of bullets.

But in this situation, it could be fatal!

The two tentacles seemed to feel no pressure and instantly accelerated.

"Depend on!"

Tu Xiaohei threw the pistol away.

A pistol without bullets is less useful than a fire poker.

He even took off his cumbersome military overcoat and threw it directly at the tentacles.

The tentacle then swung around and tore Tu Xiaohei's military coat apart.

"Depend on!"

Tu Xiaohei rolled backward.

Having dodged one of the tentacles' attacks, he ran off without looking back.

Without weapons, are you really going to have to fight the monster head-on?

The two tentacles seemed to have chosen Tu Xiaohei as their target, and chased straight towards him.

...

In the base where the morning bell and evening drum resound.

"If only the monster had arrived a little later..."

Zhao Kuangyi shook his head, then looked at the large screen in front of him.

On the big screen, Wang Zhuoxi was wearing a driver's suit.

"Listen up, Wang Zhuoxi, we don't have enough drivers. We can only activate one Qitian. That means if you lose, you're probably doomed."

Zhao Kuangyi's voice entered Wang Zhuoxi's ears through the helmet of his driver's suit.

In response to Zhao Kuangyi, Wang Zhuoxi gave him a thumbs-up.

Then, they walked into the Qitian Mech in the very center.

The cabin door closed, and Wang Zhuoxi sat down in the middle seat without hesitation.

[The driver has entered]

A black chain suddenly appeared behind Wang Zhuoxi.

"Crunch."

The chain was inserted into the groove on the back of Wang Zhuoxi's driving suit.

[Syncing...]

The pipes next to the Qitian mecha fell off one after another, and countless amounts of steam shot out.

"High-end products are just different."

Wang Zhuoxi glanced at the shrunken buildings around him, then looked down at his palm.

A mechanical hand.

His perspective now is basically Qi Tian's perspective.

"The operation is completely unaffected; in fact, it's much easier than before?"

Wang Zhuoxi shrugged, and then Qi Tian shrugged as well.

The delay time is almost negligible.

This is far, far better than the shameful Reebok.

"Buzz!"

Light was scattering from the sky, and Wang Zhuoxi subconsciously looked up.

The passage above has been opened, and Wang Zhuoxi can leave at any time.
