Chapter Ninety-Five: First Arrival at the Borderlands

Using their small size as an advantage, the little guy and the white wolf weaved through the ant colonies. These ants were huge, but not as agile as the little guy, and the two of them dodged the ants' attacks time and time again.

The little guy seized the opportunity to grab a soldier ant's leg and then smash it at the other soldier ants! Countless soldier ants were sent flying!

"Puff puff puff!"

Streams of formic acid sprayed from the rear of the soldier ants' abdomens, and large patches of formic acid fell to the ground, emitting puffs of pungent white smoke. The little guy and the white wolf dodged the formic acid sprayed by the soldier ants without any real danger, while looking for an opportunity to kill them!

The queen ant was trembling with rage as she watched her soldier ants unable to subdue the two invaders! Her enormous body was simply too heavy to move!

"White Wolf, let's kill the queen ant first, then kill these soldier ants!" The little guy sensed something and said to White Wolf.

"Okay!" White Wolf panted heavily, feeling that his body had reached its limit, but he knew that he could not relax at all now. If he was not careful, he would be killed by these soldier ants!

The white wolf and the little guy charged left and right, breaking through the blockade of these soldier ants, and then rushed towards the queen ant!

The queen ant sensed danger and prepared to wriggle her plump body away from the perilous place.

"Quick! The queen ant is trying to escape!" The little guy saw the queen ant wriggling rapidly to leave, then yelled and charged forward like a rocket, ignoring the attacks from the surrounding soldier ants!

Countless soldier ants were overthrown by the little guy who had entered berserk mode! The white wolf followed closely behind its master, and went to finish off any soldier ants that its master had crippled!

The queen ant sensed danger approaching and hurriedly began calling for her soldier ants to come to her rescue. Countless soldier ants surged towards the little guy and the white wolf! The little guy and the white wolf ran wildly towards the ants...

"Master...I can't go on!"

"White Wolf, you must hold on!"

"Master...I really can't go on!"

"Don't talk nonsense! We can definitely do it!"

"Master, I really can't drink anymore!"

White Wolf patted his round belly, feeling that if he took another sip, his stomach would explode!

"What should we do? There are still so many! Isn't that such a waste? Wasting is very shameful!" The little guy said, looking at the queen ant's body in front of him with a bitter face.

"I don't want to either! But there's so much that the two of us can't possibly finish it!" White Wolf looked at the contents with a bitter expression. At first, it seemed alright, but now just looking at it made him want to vomit!

"Hehe, I've got an idea!" The little guy suddenly remembered something and started rummaging through his leather bag.

"Look!" The little guy took the wooden carving out of his leather bag and waved it in his hand.

"Master, you... why did you take this thing out?" The white wolf asked, trembling as it looked at the wooden carving in its master's hand.

"I don't think we can finish it, but it should be able to!" After saying that, the little guy threw the wooden carving directly into the queen ant's body.

At first, the wooden carving was floating inside the queen ant's body, but then it suddenly sensed something and began to rapidly absorb the contents of the queen ant's body.

"Master, where did you get this wooden carving? It feels so strange!" The white wolf watched as the small wooden carving frantically absorbed the essence within the queen ant's body, forming a vortex inside her. He swallowed hard and asked.

"This is a statue of my mother. My mother and father have disappeared. This is the last thing my mother left me!" The little guy said with a complicated expression as he looked at the life force that was about to be drained from the queen ant's corpse.

"Oh! I thought it was one of your most powerful magical artifacts, but it turns out it's your mother's statue," the white wolf said with a relieved expression.

In less than fifteen minutes,

The queen ant, as big as a house, was sucked dry by this wooden sculpture, leaving only a skin! The sculpture now looks like it's coming to life, even more realistic!

"Master, will this statue of your mother come to life?" The white wolf looked at the wooden sculpture with great fear; the sculpture was giving him an increasingly dangerous feeling!

"Are you out of your mind because of your excess energy? A wooden carving is just a wooden carving, how could it possibly come to life? What are you thinking?" The little guy looked at the white wolf as if he were looking at an idiot.

"But I feel like it's coming to life!" White Wolf insisted on his opinion.

"Really? I didn't feel anything." The little guy held the wooden carving in his hands and examined it carefully, feeling that there seemed to be no change!

Just as the little guy was carefully examining it, the once very lifelike wood carving suddenly lost its previous spirit and returned to its original state.

The little guy and the white wolf completely destroyed the anthill, leaving not a single ant alive! Except for those that were out foraging and hadn't returned, not a single ant inside the anthill escaped!

If the little guy hadn't killed the fleeing queen ant, he and the white wolf would have been locked in a long battle with these soldier ants. With the queen dead, the soldier ants were thrown into chaos, and the little guy and the white wolf were able to take the opportunity to wipe them all out.

The little guy and the white wolf found the scattered remains of the wolf inside. The white wolf pieced the remains together, and although many "parts" were missing, they used the queen ant's skin as a coffin and buried the wolf there...

The little guy and the white wolf, both with protruding bellies, staggered out of the anthill. The white wolf felt incredibly light, as if a gust of wind could carry him to the sky.

After absorbing the queen ant's essence, the little guy felt very light. He felt like there was something he needed to do, but he didn't know what to do. It was as if something mysterious was swirling in his mind, but he just couldn't figure it out.

Like a fish in the water, it sneaks up and peeks out a little bit, and just when you're about to look, it suddenly disappears into your hand and never comes up again! This feeling drives the little guy a bit crazy, yet he's helpless!

"It seems some of our companions have survived, just in different places than us. We shouldn't give up; maybe our companions are still waiting for us to rescue them!" the little guy said.

"Yes! So we must continue searching for companions!" White Wolf said with a determined look.

Having left the anthill, the man and the wolf began a new journey...

"Wake up, wake up, stop sleeping! I've never seen such a lazy and stupid creature before!" Just as the little guy was sleeping, a voice suddenly rang in his ear.

"Don't bother me!" the little guy said irritably.

"Don't want to bother you, huh? Hehe, I'm going to bother you anyway!" The voice chuckled, and it felt like a feather was brushing against the soles of the little guy's feet.

"Hehehe... Hahaha... When are you ever going to stop? Hahaha... Hehehe... I can't take it anymore, let me go right now, hahaha... or I'll get rough with you, hahaha... I'm so sad!"

The little guy was laughing loudly, but he couldn't move. It felt like his whole body was bound. The ticklish sensation on the soles of his feet made him laugh until he was exhausted, but he couldn't move and let two feathers sweep around the soles of his feet.

"Master, what kind of wonderful dream are you having? Why are you laughing so happily?" The white wolf was awakened by the little guy's laughter. Looking at the little guy with his eyes closed, laughing heartily with a pained expression, the white wolf said with some envy.

"Screw your sweet dream! I'm having sleep paralysis! This is a nightmare, okay? Hurry up and save me!" The little guy was screaming in his mind, but he didn't make a sound.

"Master, what's wrong with you?" The white wolf also noticed that something seemed wrong with its master, and then began to shake its master.

"Stop shaking me! Shaking won't help! Get that thing off me right now!" the little guy yelled hoarsely, but he couldn't make a sound at all.

Seeing his master in great pain, the white wolf was at a loss, not knowing how to wake his master up!

"Hehe, like master, like servant. I'll tell you a way to get rid of me and wake up immediately!" the voice chuckled and said.

"Let me go if you dare, and fight me one-on-one! I'll beat the crap out of you!" the little guy yelled as he struggled.

"Want to fight me one-on-one? You think you can fight me in your current state? Get up from here first, or you'll sleep here forever and never wake up!" The voice threatened the little guy.

"What kind of skill is it to launch a sneak attack? If you're so capable, fight me with real swords and spears!" the little guy said defiantly.

"Whether it's a sneak attack or a real fight, you're pinned down by me now, aren't you? Hehe..." the voice said shamelessly.

"Ugh! I'm so angry, hahaha... hahaha... stop tickling the soles of my feet, I can't take it anymore, hahaha..."! The little guy is in great pain, but all he can do is laugh it off!

"I'll put a little more pressure on you so you die faster, so I don't waste my time!" the voice said with a hint of disdain.

Suddenly, the little guy felt as if countless mountains were pressing down on him, as if they were going to flatten him into a pancake!

"Ah..."! The little guy roared in great unwillingness, gathering all his strength, wanting to break free from what bound him and overturn the countless mountains that were slowly pressing down on him!

"Stop your futile resistance! You have no ability to break free from the restraints I've placed upon you. Stop struggling in vain and just obediently await your death!" the voice said slowly.

"I'm going to kill you! I'll cut you into a thousand pieces! I'll drink your blood, skin you, and grind your bones! Get out of my way!" The little guy tried his best to break free with all his strength, and his body began to rapidly absorb the surrounding spiritual energy to replenish the spiritual energy that was being rapidly consumed in his body.

The white wolf watched helplessly as its master suffered greatly. It had no idea where the enemy was or how to help its master escape his pain. It could only stand by and watch its master helplessly.

The white wolf tried many times, grasping its master's hand, preparing to enter its master's nightmare, but it couldn't get in at all! Before it could even make contact, an extremely terrifying pressure almost crushed its entire body! It dared not risk its life again.

"Hmm? Why is the wind picking up? And it's getting stronger!" The white wolf was puzzled. How could the wind suddenly pick up? It shouldn't be like this. When it saw its master's body frantically absorbing the surrounding spiritual energy, it realized where the wind came from!

The white wolf saw that a vortex had formed around its master! The extremely dense spiritual energy from all directions was being drawn in, forming a vortex, and its master was in the middle of the vortex.

"Hiss!" The white wolf watched as the vortex created by its master grew larger and larger, absorbing spiritual energy at an increasingly faster speed, until it slowly formed a tornado!

The little guy is in great pain right now. He's at the brink of life and death, and he doesn't know how many mountains are pressing down on him, but he's still fighting back!

I cannot afford to lose. If I lose, I will be doomed and die without a burial place! I must live, I must break free from these shackles that bind me and the mountains that weigh me down. I must survive!

A series of booming sounds emanated from the little guy's entire body! His flesh, limbs, bones, and meridians were all rapidly strengthening! His entire body was undergoing a continuous transformation!

With a soft "bang" sound!

The little guy felt the restraints on his body suddenly loosen! This finally gave him hope; every cell in his body became more active, filled with strength and hope! He was determined to overcome the difficulties! He was determined to defeat this despicable attacker!

"Boom boom boom!"

The little guy broke free from the several restraints binding him in an instant, advancing with unstoppable momentum! His aura grew stronger and stronger! However, the mountain-like suppression pressing down on him was terrifying!

Although he had broken free from the strange shackles binding him, the mountain-like pressure weighing him down was slowly increasing!

The little guy gritted his teeth. As long as he could break free from the restraints and move his arms and legs freely, he was confident that he could overturn the mountain-like pressure that was pressing down on him!

White Wolf looked at the terrifying tornado a hundred meters away with mixed feelings. Even from this distance, he could feel his spiritual energy rapidly drifting into the tornado, let alone when he was near it!

All the creatures nearby had been frightened away by the tornado. Those who moved quickly survived, but those who moved slowly, or those who tried to provoke the tornado, were sucked into mincemeat in less than a few breaths! Then they were swept into the sky by the tornado...

"My strength isn't enough! I need to get stronger!" The little guy gritted his teeth, the mountain-like pressure on his body still building up! But his strength was also increasing, yet he still couldn't overcome the pressure pressing down on him!

The little guy's entire body began to glow red-hot, almost boiling, with the potential of every single cell being unleashed! The little guy was now like a little sun! His whole body radiated a dazzling light!

"Open it for me!"

The little guy let out a loud roar! He grabbed the massive, mountain-like weight pressing down on him with both hands! Then, with great difficulty and slowness, he lifted himself up, raised him above his head, and then threw him out with a vengeance!

With a "buzzing" sound.

The little guy's suppressed aura was suddenly unleashed! His power, no longer suppressed, was released all at once!

Everything within a radius of dozens of miles was torn up! Not a blade of grass grew! The once lush and verdant land was suddenly transformed into a scene of devastation, riddled with ravines and gullies!

Everything calmed down, and the little guy lay quietly in the soil, his eyes closed, as if he were asleep...

"Ru Huan? Who is Ru Huan?"

Countless fragments flashed through the little guy's mind: a very familiar small mountain village, a very scoundrel father, a miserable mother, a strict but kind master, a mischievous junior brother, Shuofeng City, the battlefield of the gods, the mortal world, Langcheng Zhaixing Tower, the Gods' Demise Plain, and then he was sent to a place, put into a container, and then thrown into a river full of corpses.

In order to leave the river, he hid on the corpses that the two corpse retrievers were sitting on, left the river, made a deal with the two corpse retrievers, and then followed the corpse that had been turned into a boat to the Reincarnation Pool.

Vast expanses of crimson, I walked through this crimson expanse and came to the Reincarnation Pool. I jumped in, but my vessel was left in that sea of crimson flowers...

Then I came to another world. My father was missing, my mother didn't like me, and everyone in the village treated me like a monster. Then I saw the heavenly tribulation, picked up the wooden carving, entered the cold pool, and came here...

The little guy's mind was racing through memories of the past, and he felt his head was in a mess, very dizzy, and the world was spinning. He felt like his head was about to explode!

"ah"!

The little guy suddenly opened his eyes, sat up abruptly, looked around in terror, and gasped for breath.

"Master? You're finally awake!"

The little guy looked at a white wolf not far away. The white wolf seemed very happy to see him wake up and quickly came to his side.

"White Wolf"?

"Yes, what's wrong, Master?"

The white wolf noticed that its master's gaze was very unfamiliar, and its heart skipped a beat. Could it be that its master had been possessed by some evil spirit?

"Master, are you alright?" the white wolf asked cautiously, looking at the little guy with a tentative expression.

"It's nothing! I'm just a little dizzy!" the little guy said, rubbing his temples.

"Hehe, it's good that you're alright, it's good that you're alright!" The white wolf looked at its master and felt that its master was even stronger than before. Standing next to it now, it could feel a kind of power that made people feel awe!

"Let's go, let's leave this place!" The little guy suppressed his aura and became no different from before.

The little guy sat on the white wolf's back, then left the place and walked away into the distance...

"Master, there seems to be a village ahead!" the white wolf said, looking at the wall built of huge, thick logs in the distance.

"Let's go! Let's take a look!" The little guy sat on the white wolf's back and walked towards the wall that was more than ten meters high...

"Master, look what's hanging up there?" The white wolf looked at the wall, which was more than ten meters high, with a face full of grief and indignation. It was covered with all kinds of creatures' heads, including tiger heads, bear heads, wolf heads, leopard heads, snake heads, eagle heads, monkey heads... and even human heads hanging on it!

"Xiong Xixi! Flower Wolf! Evil Wolf!" The little guy looked at the heads hanging above, swarms of flies buzzing around them, but he still managed to spot the heads of his companions! Several heads of the mother wolf who had been with him were also hanging there.

"Master, I'll go and take them down!" The white wolf looked at all his former companions hanging there, and felt a pang of grief. He prepared to take their heads off and find a place to give them a proper burial.

"Go!" The little guy jumped off the white wolf, then looked at the wall that was more than ten meters high and fell into deep thought.

With a single leap, the white wolf arrived at the foot of the wall, then lightly jumped onto it, heading towards Xiong Xixi's head.

With a "buzz," the green-headed flies that had been crawling on Xiong Xixi's head were startled and scattered like a black cloud, hovering not far away, glaring angrily at the uninvited guest who had disturbed their wonderful meal!

The white wolf ignored the fist-sized green-headed flies, grabbed the wooden splinter embedded in Xiong Xixi's head, jumped down from the wall, gently placed it below, and then leaped towards the flower wolf's head...

Just as the white wolf was about to leave after taking the heads of several of his companions, he suddenly felt as if he was being watched by something. Before he could react, an arrow flew over the wall and shot toward his head!

With his companion's head in his hand, the white wolf had no chance to dodge the rapidly approaching arrow. Just when the white wolf thought he was going to die, he felt a gentle breeze pass by and the arrow was firmly caught in his hand!

"Who are you? How dare you steal our spoils!" Suddenly, countless humans appeared on the wall, and one of them shouted at the little guy and his companions.

"Is this your spoils of war?" White Wolf asked angrily, his eyes red as he looked at the humans on the wall.

"Oh dear, I didn't expect there to be a talking wolf here! Don't kill it this time, we need to capture it alive. Quickly open the city gates for me, we need to catch that wolf demon down below!"

The people on the wall were very excited to discover that the white wolf could speak human language, and they prepared to come out and hunt it!

"You take care of these first, and I'll handle the rest!" the little guy said to the white wolf.

The white wolf looked at its master with great gratitude, then slowly wiped its companions' heads clean, and carefully wrapped each head with animal hide...

"Is this white wolf yours? How much? I'll buy it!" The city gates opened, and a group of people riding all sorts of ferocious beasts came out.

The speaker was a boy who looked to be only fourteen or fifteen years old. He was wearing light armor and looked at the little guy standing in front of him with great arrogance.

"Did you kill all these creatures?" the little guy asked.

"How about that? Impressive, right? Hehe, I killed most of the creatures hanging up there! Don't worship me, but if you want to be my underling, I might reluctantly consider it!" The young man riding a white tiger said with a proud look on his face.

"Why did you kill them?" The little guy's face was very gloomy.

"Why? No reason? I just want to kill, so I kill. It's like you're walking down the street and suddenly see an ant or something else, and you naturally step on it and kill it. Do you need any reason for that?" the boy said.

"And what about them? Why did you kill them?" the little guy asked, pointing to the rows of heads behind him.

"You mean them? I kindly invited them to stay as guests, and then to become my and my subordinates' mounts. They were all ungrateful, unwilling to leave. I fed and clothed them well, yet they showed no gratitude, wanting to leave to find their so-called master. I was furious and prepared to lock them up. But these ungrateful bastards killed several of my men and tried to escape. Since I can't keep them alive, I'll keep the dead!" the young man said with a smile.

"They are my little brothers!" the little guy said coldly, looking at the boy.

"Huh? They're your underlings? Hahaha... So what? I've already killed them all. Don't you still have one? You can sell this one to me. I'll give you some money to buy a mount that's even more powerful than your underlings. What do you say?" the boy asked.

"Hehe... Hahaha..." The little guy burst into laughter after hearing what the boy said.

"What are you laughing at? You little brat, so small and weak, aren't you afraid your little brother will suddenly eat you up one day?" the boy said angrily, looking at the little brat who wasn't even half his height and mocking him.

"How did you kill them?" the little guy asked.

"How to kill? Of course, with my arrows and my knife! You think someone like you, so poor you don't even have an iron knife, is a江湖 (jianghu, a term referring to the martial arts world) person, and you even have followers? That's really shameful!" The young man grinned maliciously.

"If I take the head from your neck and use it to sacrifice to my companions, you won't mind, will you?"

"Why should I mind? As long as you have the ability to take it, I can give it to you!" the boy said, patting his head.

"I'm taking your head!" the little guy said, and then suddenly vanished from the spot!

"roar"!

The white tiger beneath the boy suddenly sensed danger, let out a roar, and its entire body emitted a white light! Countless weapons of all kinds were faintly hidden within the light!

"What's all the fuss about? He's just a wild kid. Is it really necessary to make such a big deal out of him?" The boy looked at his mount activating its strongest form with a dismissive expression, feeling that it was making a mountain out of a molehill.

A muffled thud!

The light emanating from the white tiger's entire body couldn't stop the little guy's fist at all! The white tiger let out a mournful howl, and in order to protect its master, it was smashed to pieces on the spot!

"It seems I underestimated you. What a pity for my white tiger, which has been with me since it was a cub, only to die in this godforsaken place! Congratulations, you have thoroughly enraged me!" The boy hovered in mid-air, his previous composure and calm gone.

The people riding wild beasts below surrounded the little guy!

The beasts growled, and the weapons in the hands of these men gleamed with a sinister light! The little guy stood motionless in the middle, while his underlings prepared to attack on their mounts. But suddenly, all the beasts lay down on the ground, not daring to take another step forward!

"Useless things! I'll stew you all after I kill this brat!" The boy was furious at the sight of the beasts. The beasts trembled upon hearing this, but they still dared not stand up and remained lying on the ground, shivering.

"Kill him!" the boy ordered his underlings.

These thugs, brandishing their weapons, lunged menacingly at the little guy!

Before, the little guy could never grasp, understand, or hold onto that mysterious and vague opportunity! But ever since he experienced sleep paralysis, he suddenly seized that mysterious opportunity. He had been studying this mysterious thing all along, and he actually managed to understand a little bit about it!

The little guy looked at the underlings rushing towards him from all directions, but he wasn't panicked or afraid at all. He even closed his eyes!

"What is he doing? Does he know he can't beat us and is just closing his eyes and waiting to die?" The underlings were taken aback by the little guy's behavior and felt very strange.

"No matter what tricks you play, our boss wants you dead. Even if the heavens come, they can't save you!" The henchmen thought to themselves, their weapons whistling as they slashed at the little guy's head and various parts of his body!

"Huh? What's going on? Why is my knife suddenly rusty? And why do I feel a little out of breath?"

"What's wrong with me? I suddenly feel weak, and the sword in my hand feels so heavy that I can hardly lift it!"

"My hands! Why do my hands have so many wrinkles? How did I suddenly get so old!"

"Ah! I can't breathe, I'm suffocating!"

The boy's underlings screamed in utter despair as they watched in horror as they aged rapidly, their skin turning white and their hair turning gray, until they collapsed to the ground, emaciated and dying in terror!

"What are you? Are you a monster?" The boy watched as his underlings approached the wild boy, and within ten breaths, they all turned into white-haired old men, and then all died of old age right there!

"Hehe, what do you think?" The little guy looked at the boy suspended in the air with a sinister grin.

"Even if you say you're a monster, I'm not afraid of you!" After saying that, the boy began to rapidly form hand seals! It seemed he was preparing some powerful attack!

The little guy lightly tapped his feet and flew into the sky, standing at the same height as the boy. The boy hadn't finished forming the seal yet, and he felt his life rapidly slipping away.

A teenager who was only a teenager suddenly becomes a young adult, then an adult, then an old person, and then has white hair.

His once vibrant body quickly shriveled up, transforming into the appearance of someone in their twilight years!

"What did you do to me? Change me back right now, or my father won't forgive you! Change me back now!" The boy—oh! He should be called an old man now—looked at the wild boy with a face full of terror, staggering as he tried to grab the little guy, but suddenly his body felt light! He fell from mid-air...

"Master, you're so amazing now!" The white wolf looked around at the old corpses everywhere and felt great admiration for them. He had also suffered a lot at the beginning.

At that moment, the master was sitting on his back when he suddenly seemed to fall asleep. He felt his life rapidly slipping away, which startled the white wolf so much that it let out a strange howl, waking his young master up!

His master seemed very pleased to see his body aging so much in an instant. He then told him that from now on, no matter what happened, he should not be alarmed and should not disturb his enlightenment.

The white wolf himself did not know what the Dao his master was talking about was. Since his master told him not to disturb him, then he could not disturb him!

And so, the white wolf lived in constant fear. Whenever its master looked drowsy, its heart would leap into its throat, for its life was about to take a dramatic turn for the worse!

The white wolf, carrying its master, suddenly felt its life rapidly slipping away. It transformed from its current youthful form into an old wolf that was almost unable to walk. Just as it was on the verge of death, waiting for its great-grandmother to come and take it away, a sudden surge of life force appeared within its body, pulling it back from the brink of death and transforming it back into its youthful form.

The most outrageous thing was that one day, I suddenly transformed from a young adult into my cub. Luckily, my master was agile, otherwise I would have been crushed to death by my master.

Finally, he prayed to his master to restore him to his former peak when he was young. After the initial ups and downs of his appearance, which was sometimes old and sometimes young, the white wolf gradually became more stable. He stopped changing, but the flowers, grass, trees and vegetation around him that he passed by changed from lush and green to withered and yellow, and then from withered and yellow to lush and green again...

While lamenting, the white wolf found a propitious burial site for his companions, buried them himself, and then sacrificed the man who had grown from a boy to an old man and all his underlings to his flower wolves...

"Where did this monster come from! How dare you kill someone in the Nalan family's remote hunting grounds! Prepare to die!"

A person floated down from the wall and, without saying a word, thrust his sword at the little guy!

Without a second thought, the little guy grabbed the sword that was thrust at him! With a gentle pull, the person wielding the sword stumbled, and the sword was knocked from their hand!

The little guy held the sword blade in his hand, feeling very curious. He had never seen anything like it before. The weapons he had seen were either wooden sticks or stones. He had never seen such a cold weapon that was much harder than stone or wooden sticks.

The little guy looked at the blood on his palm and saw that the weapon had cut several deep wounds that exposed the bone, from which blood gushed out.

The human stared in horror at the child who looked only three or four years old. He hadn't expected her to have such strength; he had almost been torn over! Watching the child's sword wound heal at a speed visible to the naked eye, until it was completely healed, a wave of fear washed over him. He knew he was in grave danger!

The little guy gripped the sword hilt and twirled it a few times. Suddenly, a tiny figure just like himself appeared in his mind, also holding a sword and waving it around in his head!

The little guy took the sword and then, without thinking, started dancing along with the little figure in his mind!

The man's eyes were filled with excitement as he watched the little boy in front of him take his iron sword and begin to wield it. The little boy's swordsmanship was something he had never seen before, and it looked incredibly profound!

Even after the little guy had finished his dance, the man was still so engrossed in the child's swordsmanship that he was completely stunned and hadn't come to his senses!

"I'll take this weapon, you can go now!" The little guy really liked the iron sword; it felt much more comfortable to use than those wooden sticks and stones.

"You... what kind of sword technique were you just practicing?" The man finally pulled the little guy out of his daze, then swallowed hard and asked.

"Want to learn? I can teach you!" the little guy said, gently waving the iron sword in his hand.

"This... really?" The man looked at the little guy in disbelief, not expecting him to be so generous as to teach him his swordsmanship.

"Sure, if you want to learn, I'll teach you!" the little guy said, looking at the man.

The little guy could tell from the middle-aged man that he was a sword fanatic, but he didn't seem to have any talent for swordsmanship. However, the little guy could tell from the man's eyes that he was genuinely willing to learn.

"Master, please accept my bow!" The middle-aged man knelt on the ground with great joy and began to acknowledge the little guy as his master!

Just as the middle-aged man was about to stand up and walk towards the little one, an arrow suddenly shot down from the wall! It pierced through the middle-aged man's chest!

The middle-aged man paused, then looked at the arrow stained with his own blood on his chest. He staggered around and looked at the person shooting arrows at him from the wall.

"Hmph! Trash is trash. He can't even beat a child, yet he wants to become an apprentice and betray the Nalan family. He deserves to die!" The man in light armor on the wall sneered.

"Master, it seems I won't be able to learn from you, hehe... It's a pity I couldn't have met you sooner!" After saying this, the middle-aged man collapsed to the ground, lifeless, his face filled with helplessness and regret as he died.

"Whoosh!"

Another arrow, accompanied by the sound of it piercing the air, shot towards the little guy. The little guy, seeing the large arrow approaching in an instant, did not panic or dodge at all...
