Chapter Fifty-Four: Obtaining Pisces

Zhaixinglou (Star-Picking Tower)

The third layer of the world!

Countless, all kinds of laws rushed towards Ru Huan, trying to envelop her and become a line of laws within her!

However, before these lines of law could even get close to Ru Huan, they were directly shattered by the spiritual energy emanating from Ru Huan, turning into countless halos of law light that looked like the divine radiance emanating from Ru Huan.

These lines of law relentlessly pursued Ru Huan, as if they wouldn't give up until they had completely enveloped her like a cocoon.

Ru Huan is like a divine fire, and these lines of law are like a storm; this divine fire must be extinguished! Assimilate!

As Ru Huan walked forward, she looked around at the countless beings enveloped by layers of law lines, feeling that this third layer of the world was like a place for these beings to cultivate.

The deeper you go, the denser the lines of law become, until they are so dense that not even a person can pass through!

However, wherever Ru Huan passed, these lines of law were like spider webs encountering flames, breaking at the slightest touch! After Ru Huan passed, they restored themselves...

Ru Huan is now like a lone boat, drifting in this vast ocean composed of lines of law...

"Alright, the matter is resolved. We can return to Langcheng now," Lixia said, sitting on the lynx's back and looking at Amumuzhen, who had already dealt with the aliens.

None of the strange people who entered Langcheng were able to escape; they were all left behind in Langcheng by the hyenas, and a large number of them knelt down in the Death Square...

"Hmm!" Ru Huan suddenly looked in one direction as if she had a premonition, but a law line several times thicker than these law lines had already silently appeared more than ten meters behind her, ready to seize the opportunity and wrap around the intruder's neck!

Not far in front of Ru Huan, an invisible net woven from law lines was already enveloping her!

"Hmph!" Ru Huan snorted coldly, and the net was already torn to shreds before it even reached her!

The net in front is just a decoy; the thick line of law behind it is the real killer move!

While Ru Huan was dealing with the law net in front, the law line as thick as an arm suddenly shot out from behind with lightning speed, aiming straight for Ru Huan's neck!

"Boom boom boom..." Deafening, thunderous sounds rang out continuously! Before that arm-thick line of law could even touch Ru Huan, it exploded as if a ladle of cold water had been poured into a boiling oil pan, failing to achieve the effect of a fatal blow!

Ru Huan had sensed the arm-thick line of law behind her long ago, but she ignored it completely because these lines of law were too weak and posed no threat to her at all.

As Ru Huan's collision with these law lines intensified, these law lines also began to grow thicker! What started as thin as silkworm silk had now become diameters that required seven or eight adults holding hands to encircle, crisscrossing and blocking Ru Huan's way!

With a soft hum, a pair of dazzling wings unfurled from beneath Ru Huan's ribs!

Its wings, radiating divine light, fluttered gently, cutting through the dense, crisscrossing lines of law that resembled an impenetrable wall, and then continued its unstoppable exploration into the deepest part of this third world...

"You're back, Muzhen, are you alright?" Shangguan Qiangwei looked at Lixia and Amumuzhen returning to Langcheng unharmed, and the weight in her heart finally lifted.

"It's nothing, I've already avenged Brother Langjian!" Amumu Zhen said.

"Yes, from now on you will be the CEO of our Shangguan Group! I'm entrusting Shangguan Shadow to you to manage and protect our Shangguan Group! If anyone dares to bully us again, we'll fight back fiercely!" Shangguan Qiangwei said angrily. She didn't expect these superhumans to be so arrogant, daring to cause trouble in Langcheng and even kill one of her trusted confidants.

A single punch can ward off a hundred! It seems the words of our ancient ancestor are still very true! Blindly tolerating others will not bring equal treatment; it will only embolden those with ulterior motives to bully and trample on us even more recklessly!

Only when you are strong yourself can you truly subdue them, no matter what kind of deity or monster they are. Beat them until they are hurt, scared, subdued, or crippled! Only then will they be obedient and subservient to you.

Ru Huan is now like a blazing sun in the darkness! Shining on this third layer of the world! Countless mountain-like lines of law encountered the intense light released by Ru Huan, just like ice encountering the summer sun, and then began to melt rapidly and disappear...

"Dong!" A very loud bell rang out! An ancient and enormous bell woven from threads of law! The entire bell was flashing with dense runes and laws! Then it crashed fiercely towards Ru Huan!

Ru Huan, whose body was as large as a giant sun, was not afraid of this extremely oppressive giant bell at all! With just a casual lift of her hand, this majestic and ancient giant bell immediately crumbled and was directly smashed apart by Ru Huan!

After the giant bell shattered, these lines of law began to rapidly weave together all sorts of weapons: sharp blades that could pierce through space, giant swords that could cleave through time, giant spears that could pierce through the world, and arrows that were everywhere and impossible to defend against...

However, these seemingly terrifying weapons were no match for Ru Huan. They were all easily shattered. These weapons woven from law lines couldn't even get within a hundred meters of Ru Huan before they were all dispersed!

"Moo..."! A divine rhinoceros appeared, its eyes, as bright as the sun and moon, opening and closing. Its two nebulae circled above its head, and then its four hooves flew! It rode on a divine rainbow towards Ru Huan!

Ru Huan stretched out a single finger and easily held back the ancient giant rhinoceros! Then she directly severed the rhinoceros's head!

The divine rhinoceros let out a howl, as if thanking Ru Huan for freeing it. It had been enslaved here for so many years, and was finally released, only to be instantly killed by a very powerful opponent! Although its soul and body were destroyed in this moment, it was completely freed and would never again be trapped in this dark and sunless world, suffering endless torment...

The fall of the Divine Rhinoceros was just the beginning. Countless ferocious beasts woven from the threads of law attacked Ru Huan from all directions. These giant beasts had burning eyes and great spirit. They looked at Ru Huan as if she were their former mortal enemy, and they used their trump cards to fight with all their might!

The endless roars and countless beast heads were cleaved off by Ru Huan's powerful blade! Like stars falling downwards...

But these behemoths continued to attack Ru Huan relentlessly! Some spewed out world-destroying flames, some unleashed wind blades that pierced through space, and some directly used their strength to break through all laws, looking down from above, wanting to crush Ru Huan into mincemeat with one foot...

However, these extremely ferocious beasts couldn't even get within a hundred meters of Ru Huan; they were all cut down by Ru Huan's divine radiance and powerful blades!

"Chirp!" A sky-swallowing hawk appeared, its giant beak, which occupied half of the third layer of the world, opened its mouth and swallowed Ru Huan in one gulp!

The three layers of the world suddenly returned to darkness, and countless lines of law began to spread again throughout all the spaces of these three layers!

"Chirp!" The Devouring Hawk began to concentrate on refining Ru Huan inside its belly, wanting to take Ru Huan's strength for its own use.

Inside the Devouring Hawk's belly, Ru Huan was enveloped by countless layers of laws, making her look like a fish caught in a net!

"snort"!

Ru Huan let out a cold snort, and her entire body suddenly burst into flames that stretched for thousands of feet! These flames were many times more powerful than the dark fire spewed by those giant beasts!

The Devouring Hawk, which had been feeling smug, thought the invader was all bark and no bite. It figured no matter how powerful, it would just be swallowed whole and become its provisions. But then it suddenly felt a burning sensation in its stomach, like it had just eaten the famous Sichuan herb, the Heavenly Pepper, and felt a searing pain.

Before the Sky-Devouring Hawk could even resist, it was already nine-tenths cooked by the heat inside its own belly, and its entire body of scales and feathers were burned red. Now the Sky-Devouring Hawk was like a phoenix reborn from the ashes!

The Sky-Devouring Hawk was burned to ashes. Only after emerging from its belly did Ru Huan realize that the threads of law, created when the hawk swallowed her, had formed a giant cocoon! This cocoon had enveloped both her and the hawk. Now, having emerged from the hawk's belly, she was trapped within this cocoon, with countless threads of law coiling around her, trying to wear her down to death inside!

Ru Huan remained calm, and the flames around her intensified, igniting all the law threads that tried to bind her!

In an instant!

The dense, layered lines of law were instantly ignited, then spread towards the other end of the lines! Countless lines of law began to retreat rapidly, but their retreat speed was nowhere near the speed of the flames on their bodies! Countless cocoons wrapped in the lines of law began to burn...

Ru Huan used herself as a spark, instantly turning this ocean of laws in the three-layered world into a sea of fire!

Countless creatures trapped in their cocoons were freed, but they too could not escape the raging fire that spread like wildfire, and were all burned to ashes...

Ru Huan walked through the flames in these three worlds, searching for the end of this world. Finding the end would mean controlling this world!

"Thump thump," a thunderous heartbeat suddenly resounded throughout the entire third layer of the world! With a thought, Ru Huan vanished from her spot and appeared in another world...

Is this the very center of the three-layered world? Ru Huan looked at the scene before her, feeling somewhat incredulous!

A heart woven from countless lines of law, resembling a star, appeared before Ru Huan. This heart was still beating incessantly, contracting and then expanding, with streams of mysterious spiritual energy flowing out from it and then being transported to various parts of the three layers of the world through the coronary arteries woven from the lines of law…

As Ru Huan slowly approached the heart, the heart sensed the impending danger and began to beat faster. The powerful beat unleashed bursts of energy like a starburst, hurtling towards Ru Huan!

Ru Huan passed through the shockwave and plunged headfirst into the heart of this star-like being...

When Ru Huan arrived inside the heart, she discovered that there wasn't a single line of law within it. The heart was divided into two worlds, black and white, like a yin-yang symbol, slowly rotating inside...

Ru Huan hovered in mid-air without going down, observing the Tai Chi diagram from above. Ru Huan slowly discovered that there were two fish inside the Tai Chi diagram in the heart!

A jet-black fish swims at the front of the yang side of the yin symbol, while a pure white fish swims at the front of the yin side on the other side.

The tai chi symbol inside this heart looks like it's being driven by these two fish. These two fish, one black and one white, are the driving force of the entire three-layered world. As long as these two fish are pulled out, the three-layered world will basically be broken, Ru Huan thought to herself.

Ru Huan was suspended in mid-air, then stretched out her hands and began to catch the two fish. Just as Ru Huan touched the Tai Chi diagram, a terrifying rebound force suddenly pushed Ru Huan's hands away!

It's only someone like Ru Huan who would be affected. If ordinary superhumans came here and were flicked by this Tai Chi diagram, their entire bodies would be scattered! They wouldn't have any chance of reviving!

Ru Huan tested it out and found that the Tai Chi diagram was indeed not simple, but she had plenty of methods. Ru Huan stretched out her hands again, ready to catch fish once more!

But Ru Huan's hands were bounced back by the Tai Chi diagram once again! She couldn't even touch the Tai Chi diagram itself, let alone scoop up the two fish inside!

Ru Huan refused to believe in bad luck and gathered most of her strength, determined not to fail to catch those two fish!

Ru Huan's forceful intervention was like pouring ink into crystal-clear water, instantly polluting the Tai Chi diagram. The originally clear black and white Tai Chi diagram suddenly became turbid, and the two fish inside disappeared into the already turbid Tai Chi diagram, making it impossible to see where they were hidden!

Ru Huan had no choice but to give up. Then, watching the Tai Chi diagram become increasingly murky, turning into a mass of black and white spiritual energy, Ru Huan gave up. She could sense that the two fish were very valuable and might even enhance her strength.

This is the place where countless laws begin to emerge. It's no exaggeration to say that it's the machine that creates all laws. If I could catch these two fish and cultivate them inside my body, my future laws would be even more perfect...

"I wonder how things are going on with Master? I wonder if he's killed all those old thieves yet?" the hyena asked, looking at the Star-Picking Tower.

"Don't worry, these old thieves are no challenge for our master at all. I feel there are some secrets in the Star-Picking Tower that we don't know about, otherwise our master would stay in the Star-Picking Tower for so long and not go anywhere else!" Li Xia said thoughtfully, looking at the Star-Picking Tower.

"What secrets they may have are none of our business. Since it concerns our master, we should be even more vigilant in guarding the Star-Picking Tower when he's not around!" the two said nonchalantly.

“Yes, after all, as our master’s strength increases, we also rise with it!” Li Xia nodded, then dispersed all the lynxes around the Star-Picking Tower, and the two of them went to the first floor of the Star-Picking Tower to guard this ancient house with a thousand-year history…

"Uncle, Aunt, it's so wonderful that you're alive!" Amumu said happily as she looked at the two people standing in front of her.

"Hehe, the little brat has made something of himself now, he's an official now, hehe." Jike Awang looked at his nephew in front of him with envy, but he knew that Amumu's current status was all earned by himself.

"Uncle, I'm planning to bring everyone from our village to Langcheng. I'll let my aunt and nephew live here. Life in this small mountain village is really too hard. Don't worry, I'll take care of everything for them in Langcheng. I absolutely won't let them suffer here!" Amumu said sincerely.

Jike Awang and Xiaowei exchanged a glance, then looked back at Amumuzhen, their thoughts unreadable...

Zhaixinglou (Star-Picking Tower)

Three or four hours passed in the three-layered world.

The turbid spiritual energy slowly began to become distinct black and white again, but it remained motionless. Nearly two more hours passed, and a fish slowly condensed at the black and white front end of the Taiji diagram.

The two fish began to swim happily back and forth between the black and white sides, then returned to their original position and began to push the Tai Chi diagram to rotate...

This time, Ru Huan didn't rush to make a move. Suddenly, a fishing rod appeared in her hand, condensed from the laws within her body. Using her own laws as the fishing line and her divine sense as the bait, she began to prepare to fish for the two fish inside the Tai Chi diagram...

Ru Huan cast her fishing line to the white side of the Tai Chi diagram, hoping to catch the black fish inside first. Ru Huan hovered in mid-air, waiting for the black fish to take the bait.

The blackfish circled around Ru Huan's fishing line, seemingly uninterested in her bait. Seeing this, Ru Huan wondered if her bait wasn't quite right for the fish.

Just as Ru Huan was about to reel in the line and try a different bait, the black fish suddenly sank into the white spiritual energy. Now, only the white fish on the black side of the Tai Chi diagram was still swimming; the black fish on the white side had disappeared. The Tai Chi diagram with one less fish looked very strange.

Ru Huan knew that the blackfish was testing her, so she held her breath and prepared herself, afraid that she might accidentally scare the blackfish away.

The float began to bob up and down. Ru Huan didn't rush to reel in the line because she could sense that the blackfish was testing her, testing whether the delicious food in front of her was a deadly trap.

The blackfish swam around the enticing bait, occasionally nudging it with its tail, or taking a quick nibble before swimming away...

Suddenly! Ru Huan felt her hand sink! The blackfish had bitten her bait and swallowed it whole!

Ru Huan was overjoyed and immediately began reeling in the line with lightning speed, pulling the black fish out of the white yang energy and then freeing it from the extreme of yang energy in the tai chi diagram!

"Hmm?" Ru Huan was about to catch the black fish when suddenly the black fish turned into a ball of pitch-black spiritual energy and dissipated on the bait, then returned to the extreme of Yang energy and never appeared again...

"What happened?" Ru Huan looked annoyed; the fish she had almost caught had suddenly slipped away.

Undeterred, Ru Huan continued to release the fishing line, preparing to catch the white fish inside the Yin Qi Extreme!

In the same situation, just when she thought she was about to succeed, the white fish would disappear, and Ru Huan would once again return empty-handed.

"What exactly is going on?" Ru Huan stopped fishing and just stared at the Tai Chi diagram below, lost in thought...

Tai Chi is originally composed of Yin and Yang. As the saying goes, "Isolated Yin cannot produce, and solitary Yang cannot grow." It seems that I still need these two Yin-Yang fish. I must find a way to do it, otherwise no matter which one I catch, it will be a waste of effort once it leaves the Tai Chi diagram.

Ru Huan used her spiritual energy to condense two fishing rods, one for fishing white fish and the other for fishing black fish!

With the line set and bait in hand, Ru Huan waited once again for the two fish to bite...

Half a day had passed, but the two yin-yang fish continued to push the Tai Chi diagram as usual, ignoring Ru Huan's bait as if they hadn't seen it at all.

"Hehe, I didn't expect these two fish to be so smart. They were fooled by me once, so they've become very cautious. They know this is a trap for them, so they won't pay any attention to it," Ru Huan chuckled to herself.

Ru Huan wasn't in a hurry. She put away the two fishing rods, then frowned, and two drops of golden blood appeared in her palm.

These two drops of golden blood are Ru Huan's own soul blood. Ru Huan is going to great lengths to get these two fish!

The two drops of golden soul blood slowly transformed into two small fish, one white and one black, which Ru Huan then placed into the Yin and Yang energies of the Tai Chi diagram. The white fish was in the extreme of Yang energy, and the black fish was in the extreme of Yin energy...

The two small fish formed from Ru Huan's soul blood immediately attracted the attention of the two fish, but they were still somewhat wary. Ru Huan let her soul blood fish swim around in the Tai Chi diagram, without deliberately approaching the two Yin-Yang fish, and just swam around in the Tai Chi diagram on her own.

Ru Huan, through the help of her own soul blood fish, is also comprehending the meaning and principles of the Tai Chi diagram...

The two fish finally couldn't resist their curiosity and began to examine and probe their kind, who were about the same size as themselves. However, Ru Huan's Soul Blood Fish was very aloof and completely ignored the two fish.

All spiritual beings share a common trait: the less you pay attention to someone, the more attention they will pay to you and the more they will like you. This is what we call being cheap!

The two fish inside the Tai Chi diagram had been captured by two unfamiliar fish, who fawned over the two enchanting Soul Blood Fish. However, the two Soul Blood Fish were very aloof and completely ignored the two fish.

Ru Huan watched as the two fish circled around her Soul Blood Fish, occasionally showing off their various skills and flashy spells.

Ru Huan seemed to be taking an interest in the magic of the two Soul Blood Fish, and then she began to watch quietly as the black and white fish performed their magic.

Seeing that their performance had successfully attracted the other's attention, the two fish put on an even more energetic show...

"Playing hard to get!" It seems very effective. Ru Huan sneered and began to control her two soul blood fish to make contact with the primordial fish in the Tai Chi diagram...

"Such intense spiritual energy!" Ru Huan felt a surge of heat, but she couldn't rush things now; haste makes waste!

Just as Ru Huan's Soul Blood Fish and the native fish in the Tai Chi diagram were swimming around happily, chasing each other and playing in the current, Ru Huan's Soul Blood Fish suddenly turned into two dragon fish!

Before the two original fish of the Taiji Diagram could react, they were swallowed whole by Ru Huan's Soul Blood Fish! The two Soul Blood Fish instantly appeared in front of Yun from within the Taiji Diagram.

Ru Huan dared not delay and quickly put the two native fish from the Tai Chi diagram into her body!

Ru Huan's body was already prepared. She used her spiritual energy to condense a Tai Chi diagram and then put two native fish inside!

The two native fish were a little confused, but finding that they were still inside the Tai Chi diagram and nothing had changed, they ignored it and just kept playing with Ru Huan's Soul Blood Fish...

Ru Huan watched as the two fish survived inside her body, and as they entered, her previously stagnant cultivation level began to slowly rise again...

Without the propulsion of the two original fish, the Tai Chi diagram outside began to slowly become turbid, and then turned into a series of turbid, viscous, chaotic substances...

The Tai Chi diagram inside the heart began to collapse rapidly, and the heart stopped beating. Countless lines of laws began to crumble, and the entire three-layered world began to perish rapidly...

Zhaixinglou (Star-Picking Tower)

The exit of the three-layered world.

As Huan stood there, the three layers of the world had collapsed, and all the beings that had been bound by the lines of law had broken free. These beings had been bound for too long, and suddenly they were free. With nowhere to vent their resentment and evil, a great battle had begun inside!

Ru Huan guarded the exit, fearing that those creatures might escape through her exit. If even one escaped, the world would truly be in chaos!

"Bang!" Ru Huan killed a creature that was about to cross the boundary with a single blow, and then threw the corpse to the lynx beside her...

Langcheng is now peaceful and tranquil. Hyena, Lixia, and Amumuzhen, along with their shadows, have thoroughly cleaned up the entire city, inside and out!

Uproot and kill all the spies that countless sects and aristocratic families had planted in Langcheng! In an instant, Langcheng was filled with bloodshed!

All those who caused trouble at the Shangguan Group's flagship store and specialty stores outside the city were eliminated by Amumu Zhen and Shangguan Anying. Countless people from various sects and families mysteriously disappeared or died in accidents...

Countless sects and aristocratic families protested, but Shangguan Qiangwei completely ignored them, only saying, "This is Langcheng, not a place where you can come and go as you please. If you're not satisfied, come to Langcheng! I'll play with you!"

Considering that even the masters of Langcheng hadn't managed to take over the secret sects, it was even less likely that ordinary people like himself could, so he could only grit his teeth and accept it.

The hidden lineage is now like a frightened bird; none of the people they sent out have returned, and it seems that a terrifying expert has erased some of their most important memories.

The hidden sect immediately sealed off the mountain and activated its defensive array, fearing that this terrifying opponent would wipe out their sect completely!

Ru Huan guarded the exit of the third world for nearly a year, killing countless beings who wanted to come to this world from the third world, until no more beings inside wanted to break out...

"Master, Bai Xiaochun from Longxia Kingdom is looking for you!" the hyena reported.

Hyena and Lixia didn't need to call or leave any messages for Ruhuan. Ruhuan would naturally know if anyone was looking for them.

"I already know. Get ready, we're going to see this so-called Hell of the Underworld," Ru Huan said calmly.

"Understood!" Hyena and Lixia answered simultaneously.

"You've finally arrived! If you hadn't come, we wouldn't know what to do!" Bai Xiaochun rushed out to greet Ru Huan and the other two as they appeared.

"Don't you have Shan Lang? How come you can't even handle this kind of thing? Even if I fed all those spiritual herbs to a dog, that dog should be on par with the leaders of your hidden sects, right?" the hyena said irritably.

"Ahem... Spirit herbs are indeed good, but ordinary people like us don't dare to overuse them, otherwise we'll be overwhelmed by the abundant spiritual energy, which would be a huge loss..." Bai Xiaochun said with a smile, showing no sign of anger at all.

"Oh, I forgot about that. What's the situation now? Where are those tomb raiders? Where are they now?" the hyena asked.

“We’ve got them under control and are still interrogating them. Shan Lang led a group of people in to investigate, but they’ve been in there for over a week and no one has come out yet, so I had no choice but to ask you for help!” Bai Xiaochun said with a solemn expression.

“Take us to see these tomb raiders first!” Li Xia said, adjusting her glasses.

"Confess! Why did you guys rob tombs? Don't you know that tomb robbing is a criminal offense?" A police officer said to a very thin-looking man in the interrogation room.

“The government forced me into this situation. I told them I didn’t know anything about tomb raiding and couldn’t handle some of the mechanisms, but they just wouldn’t believe me. They said, ‘How could a feng shui master who can tell fortunes not understand these things?’ I said I really couldn’t handle the mechanisms, and they asked me what kind of mechanisms were so difficult that even I couldn’t handle them,” the very thin man said with a sob in his voice.

"So what was your answer?" the police officer asked.

"I said the police, but they didn't believe me. And look what happened, we didn't even find our baby, and this has caused such a huge mess. Waaah..." the very thin man cried.

"You...!" The policeman was speechless for a moment, while the recorder next to him was holding back his laughter.

Interrogation room,

Five or six men and women sat in a row, all of them shackled and handcuffed, with their heads down, not daring to make eye contact with the police officers opposite them.

"Who is the mastermind among you? How did you discover this ancient tomb?" Li Xia looked at the group and asked.

The people on the other side remained silent, using silence to counter Li Xia's interrogation. They seemed to be experienced veterans who knew that they couldn't speak at this time. The more they said, the more loopholes and flaws they would reveal. They all understood the principle that too much talk leads to mistakes.

"You think you can get away with this by not talking, not being honest, and not explaining? You're being too naive. Just a friendly reminder, we're not police officers or government officials, so you'd better answer our questions honestly, or you'll regret it!" Li Xia said, looking at these people.

"Tch!" A nonchalant voice rang out from the group, as if to say, "We're tough guys, we're not easily intimidated. Bring on whatever tricks you have. If you dare touch a hair on our heads, we'll file a complaint against your police station for torture and uncivilized law enforcement!"

Lixia smiled but didn't say anything. She looked at the hyena beside her. The hyena walked up to the group of people, circled back and forth twice, and then stopped in front of one of them.

The man kept his head down, and when he saw a pair of shiny, gleaming Doc Martens standing in front of him, he looked up at the man in front of him with some confusion.

"Is this a policeman?" The man looked puzzled as he stared at a young man dressed in a spirited manner, whose hair was as red as a burning flame.

The man and woman opposite them didn't look very young either, especially the little girl, who looked like an underage girl. Next to her was a very refined-looking man with hair as white as frost.

"Do these police officers want to fight fire with fire? To have these thugs teach them a lesson?" That was the man's first thought.

"You! Stand up! I'll say one thing, and you'll answer one thing! I want to hear the absolute truth of everything you say. Are you ready?" the hyena said, looking at the man with a full beard.

"Brother, what kind of gang do you work for...!" The bearded man stood up, ready to make connections with the hyena, but before he could finish speaking, he felt a hard kick to his stomach.

The bearded man slid off the floor like a shrimp, his shackles and handcuffs sparking as they rubbed against the floor.

"Ah! Someone's been killed! The police are beating people! Look, the police are beating people!"

"I'm going to sue you! You police officers only know how to bully ordinary people like us! I'm going to expose you!"

"Yes! We want you to lose your job, we want you to be subjected to cyberbullying!"

When the group saw their companion being beaten by this spirited young man, they were suddenly filled with righteous indignation and began to condemn the hyena.

Even the police didn't dare to use violence against them, but this young man was so reckless. He beat up their boss right away. They were just saying they couldn't find a reason, but then someone came along and delivered a pillow when they were sleepy.

The hyena turned around, looked at the spittle-flecked, indignant people behind it, grinned, pointed at them, and then walked towards the bearded man huddled in the corner, howling in pain...

“I don’t want to repeat myself! What is your purpose in coming here? You can’t really be here to rob tombs, can you?” The hyena squatted down in front of the bearded man and continued to ask.

"Help! I don't know what you're talking about. I just feel like I can't breathe. Please call an ambulance for me. I'm going to die!" The bearded man lay on the ground, wailing and clutching his stomach as he cried.

"You thugs! All you do is bully us ordinary people. You've almost beaten someone to death, and you still haven't called an ambulance. If our companion dies here, I bet none of you will escape!"

"Yes! A bunch of cowardly bullies who only know how to bully us."

The group of men launched into a tirade of insults at the hyenas, trying to get them to take their companion to the hospital.

"Hehe, not cooperating with me? Then I'll start to be impolite!" The hyena ignored the curses and vicious language of these people, stood up and grabbed the bearded man who was lying on the ground throwing a tantrum!

"What are you doing? Let me tell you, hitting people here is illegal! I'm warning you..." Before the bearded man could finish speaking, his face full of terror, the energetic young man in front of him suddenly grabbed his neck!

"Since you don't want to talk, then I don't want to know either. Anyway, there are so many of you. Even if you don't talk, these people shouldn't be as fearless as you, right?" The hyena grinned maliciously, grabbing the bearded man by the neck with one hand and lifting him into the air.

A strong feeling of suffocation came over him. The bearded man tried desperately to pry open the hand that was gripping his neck, but the hand was like an iron clamp, clamping down on his neck tightly. No matter how hard he hit, it was to no avail!

This energetic young man wasn't threatening him; he genuinely wanted him dead! The bearded man finally realized that this energetic young man didn't care about his life or death at all!

"I...I'll talk, I...I'll confess...!" The bearded man felt the approach of death, his limbs flailing wildly, trying to hold back his near-fainting, and managed to force out a few words from his throat.

The hyena loosened its grip, and the bearded man fell to the ground like a dead dog, coughing violently. His pale purple face was filled with fear as he gasped for air.

"Tell me, who sent you here? You'd better tell the truth. I don't have much patience, and this is your last chance!" the hyena said, looking at the bearded man.

"Ahem... We're a civilian organization. We like to go on wilderness adventures. I saw a video on Kuaishou and Douyin saying that this place is haunted, so I invited a few like-minded friends to come here to explore. Government, we really didn't come here to rob tombs, and no one sent us here. Please believe me!" The bearded man knelt on the ground and said innocently.

"Oh? Really? Do you remember what this blogger on Kuaishou is called? Have you seen any ghosts here?" the hyena asked with a smile.

"What the hell? We've only been here a short while, and you've already caught us. We haven't seen anything," the bearded man replied breathlessly, finally catching his breath...
