Chapter 40: Uncharged Weapons “It’s okay, I can carry it…
"It's okay, I can carry it." Tim didn't intend to let it walk.
"Is this really a puppy? It doesn't look like one." Winnie finally noticed something was wrong.
"You can treat it as it is."
As they were talking, they walked into the store and were immediately greeted by someone.
"Where should we sit?" Tim looked at the two of them. He felt that it didn't matter where they sat, but of course a more secluded spot would be better.
"Let's go this way. It's going to be dark soon and it's brighter here." Winnie walked to a corner against the wall and pointed at the table.
After they chose their items, the waiter didn't let them wait too long. "Have some, please."
Leisure time is always short.
There were two bangs, and before Liu Shu could see who came in, Winnie pulled him under the table.
Screams rang in my ears, accompanied by the collapse of tables and chairs and the breaking of cutlery. "Is it because I just mentioned robbery? How can I be so unlucky?" Winnie whispered, holding a plate of lemon tarts in her hands.
Why is there this? Liu Shu looked at her and the thing in her hand in confusion. It was already so late, and she still brought this under the table?
She smiled and fed Liu Shu a mouthful.
It’s amazing! People with a good attitude can live well anywhere. Liu Shu wanted to say something, but Winnie kept feeding her, so she couldn’t open her mouth.
The dessert on the plate was so small that Winnie quickly put down her fork.
"I've called the police," she typed quietly on her phone.
Liu Shu felt that before the police arrived, those people would be beaten up by Robin first.
There were footsteps approaching, and she raised her hand to turn off Winnie's phone.
Although this place was hidden, there was nowhere to escape. Liu Shu put her hands in her pockets. She was armed and waited for the man to bend down...
A pair of feet appeared at the edge of the tablecloth, and he seemed about to discover them.
Faster than the hand that lifted the tablecloth was the robber's head, which fell between the tablecloth and the ground.
"Ah!" Winnie was startled and screamed in horror.
"It's okay, he fainted." It should be Robin. Liu Shu was very calm. She kicked the unconscious robber away and left the small space under the table.
There was a dart on the ground that seemed different from the one at home, so she picked it up.
The robbers in the store should have been dealt with. Liu Shu turned his head and looked at Robin who was still fighting in the store in surprise.
There were robbers lying on the ground and on the table, but a petite man swung a knife at Robin.
His swordsmanship was sharp and his speed was incredible. Robin had no choice but to defend himself and had no time to fight back.
"What is that?" Winnie also came out. Actually, she shouldn't do this before the battle is over, but she was more worried about Liu Shu who was standing outside.
"Who could it be?" Who else could it be but a kid who is so good with a knife? Liu Shu wanted to sigh now, but she held it back.
"A new villain?" Winnie sat down on the chair next to her and straightened her sleeves. This was the relaxation of the people of Gotham.
Seeing his attacks being blocked, Damian, who was wearing a hood over his face, challenged him, "You only know how to dodge?"
Robin said nothing, but just used his long stick to block his knife.
"Tsk." He increased his strength, then suddenly let go, and then stabbed Robin who leaned forward with the dagger in his sleeve.
Winnie covered her eyes.
But the situation was better than they thought. Robin was prepared for this tactic. He broke the long stick into two pieces and held Damian's hand.
The dagger was knocked down by the short stick, and another stick was swung towards Damian's head. Damian was ready to take the blow.
The pain he had imagined did not come. Robin was obviously not as aggressive as he thought. His stick only lifted the hood that covered the upper half of Damian's face.
"You're injured..." Robin was more surprised by his age than this.
He was clearly a little boy with baby fat on his face, but his emerald green eyes were full of hostility, and matching this meaning was his sharpness, just like the edge of a knife.
Ding ding, the scariest kid in Gotham arrived in his Gotham. Liu Shu took a step back and she also wanted to sit down.
The sound of a bullet being loaded came from beside my feet. It was the robber who had just fallen down. He woke up!
The robber, whose consciousness was still hazy, raised the gun unsteadily and pointed it at Winnie.
Arriving before the batarang and the throwing knife was the chair in Liu Shu's hand.
She used a chair as a sword and smashed the gun out of the robber's hand.
Winnie quickly squatted down and took the gun in her hand. She pointed the gun at the robber, but he fainted again and did not need a finishing blow.
"Why is this gun so cold?" She muttered softly. Such a trivial matter did not cause her to react much.
When Liu Shu heard her words, he looked at his hands in disbelief.
"What's wrong?" Winnie came over with concern.
"It's okay, my hand hurts." His slightly trembling hands had obviously endured unbearable force. Liu Shu put his hands behind his back and looked at the two people in the center of the store.
Damian looked at Liu Shu with an unreadable look, but he quickly turned his head away and put his hood back on.
After throwing pulse batarangs at all the robbers in the store, Robin walked towards him.
"Weak." This was Damian's evaluation of Robin before he left.
Robin gave chase.
After they left, the police arrived.
The Gotham police were very experienced in post-event cleaning. They called the guests out from under the table and covered them with blankets.
Tim came with the police. He looked very tired, as if he had been running for a long time.
"I won't ask you where you're going," Winnie crossed her arms, looking unhappy, "even though I really don't want to do this... Send her home. I'm going to pick up Tina."
"Sorry." Tim knew this was the only thing he could say at this time.
"Bye, I'm free the day after tomorrow and the day after that, we can go out for a walk together." She held Liu Shu's hand.
"Let's talk about it in two days." Liu Shu nodded.
"You'll contact me two days later?"
Is it possible that "two days later" does not mean "two days later"?
"No, let's talk about it when we have time, not two days later." Liu Shu tried his best to explain.
"Huh?" Winnie got into the car puzzled. Her sister was about to finish school and she couldn't delay any longer.
"Are you okay?" Tim looked at her hand. "Do you want to go to the hospital?"
"I don't know." Feeling a little numb, Liu Shu was still not sure what he had just done.
"Can I see it?" Tim held out his hand to her.
It wasn't that Liu Shu didn't trust him. She looked around and asked, "Here?"
There are so many people.
"Sorry!" Tim reacted and looked away embarrassedly, "Let's go over there first."
They found a deserted corner.
"Pick this up." Tim put a candy in the palm of his hand.
Wasn't this given to him before? Why hasn't he eaten it yet?
Ryushu picked up the candy with his right hand.
"Switch your hand." He frowned.
"Doctor, please don't show any expression at a time like this," Ryushu became nervous.
Tim reached out to her again.
"It's okay, there are no broken bones. Does it hurt?" He gently put her hand down. Because he was observing carefully, he didn't think too much about it.
"It doesn't hurt."
"I tremble when I exert myself..." Tim picked up his cell phone and made a call.
"Let's go, I'll take you to the hospital." He thought it would be safer to take an X-ray.
Liu Shu nodded. She had no intention of hiding her illness and avoiding medical treatment. Machines need to be repaired if they are broken, and the same goes for people.
Only after she got in the car did she start to feel shy about what had just happened.
I don't know when Di Ting, who was put in the car by Tim, rubbed Liu Shu's leg.
Tim looked at the person who didn't dare to face him but whose earlobes were red, and he just found it funny. His reaction time was a bit long.
"It's a crack fracture, and it's recovering very well. It will be fully recovered in two days." The doctor's words after looking at the film were very surprising.
"Almost healed?" Tim could also understand the images, and his judgment was consistent with the doctor's.
"Yes."
They walked into the corridor outside the clinic.
"Did you injure your hand before? Although it's almost healed, you still have to be careful." Tim looked at Liu Shu with a serious expression, and he found a reasonable explanation.
"Thank you." Liu Shu could feel that his hands had stopped shaking.
She knew that she was injured today, and her recovery ability seemed to be different from that of ordinary people.
Liu Shu thought of the Xianzhou, but in this situation, he was not as strong as the Xianzhou people.
"But I wasn't injured before."
Tim's face was full of helplessness. He had finally managed to make it happen for her.
"Well...it's okay now." Liu Shu spread his hands to him.
"That's pretty impressive." Tim had wanted to investigate privately, but his classmates not only let him watch, but also said everything.
He has never encountered such a situation before. Normally, shouldn't he cover it up? Then, he searches for the truth through various channels?
"Don't you find it strange?" Liu Shu didn't know why he was like this.
"It's okay, at least you're okay."
Liu Shu didn't care about the investigations he would definitely conduct later, she had already moved on.
There are no secrets in Gotham, so she might as well let him investigate. That way, when the results come out, she will still know what she wants to know.
Liu Shu was sent back home safely.
She sat on the sofa to rest, and a signal light flashed.
It's Yanou's side.
Sometimes I really want to know what Batman is doing. Liu Shu controls the puppet and walks down from a strange circular platform.
"Is it full already?" Actually, I should say finally. Bruce supported the operating table with one hand and turned around to look at Liu Shu.
"What are you doing?"
He was looking at how much energy input the puppet could withstand.
"Robin." Batman called out to Robin who was passing by.
"Is there something wrong with the batarangs?" Robin stopped with a few batarangs.
"The ones you brought today weren't fully charged."
"Huh?" Robin looked at the weapon in his hand.
Liu Shu seemed to know why the robber woke up.
The Batcave is usually dark, but that's for atmosphere, and it's dark now because there are fewer lights on.
"A little bit of basic power is reserved, and everything else is used..."
"Why would you charge me? I have nothing to do." Liu Shu lowered his head and looked at Yanou's body. Why would he do such a thing?
"How long can we move now?" Batman didn't want to use the electrical appliances at home before they were fully charged. He always kept the battery of his mobile phone above 50.
This is already his doll and must be fully charged.
"Hundreds of years." There were no particularly strong monsters to fight, and Liu Shu couldn't imagine the scenario where she would run out of power for the puppet. That was too difficult.
There is no need to recharge in Luofu, as the Ten Kings Division has a dedicated maintenance point.
Liu Shu walked towards the glass display case next to him, "Find me a cabinet too."
