Chapter 93: Adventure in the Ice Cave: First of all, don’t explore. “Need…”

Chapter 93: Adventure in the Ice Cave: First of all, don’t explore. “Need…”

"Do you need to clear the way?" Jarvis' voice sounded inside the car as it stopped.

"No, if I move too much I'll get caught." Tony looked at the light outside the window.

There really was no way out in that direction. Combining Jarvis's words and his suggestion that the movement was too big, Liu Shu seemed to understand how they could open a path.

"I'll take you flying, don't respond to it." Strange released a piece of red cloth, which should be his cloak.

"Why?" Liu Shu looked at the raised corner of the magic weapon. She didn't touch it, but it was quite interesting to see it twisting around.

"It will be happy to play with you, but don't forget, we are not here to play." Strange was a little helpless.

"Okay, let's play later." His magic weapon was really lively. Liu Shu imitated Tony and sat on the edge of the levitation cloak.

"You could have just let me take everyone to their destination directly." Loki sat down cross-legged. He was used to being transported around.

"Who knows where you will take us, a trap or a prison?" Strange let his magic weapon fly following his detection magic, while he himself floated in the air and followed.

This was safe, and Liu Shu could understand his caution.

"It's not very efficient, but we have plenty of time." She shook her feet. She was worried that her shoes would fall off when sitting on a high place. She lowered her head and luckily no one here was wearing slippers.

"Relax, there are people who can catch you if you fall." Tony seemed to think she was scared.

"Who will catch me?" The dense trees under your feet give you the illusion that it won't be a big deal if you fall down, but if you really jump down, those branches will pierce your body like arrows.

"Jarvis."

"He's too busy." It feels like he's everywhere.

"Those who are capable should do more work. We are also very busy." Tony said casually, as if he was not telling the truth.

Liu Shu recalled today's schedule. If this was considered busy, then the people who worked, attended meetings, and signed documents every day seemed to be extremely busy.

I always feel that the air around New Yorkers is more relaxed.

"Can you tell me how you created Jarvis?"

"Are you interested in this? Yeah, yes, there is no one who is not interested in Jarvis." Tony said very confidently.

While they were talking about the crystallization of human wisdom, a hole appeared in the vegetation in the distance, and they were approaching that location.

"We're going to descend," Strange warned.

"Kind of like where the hammer was found." Tony frowned as they got closer. "Smashed through?"

There was only a collapsed pit on the gravel ground. It was pitch black and bottomless. I didn't know if it was dangerous.

Liu Shu looked at the fallen trees and the blown-up roots nearby, feeling somewhat puzzled. With such a big commotion, was there no one coming to take a look?

Tony on the side raised his hand and released a small flying vehicle.

It circled the entire pothole.

"There are footprints here," Jarvis said over the aircraft's voice system. "Four adult males, normal size, carrying non-standard equipment, went down and never came back out."

"That doesn't sound good," Tony looked over to the side of the pit. "How long until now?"

"It's impossible to tell. It rained the night before yesterday, so we can only guess it was three days ago." Jarvis didn't say anything good.

"This is dangerous. We can't waste time. Let's go down now." Tony turned to look at Liu Shu, "You stay here."

"No need, I'll go with you." Liu Shu stood at the edge of the dark cave entrance. It was easier to rescue people in this kind of straight cave. If it was a natural cave with many paths, the environment would be complicated and it would be more difficult to rescue people.

"Are you kidding me?"

"Okay." Strange nodded.

Tony looked at the legendary wizard with confusion.

"You are much more fragile than her, really." Strange looked back with a smile.

"Mutations?"

"You should understand it in terms of growth." He felt that Tony's choice of words was inappropriate.

Strange is such a nice person, Liu Shu nodded in agreement, what is mutation, that's too ugly.

"Okay, I'll tell Jarvis to keep an eye on it and tell us if anything happens." Tony nodded reluctantly.

"If you feel uncomfortable, remember to tell me. There is no navigation down there." People trapped underground have almost no chance of survival. Liu Shu sat on the levitation cloak again. They would use it to go down.

Three days. I hope those people can find water, so that they can at least hold on a little longer.

"The temperature here is not right." Tony seemed to be very familiar with this knowledge, and he keenly noticed the abnormality.

"It's the influence of the artifact." Loki looked at his detection magic. It automatically emitted light after entering the darkness. It was a little weak, but he could see the situation below clearly.

What a hellish light! Liu Shu didn’t say it out loud, but she really felt that this magic was too green, and the entire cave was illuminated by it, making it gloomy and eerie.

Fortunately, Strange cast a lighting spell in time.

The ground was covered with sharp stones, with no signs of plants or animals. The light from above was blocked at a bend. When they came down, Cloak hesitated for a long time at that bend, as if thinking about how to squeeze all three people in at once.

"There are only traces of advancement. The four explorers did not return here, and someone was injured here." Jarvis analyzed the situation here.

"Is there only one way..." Tony stood where he was, "Jarvis, go check out that side." The direction he pointed to was a small hole. An adult would need to lie down to get in. Without a high-powered flashlight, it would be impossible to find the small hole.

"Yes, sir."

"It's so quiet." There was only the faint sound of the aircraft. As Jarvis controlled the aircraft to fly farther and farther away, even that sound disappeared. Liu Shu looked around.

Illumination is different from flares. This kind of magic does not create a strong light floating in the air, but a shadowless light, as if it has increased the exposure of the world.

They did not blindly follow the detection magic. After discovering that someone had been there, it was no longer a simple journey to find the artifact, they had to find the person.

"Don't worry," Strange said, letting his cloak go in another direction. "Maybe it can bring someone with it when it comes back."

That being said, this place... Liu Shu raised his head and saw that it was indeed a natural cave, like a karst cave.

"It fell here once," Loki said, squatting beside a large rock. "Those people took it away."

"Are you sure?" Tony walked over.

"Of course, this is the 'table' or 'altar' it chose for itself." Loki stood up, as if he didn't want to be looked down upon.

"That artifact of yours is quite exquisite." Tony tugged at his clothes; he felt a little cold.

"The Sword in the Stone? Why can a few adventurers pull it out?" Liu Shu and he checked the marks on the stone together. It really looked like a dagger could have stabbed it in.

"The Excalibur is a long sword after all. It's really hard to pull it out when it's stuck in the stone. That dragon nail clipper is a dagger, so it has less friction." Tony reached out and touched the material of the stone.

As expected of him, he actually used physics to explain it. Liu Shu didn't think that was the case. "But here, even if we can control the wind and snow, it will be useless. Can they find the exit?"

"I found the exit." Jarvis' voice came from beside Tony's hand. It seemed that he had a lot of equipment on him.

“But no one has ever walked that path.” That’s not good news.

After listening to the report, Tony had no choice but to look at Strange, "What about you?"

"Let's go in their direction first." He shook his head.

It sounded like there was something wrong, but it didn't seem like a big problem. Liu Shu glanced at Strange, who had a calm expression and wasn't in a hurry.

As they continued to advance underground, the temperature grew lower and lower, and the surrounding stones were covered with a layer of white frost.

Suddenly, a whole piece of red appeared in front of Liu Shu's eyes. It was Strange's cloak that came back. It circled around several people twice and finally fell on Tony's shoulders.

Only then did she realize that Tony was a little cold.

"Isn't this a bit too exaggerated?" Tony pulled at the cloak, which wrapped him tightly, forcing him to walk.

"There's no way. This passage is too narrow. If you were to wear armor, you would get stuck here." Strange looked back at him with a smile in his eyes. This seemed to be quite fun for him.

"I'll assume you really think so."

Liu Shu slipped and almost fell, but luckily her balance was still good enough.

"There is water, and it's frozen." She looked at the ground. They were now walking close to the underground river, but there was no sound of water, only ice.

She wasn't cold now, she could feel the temperature without any negative reaction, which seemed to be a good thing.

"It's all frozen." There seemed to be something more in Strange's words, but they didn't understand it yet.

"I don't think those guys are still alive. It's harder to survive here than in the snowfield. At least there I can pick up some branches to make a fire." Tony wrapped his hands with the levitation cloak and slowly moved forward while holding the wall.

His shoes won't hold up well on the ice.

"Hey, what are you doing? Let me walk by myself!" Tony was suddenly lifted into the air by the cloak, although it was only a few centimeters off the ground.

Liu Shu glanced at him and the cloak, and then this kind-hearted magical instrument extended a helping hand to her, probably a hand, and gave her a small corner to hold on to.

"Thank you." She thanked him politely, and the cloak fluttered up and down with joy upon hearing it.

Wrapped in it, Tony seemed to have given up something. He closed his eyes and asked, "Can you please stop shaking, please."

After he asked, the cloak became visibly smoother.

"Okay, thank you." Tony sighed.

Hearing the thanks, it became excited again.

"Stop, stop, stop shaking."

In this ice cave where it is difficult to move forward, Doctor Strange relies on flying, Liu Shu and Tony rely on his cloak, and only Loki uses his knife to chisel the ice and slowly move forward. This is the uphill road.

"Hey, this is quite comfortable." Tony lay down in a leisurely posture. He had now come to terms with the levitation cloak.
