Chapter 194: Bo Qiaohui 6

Chapter 194: Bo Qiaohui 6

"You're lying! My niece isn't dead. She's still breathing!"

As Mo Li was about to reach out to grab the girl in the man's arms, he was pushed away by the burly man with one hand.

"How do you push people?"

Liu Qi frowned, very dissatisfied with the man's behavior.

Qiao Hui supported the woman who had stumbled a few steps after being pushed, and said to the man, "Your wife said the child is still breathing. Why don't you ask a doctor to take a look? If he does, it wouldn't be a bad idea for you and your wife to bury the child."

As the sky grew darker, the man's patience wore thin. He couldn't help but reveal a vicious expression on his face. "This is our family affair. Why would you two meddle in it? This is my own daughter. I can do whatever I want with her."

Qiaohui's ears twitched, and she quietly pulled Qi'er's sleeve, signaling him to look in the bushes beside her. Liu Qi saw the vague pattern and immediately reacted, and hurriedly spoke to attract the man's attention:

"Who wants to meddle in your family's affairs? In this remote mountain valley, we are afraid that if we stay too late, there will be tigers eating us."

"Yes, yes, my brothers said they encountered a huge tiger in this mountain before. Let's go."

Qiaohui hid behind Liu Qi and muttered softly, which was heard by everyone. Liu Qi grabbed Qiaohui and they turned around and left.

"Ah—Tiger!"

The sharp child's voice frightened the man so much that he trembled all over. He subconsciously looked in the direction of the girl's finger. Sure enough, a tiger as tall as a man opened its bloody mouth and almost bit off his head.

In a flash, the man threw the girl in his arms over and said, "Don't eat me, eat her if you want to eat someone!"

The tiger sniffed the girl who had fainted on the ground and actually stopped.

The man was overjoyed, but when he saw a woman and two children standing behind him, he ran away without even daring to look back.

When the man disappeared, Qiao Hui reached out and high-fived Liu Qi, smiling, "Great!"

"You guys go away quickly..." Mo Li was about to persuade the two children to leave, as he was planning to fight the tiger to the death, but he found that the tiger just sniffed his daughter, then snorted, slowly walked over and rubbed against the girl.

"Don't be afraid, Auntie. The tiger is our friend."

Mo Li had been following the Grand Empress Dowager and had seen all the ups and downs in the world, but the scene of the two children playing with the beasts still had a great impact on her.

"Shanjun, please go and scare that man so he won't come back later."

The girl patted the tiger's head and gave it some serious instructions. The tiger actually nodded as if it had become a spirit, turned its body and disappeared into the woods.

Qiao Hui and Liu Qi hurriedly pulled Mo Li over to the girl's side. Qiao Hui sniffed her breath and said, "She's still breathing. We need to find a doctor quickly."

"It's late at night, and in the middle of nowhere. How can anyone come?"

Just when they were worried, they heard the sound of passing wheels. Qiaohui looked up and saw her eldest brother and fourth brother sitting in the cart, both of them looked unhappy.

"Little sister, are you okay?"

"It's okay, we're all fine. Fourth brother, let's not talk about this for now. Let's carry this little girl in first and then we can go down the mountain and find a doctor."

Bo Chen and Bo Ren had been practicing martial arts for many years. After a quick inspection of the girl's injuries, they breathed a sigh of relief. "It should be just a superficial wound, but you still have to be careful with your head. Let's go. If we hurry, we can still make it before they close."

Qiao Hui glanced at the car and made a quick decision: "Brother, accompany us and walk slowly down the mountain. Fourth brother, you go ahead with this lady and come pick us up after we get to the clinic."

"Okay." The two brothers of the Bo family had no objection. Mo Li glanced at the unconscious nephew Wang, gritted his teeth and apologized to the two children, then got into the car and held his daughter in his arms.

Bo Chen pulled the rope and whistled, and the car quickly disappeared into the night.

Bo Ren held one child in each hand, and the two children chatted all the way, occasionally chatting with Bo Ren. No matter how naive Liu Qi's questions were, Bo Ren answered them gently and seriously. When he encountered questions he didn't know the answer to, he shook his head honestly to indicate that he was not good at it.

"Brother, I'm tired."

Qiaohui is only six years old this year. Such a lot of activity must have exhausted her physical strength. She is so sleepy that she can hardly open her eyes.

Bo Ren lifted his little sister into his arms with one hand, looked down at Liu Qi who was too embarrassed to speak, and picked him up as well.

"I, I don't need that. I'm a man and I can walk back by myself."

Bo Ren smiled and said, "A man should also have a good rest. Go to sleep. When you wake up, we will be home."

Qiaohui also stretched out her hand, and the two children held hands and climbed onto Bo Ren's shoulders and fell asleep.

Bo Ren held them firmly with both hands, and walked steadily step by step. Halfway through the journey, Bo Chen had already driven back. Seeing that the two children were fast asleep, he quickly lowered his voice and carefully moved them to the car.

"How about the child?"

Bo Ren and Bo Qin sat side by side outside the car. A smile crossed the boy's face as he listened to his eldest brother's question. "The child who was injured halfway is fine now. It was only a superficial wound. The doctor prescribed some blood-activating and blood-stasis-removing medicine, but it's not as good as ours. I saw that the mother and daughter had nowhere else to go, so I let her stay at our gouache shop with the child for one night."

As Bo Qin spoke, he gently opened the curtain. Seeing the two children leaning against each other, with the older one even resting his hand on his precious sister, he felt uncomfortable and quickly lowered the curtain, clutching his chest.

"Jiraiya, I've never seen my little sister be nice to those annoying brats. How come she's become so close to this kid after just one day?"

"I think their personalities are compatible." Bo Ren didn't have that much thought. He actually liked the boy. "Didn't they say his parents didn't want him? I think he's a good kid. When he grows up, he can be a child husband for our little sister."

Bo Chen curled his lips and said nothing. "They are still young anyway, so we'll see. This child is okay, but my sister deserves the best!"

The two people's voices gradually became lower. In the carriage, Liu Qi opened his eyes and looked at Aqiao, then closed his eyes thoughtfully, rested his chin on Aqiao's head, and fell asleep with his exhausted spirit.

When they got home, Bo Chen looked at the two men's tightly clasped hands and was so angry that he wanted to shake the boy awake, but Bo Ren stopped him: "It's no use just shaking him awake. He's still young. Forget it."

"What's so small? My sister is only six, but this kid is at least eight!"

Bo Chen gritted his teeth and glared at the boy: "No, we must wake them up."

In the end, Qiaohui, who was still half asleep, was carried to her room by her eldest brother, and Liu Qi stayed with the reluctant Bo Qin for the night.
