Ji Zhijun had already told her that the two bags of things prepared were prepared by Ji Xia for her, and they were all new. Zhang Hong really felt that her sister-in-law was already good enough.
Which sister-in-law in the brigade would be so generous as to prepare so much when she gives birth? Usually, a sister-in-law giving a pound of brown sugar is considered quite generous.
Ji Xia breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this: "That's enough. In that case, shall I take them out for a meal? Auntie, would you stay here and keep your sister-in-law company for a while?"
Zhang's mother waved her hand readily and nodded vaguely, "It's alright, I'm here. I'll keep an eye on her. Zhijun, go out and eat, don't be shy."

Zhang Lan smiled shyly: "It's already very good. I've never eaten such delicious braised pork before."
The Ji family had no shortage of meat; at least half of the braised pork had ended up in Zhang Lan's bowl, which made her feel the Ji family's friendliness.
Ji Xia chuckled: "Actually, the best thing that state-run restaurants do isn't braised pork, but fish. Whether it's steamed, braised, or stewed, they do it very well. I'll treat you to some next time."
As she spoke, she pushed open the door and saw Zhang's mother stuffing things into a large bag, including the malted milk powder, red dates, and milk candy that Ji Xia had bought for Zhang Hong.
