Chapter 65 If we met first, would you choose me?

Chapter 65 If we met first, would you choose me?

After breakfast, Gu Yin gave her husband a wink. Chu Mingzhi understood and immediately pulled Gu Yushu to the study.

Gu Yin happily took Shen Zhen's hand in one hand and Jiang Yu's hand in the other, and sat down in the back garden. Wow! Xiao Shu is so lucky! One is sweet and adorable, the other is bright and elegant. The more I look at them, the more I like them!

Chu Chu's forehead throbbed with pain; her mother looked exactly like a lecherous woman! Even Ximen Qing would have to admit defeat!

Gu Yin gently massaged Jiang Yu's small hands and earnestly instructed, "Oh dear, look at this poor little thing, her eyes are so swollen, it really breaks my heart to see her like this. You can't be too indulgent in the future, too many tricks aren't a good thing either."

Gu Yin glanced around quickly, then asked shyly, "Auntie, is it alright to ask, what's it like having a threesome? Is it exciting?"

Shen Zhen nearly spat out the water she was holding, coughing violently from the choking. How could her aunt be so different from what she had imagined? Was her "three-person trip" the one she understood?!

Chu Chu immediately got up to pat Shen Zhen's back. Seeing Shen Zhen coughing until her eyes were red and teary, Chu Chu felt heartbroken. She glared at her mother and said, "Mom, what are you thinking? Jiang Yu is Shen Zhen's good friend. She has her own girlfriend."

Jiang Yu stiffened, thinking of Zhong Li, her heart filled with disappointment, and said softly, "Hehe. Aunt, you really know how to joke."

After Shen Zhen finally calmed down, Chu Chu took the opportunity to withdraw her hands and sit back down.

Gu Yin chuckled twice, taking in Chu Chu's subtle actions. Her daughter was hopelessly in love with this innocent girl! She was already imagining a dramatic love triangle between two wealthy sisters, tsk tsk tsk, this damned love! This trip back was worth it!

Gu Yin rolled her eyes, patted Jiang Yu's hand, and said with a smile, "Little Yu'er, sit here for a while, Auntie will be here soon. Chu Chu, Zhen Zhen, you two come with me to get something."

Gu Yin pulled Chu Chu and Shen Zhen out, leaving Jiang Yu sitting alone in a daze. She was feeling down and really wanted to be alone for a while.

Jiang Yu repeatedly opened her phone, tapped Zhong Li's WeChat, typed and deleted messages over and over again. She felt a pang of regret. Yesterday, when she discovered Li's blind date, she had been too agitated and hit Li. Perhaps Li had some hidden reason? Was Li angry? She shouldn't have embarrassed Li in public like that.

Jiang Yu gripped her phone tightly, gazing absently at the distant sky. Every sweet moment she shared with Zhong Li tormented her heart; she couldn't stop thinking about her. She resolved that she absolutely had to find Zhong Li later; they should have a proper talk.

Jiang Yu let her mind wander for a while, then tried to encourage herself and mustered the courage to call Zhong Li. One call, two calls, three calls—no one answered; the phone kept ringing with a busy tone.

Jiang Yu could only console herself, maybe Ali was busy? That must be it, Ali must be busy with something. She couldn't be so inconsiderate as to keep calling her, she should wait for her to reply.

Jiang Yu even thought that even if Ali was getting married, as long as she made it clear to her, she could wait for her. She would wait until the day when Ali was free from burdens and could be with her. She had a job and a career, and she wasn't clingy, as long as Ali still loved her.

...

Gu Yin led Shen Zhen and Chu Chu to the basement. She stood at the door and directed the two of them to help her get a bottle of red wine from inside.

Shen Zhen and Chu Chu, unsuspecting, continued walking inside.

Gu Yin shouted, "Take your time looking, I'll be right there!"

"Bang!"

Gu Yin locked the basement door from the outside, and Chu Chu and Shen Zhen looked at each other in bewilderment.

Shen Zhen pointed to the door. Neither she nor Chu Chu had brought their phones. What was going on?

Chu Chu quickly figured out her mother's little trick and was so angry she wanted to bite her. "Never mind my mom, let's go sit on the sofa over there. She's just doing whatever she wants, she'll let us out in a bit."

The two sat there staring at each other, not knowing how long they had been sitting. Shen Zhen was getting anxious. Why hadn't Gu Yushu come to find her yet? It was too awkward for her to sit there with Chu Chu like this.

Chu Chu didn't seem to care. She nestled on the sofa with her long legs crossed, squinting her eyes as she secretly sized up Chen Zhen across from her.

The little girl was restless, glancing outside every now and then, hoping someone would open the door for them. Chu Chu felt a bitter taste in her mouth; was being with her really this unbearable?

Chu Chu decided to tease Chen Zhen, so she got up and found her a bottle of water, jokingly saying, "There's enough food here to last us for a while. Don't worry, we won't starve."

Shen Zhen took the water, on the verge of tears: "No way? Auntie's going to lock us up for a few days?"

Chu Chu shrugged. "My mom doesn't play by the rules, so it's hard to say."

Shen Zhen prayed in her heart, "No, no, Ashu will come to rescue me."

The two fell into a brief silence. Chu Chu, clutching the water bottle, looked at him earnestly and carefully asked, "Zhenzhen, if... I mean if I had met you first, would you have chosen me?"

Shen Zhen bit her lip, looked directly at Chu Chu, and shook her head firmly. "Chu Chu, you are very good. No matter who I meet first, I think the only person I love is A Shu."

Three years together and four years apart had long since made Shen Zhen clear about her feelings for Yu Shu. From the initial sympathy and affection, to the mutual understanding and cherishing they shared, to the heart-wrenching pain of their separation, Shen Zhen had always been clear about her own heart. There would never be another person in the world who could move her heart so deeply.

Chu Chu's eyes were slightly red, and her throat felt bitter. "But... Grandpa is very difficult to deal with. You've seen that my parents are very open-minded. I can give you the same material life that Sister Shu can give you."

Chu Chu tried dating various girlfriends, but none of them could take root in her heart like Chen Zhen.

Having seen countless beautiful flowers, I understand even more clearly who I truly love.

Shen Zhen frowned slightly. "What does my liking for her have to do with all this?"

Chu Chu leaned closer to Shen Zhen, coaxing her gently, her red lips parting slightly with a seductive tone, "Zhen Zhen, it's related. Sister Shu is now the head of the Gu family, and she has the responsibility to oversee the future of the entire Gu Corporation. Do you know how many men and women are throwing themselves at her? Can you guarantee she won't change her mind in the future?"

Shen Zhen's eyes widened as she glared at Chu Chu, displeased. What right did outsiders have to question her Ashu? That was between them; questioning Ashu like this was an insult to her!

Shen Zhen, with a stern face, reprimanded sharply, "Chu Chu, stop talking! I believe her!"

Chu Chu carefully pinned Chen Zhen beneath her, looked down at her, and asked with a hurt expression, "If Sister Shu doesn't love you anymore, will you come to my side?"

Shen Zhen pushed Chu Chu away and shouted, "No! If she doesn't love me anymore, I'll make her fall in love with me again!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the basement door burst open, and Gu Yushu stood in the doorway with a gloomy expression.

Shen Zhen looked over helplessly, her heart filled with panic. She didn't want Ashu to misunderstand.
