Chapter 119 Loving You, Day and Night
Gu Yushu lit the large fireworks in the courtyard, walked to Shen Zhen's side, and hugged her tightly.
Large bursts of fireworks exploded overhead, their dazzling, multicolored light blooming like flowers, each shimmering with unique colors and brilliance. They intertwined and twinkled in the night sky, like a grand feast of light and color. The fireworks didn't disappear immediately after their bursts; instead, they trailed long tails as they slowly descended the sky. These tails, like shooting stars, left behind dazzling, shimmering trails.
Shen Zhen tilted her head back and stared intently at the sky, a gentle smile on her lips. The interplay of light and shadow on her face made her look somewhat unreal.
Gu Yushu looked down at the person in his arms, twisting her hair in circles with his fingers. After a long while, he slowly said, "Zhenzhen, we will spend every year together from now on."
A warm feeling welled up in her heart, and memories of their reunion flashed through Shen Zhen's mind. Her A-Shu must have loved her terribly, right? No matter what they had been through, she always wanted to keep her by her side and be with her.
Shen Zhen turned around and snuggled into Gu Yushu's arms, wrapped her arms around her neck, stood on tiptoe and kissed her, "Ashu, I love you, day and night."
Gu Yushu carried Shen Zhen all the way from the courtyard to the house, kissing her as he went. He placed her on the warm carpet. Shen Zhen's eyes were red and filled with tears.

In the backyard of the Gu family's old house, an old man and a child are playing chess.

"Hmm." Grandpa Gu nodded and pointed to Tuantuan. "Tuantuan, go play over there for a bit. Grandpa and Mom have a few words to say."
"Okay!" Tuantuan nodded sensibly, then looked at Grandpa Gu with concern, her little face scrunched up, and she carefully said, "Grandpa, then you mustn't bully my mom!"
Grandpa Gu couldn't help but laugh out loud. Although this little girl was born to Shen Wansheng, she had a spirit very much like someone from the Gu family, and he liked her very much.
Grandpa Gu pinched the little boy's cheek. "Go ahead, don't worry, I won't bully your mother!"
Tuantuan then walked away, turning back every few steps, occasionally glancing up in this direction.
Looking at Tuantuan's concerned face, Grandpa Gu said to Shen Zhen, "I heard that you raised Tuantuan?"
