Who exactly is in Chapter 116?

Lu Manman's heart was pounding, as if she had really found her.

Lu Manman couldn't wait to approach the red berries, picked them all, and put them into her backpack.

I finally got the red berries; I can go back now.

Lu Manman was about to leave when she noticed that there were still many fruits around. Adhering to the principle of "better to pick the wrong ones than to miss any", Lu Manman picked all the ones she could, filling a whole sack.

Lu Manman looked at her harvest with satisfaction; now she could really go home.

Lu Manman hoisted the sack onto her shoulder and happily hurried back.

I don't know how long I walked, but I finally got back to the main road. Fortunately, the road was long but I had plenty of energy, so I didn't feel very tired.

After walking for a very long time, Lu Manman finally saw the safe zone. After arriving at the safe zone, Lu Manman quickly went to the infirmary, put down her backpack and sack, took out a red fruit, and patted Qu Fu, who was covering Chen Hua with a blanket.

He whispered, "Grandpa Qu Fu, do you think this is a red fruit?"

Qu Fu was startled. He turned around and looked at Lu Manman's attire, then at the fruit in her hand, and exclaimed in horror, "You...you went out?"

Lu Manman changed the subject, saying, "Just tell me if it's true or not."

Qu Fu refused to avoid the topic, worried about waking the wounded, and pulled Lu Manman towards the door.

But then he saw two bulging bags, one large and one small, by the door. He glanced at Lu Manman in disbelief, quickened his pace, pulled her out, and carefully closed the door.

He said worriedly, "How could you sneak out like that? Do you know how dangerous it is outside? If anything happens to you, how am I supposed to explain it to everyone? They entrusted you to my care, you can't let anything happen to you under my nose, you still..."

Seeing that he was about to launch into another long speech, Lu Manman quickly interrupted, "Okay, I understand. I'll definitely pay attention in the future. Now, take a look at this fruit." As she spoke, she placed the fruit in Qu Fu's hand, "It smells quite good."

The fruit's fragrance made Qu Fu momentarily stunned. He subconsciously brought the fruit up to his eyes for a closer look. The bright red skin did indeed resemble the red fruit from before, but since so much time had passed, he couldn't be sure.

"Child, you stay here and keep an eye on things, I'll be right back."

Qu Fu left like a gust of wind.

Lu Manman immediately opened the door quietly. Here, if you get injured, besides simple herbs, you can only sleep and rest more.

Chen Hua, Feng Zhi, and Shi Tu are all sleeping now, hoping to recover soon.

Shi Tu and Feng Zhi looked much calmer, but Grandpa Chen Hua's face was deathly pale.

Lu Manman looked at each of them one by one, and then walked to Grandpa Chen Hua's bedside. She looked at Grandpa Chen Hua carefully, and he was visibly weak.

The bandaged area was swollen, and there was a faint smell of decay.

The thought of him leaving soon brought tears to Lu Manman's eyes, and she gently placed her hand on her wound.

[Grandpa Chen Hua, you must get better, you must live. I don't want you to die. I want you to be with us like before...]

Lu Manman kept praying in her heart, completely unaware that a faint light was continuously seeping into the wound on Chen Hua's arm through her fingers.

"Child, where did you find this?" Qu Fu pushed open the door in surprise, followed by a group of people. Everyone had arrived. "I just had it tested. It's not poisonous; it's an edible plant."

They hadn't seen any edible fruit in a long time, and as they spoke, they glanced at the two bulging bags by the door, which were full of fruit that they thought might be edible.

If Chen Hua could eat more of these completely non-toxic fruits, perhaps, just maybe, he could survive.

After their initial fear, the others were stunned by this sudden surprise. How come they hadn't found any fruit after all these years, while the child had only been gone for a short while and brought back such a large pile?

Lu Manman was also very happy to hear this, "That's great, we can eat it when Grandpa Chen Hua wakes up."

As he spoke, he carefully laid out all the fruit, covering almost half the room.

In an instant, the delicate fragrance of fruit filled the entire room.

Several wounded soldiers also slowly woke up.

Perhaps it was because he had taken a nap, but Chen Hua felt much better. "It smells so good!"

"Grandpa Chen Hua, look! Red berries! They're edible! Aren't they the ones you've always wanted to eat?"

Looking at the fruit that Lu Manman presented to him like a treasure, Chen Hua sniffed it carefully. "I don't remember, but this smells very good."

"Then try it quickly." Lu Manman handed the fruit forward a few more times.

Chen Hua naturally took it, put it in his mouth and took a bite, "So sweet!"

The people behind him were shocked. "Chen Hua, your hand?"

Chen Hua paused in his act of biting into the fruit, and exclaimed, "My right hand was the most seriously injured, but now I can't feel it at all, and I can even move it!"

He unconsciously raised his hand a few more times, "My hand seems to be... healed!"

Gu Lin quickly stepped forward, lifted Chen Hua's right hand, and noticed that the bandage on it looked quite loose. He carefully unwrapped it.

The previously deep, bone-revealing wound was completely healed. "How... how could this be?"

The others remained in shock. Zhong Lizhong swallowed hard. "Could it be because of this fruit?"

Qu Fu shook his head. "That shouldn't be the case. His hand was already able to move before he took the fruit."

The others nodded in agreement, then all looked at Qu Fu. Qu Fu was in charge of taking care of Chen Hua today, so…

Qu Fu shuddered. "No, don't look at me like that. I don't have that ability."

That's right, they all know Qu Fu's capabilities. Then everyone looked at Lu Manman.

Lu Manman also shook her head, "It wasn't me, I don't know what happened either."

The group looked at Lu Manman and then at the fruit scattered on the ground. After thinking it over, they still felt that Lu Manman was the most likely candidate.

Gu Lin couldn't help but ask, "Child, what did you do here just now, or what did you see, hear, or smell?"

Lu Manman thought for a moment, "I didn't do anything. I just gently touched Grandpa Chen Hua's injured hand like this, hoping that he can get better soon."

As Lu Manman spoke, she repeatedly touched Chen Hua's other hand, which was wrapped in bandages. "It's impossible for this to work. This is too... frivolous, isn't it?"

When Lu Manman saw Chen Hua waving his left hand again, she hesitated.

Then she couldn't help but widen her eyes. Could it really be her? Upon closer inspection, she noticed that the bandages on her had shrunk even further.

Chen Hua happily swung his arms, "I just felt comfortable all over, and my arm was a little itchy for a moment, then the pain in my hand stopped and I could move it again."

Chen Hua anxiously unwrapped the bandages to check, and the sight of an arm completely healed once again stimulated everyone's nerves.

Everyone looked at Lu Manman in shock. So it really was her; she could heal people with her bare hands.

"Oh my goodness! Child, who are you?"
