Chapter 292

As Lu Yulan listened to Qiu Sha's words, her brows furrowed even deeper. Was Qiu Sha traumatized and experiencing memory loss, or was there something wrong with her memory, or was it something else entirely...?

"Qiusha, you are not. You are perfectly fine."

Qiu Sha gently raised her hand, stopping Lu Yulan from continuing, "Miss Lan, let me finish."

"Sure enough, the giants became increasingly rampant. They thought their power was enough to wipe out the empire. They began to rebel, declare independence, and even hunt humans for playthings and laborers. The empire's tolerance had its limits. The peace was broken, and they began to send troops to suppress them. I remember one of them was a young general, very handsome, and also surnamed Lu."

As Qiu Sha spoke, she glanced at Lu Yulan. As her memory began to return, she looked at Lu Yulan's face again and had a slight recollection of it.

But when she looked up at the sky, she swallowed the words she remembered. "How can fists compete with weapons? I finally wiped out my tribe with my own strength. I took Henry away before the humans attacked. But I was wrong again. He is dead."

Qiu Sha didn't say that Henry wanted to kill her, but she killed him. Before he died, Henry said a lot of things, including the false feelings she had been believing in all those years.

After Henry's death, she stayed alone on Zhihe Star, feeling like she had no will to live. But soon, her abilities awakened.

It turns out that she was not an ordinary giant, but someone who had awakened the most common energy system among humans: spiritual power.

Finally, like a spider, she wove a dream for herself, trapping herself within it. After years of living in a daze, she has finally come to her senses.

At this point, looking at Qiu Sha's ethereal figure, Lu Yulan finally understood something: it was all just a dream.

However, she had no way of judging the world of emotions or the destruction of the giants. No wonder Chi Huo and the others knew so little about Zhihe Star and even said that the giant race was a legend.

The reasons why the Boro stone that Qiusha brought back was not the sculpture mentioned at the beginning, and why the school did not deal with the candidates who died fighting the giants, have all been explained.

“He is dead and gone. If a person is unhappy while alive, he can leave this sad place. Qiu Sha, one cannot be trapped by memories.”

Qiu Sha crouched down to look Lu Yulan in the eye, her dark red eyes piercing straight into the depths of her heart.

"Miss Lan, are you sure you're not lying to please me? Wouldn't I be malicious?"

As Qiu Sha said this, there was a hint of confusion in her eyes. It seemed that she herself doubted herself. A scumbag staying on a planet would probably drive even a normal person crazy, like being exiled.

Lu Yulan placed her small hand on Qiu Sha's hand. "I don't know anything about your past, nor did I witness it myself, and I wasn't involved. I can't be a saint and say you're wrong. The extinction of a race can't be decided by one person. However, I have one good point: I never lie."

"The Qiusha I know is very kind. She has a benevolent heart even towards humans. She is my savior, a guest of my Rose Star, and my friend."

Qiu Sha's dark red eyes rapidly changed, turning into a blood-red color, clear and bright as glass.

"Miss Lan, if only I had met you sooner." Perhaps then she would have had a completely different and wonderful life, but she has already trapped herself to the point of exhaustion.

"Miss Lan, here's a gift for you."
