Chapter 50 The Secret

The veteran prison guards were surprised that Lu Yulan actually chose F494. Was this person really not here to cause trouble?

Over the years, no one has ever chosen to take out criminals whose names start with F.

After thinking about it, he was still unwilling to give up and tried to persuade her.

"Honorable guest, do not be deceived by his appearance. Although prison records cannot be accessed, criminals are coded from A to F, with A being the lightest and F the most serious. Please be cautious, guest."

This means telling Lu Yulan that this person might be a vicious and wicked villain.

Otherwise, it wouldn't be the F-level edge that gets to go.

Sure enough, Lu Yulan saw that the guy dressed entirely in green was only a C-level.

However, Lu Yulan would never listen.

She chuckled softly, "Don't we have the chip? What are you worried about?"

"Let's choose him."

After saying that, she glanced at the man's payment and her heart skipped a beat.

It's ridiculously high, as expected.

It actually costs 100 million.

"Xiaomi, how much money do I have left?"

[Host, 150 million.]

She originally planned to choose a suitable time to return the money to Lu Yuanhong.

But now it seems that time needs to be turned back.

[Host, think it through. He's not the person you're thinking of; he might really be a bad person.]

"I know."

But the human heart is a strange thing; even with a one in a billion chance, she would still want to try.

What if?

She didn't want to suffer the pangs of conscience later.

Moreover, she wanted to take a gamble, betting that this man with such kind eyes, who looked so much like the editor, would reform.

A criminal who can befriend a prison guard must have some redeeming qualities.

"Distinguished guest, are you sure?"

The old prison guard was almost speechless with astonishment.

They thought it was just a little girl throwing a tantrum, but they actually pulled out 100 million interstellar coins.

"Okay, but before I make the payment, I'd like to meet with both of them."

Thinking of the boy's reminder and the middle-aged man's weathered white hair, Lu Yulan still wanted to see him in person.

"Can."

Despite disliking the middle-aged man, the veteran prison guards still managed to bring the two prisoners out of the case, which involved a sum of 100 million.

The man dressed entirely in green actually looked quite handsome, with perfectly proportioned features that were pleasing to the eye, like a spring breeze carrying a natural beauty. However, the excessive green color, along with the bunch of hands behind his back, made him appear somewhat strange to those accustomed to normal aesthetics.

The number was C494. When he saw Lu Yulan, he didn't show any surprise. He just raised his eyelids, glanced at her, nodded, and then silently stood aside, pretending she didn't exist.

When the middle-aged man saw Lu Yulan, there was a slight flicker in his eyes, but he concealed it well.

Lu Yulan didn't notice.

"Hello, my name is Lu Yulan. I hope we can work together in the future."

Lu Yulan extended her right hand and stood in front of the two people.

The man in green remained silent, still standing in the corner, watching Lu Yulan quietly as if scrutinizing her.

Lu Yulan was so embarrassed watching it that she almost had cancer.

The middle-aged man slowly spoke, his hoarse voice soft as he said, "Hello."

But no action was taken.

This inevitably disappointed Lu Yulan; it really wasn't true.

The veteran prison guards didn't care about the awkward atmosphere; after the two parties met, they said, "Guest, come with us to pay."

"They will arrive on your planet tomorrow."

"OK."

Although Lu Yulan was somewhat disappointed, she still went to pay the bill.

After paying, he returned to the two people.

See you tomorrow.

"etc!"

The middle-aged man called out to Lu Yulan.

"What's up?"

"I need to know where Song Zhen went."

Lu Yulan was completely confused; she didn't know Song Zhen.

"Song Zhen is the youngest among these prison guards."

The old prison guard's face darkened when he heard the middle-aged man mention Song Zhen.

"Song Zhen was sick. Now that you're better, you should all go back and prepare to leave tomorrow."

"No, Song Zhen couldn't possibly be sick. What have you done to him?"
