Chapter 25 The Mech That Twists Like a Human

"But we don't need to buy one. I have a basic mech here. Let's go and familiarize ourselves with it first."

As Yoli spoke, he led Yan Jin toward the training room. "What's better here than in reality is that the training room is also virtual. No matter how much you train, it won't damage the room, so you can fight with peace of mind."

The two entered the training room. Yoli released his mecha, a very simple one, a little over 2 meters but less than 3 meters tall, in a simplistic beast-like shape. Yan Jin sat in the pilot's seat, while Yoli stood inside the mecha and began explaining the function of each button: "This connects to the power, this is for the quantum computer, this is..."

Yoli quickly gave his explanation, but after he finished, he realized he had said a bit too much and asked uncertainly, "Did you... remember everything?"

"Okay, I've got it." Yan Jin nodded.

Yori was surprised. He had not only explained all the switches on the mech, but also how to operate it and how to use it in battle.

Did she really remember? Yoli asked uncertainly, "Repeat it."

"This is the power supply, and this is..." Yan Jin said slowly.

Yori's eyes widened slowly. Although he didn't remember every word, he spoke clearly and distinctly. He had memorized it completely.

"You, try operating the mecha yourself. Don't rush, just get used to it." Yori stepped aside and closed the mecha door.

"Okay." Yan Jin nodded, her eyes slightly narrowed, and pressed the power switch.

Yoli stood in the transparent training room safe house, watching Yan Jin's mecha slowly move its hands and feet through the transparent safety shield.

The movements were very mechanical, sluggish, and stiff, yet they moved slowly, as if someone were getting used to their new body.

Gradually, the mecha's movements became more proficient, walking normally like a person, bending over, moving its neck, kicking its legs, and bending over backward.

Yori's eye twitched; it was the first time he had ever seen a mech perform such movements.

It's not that mechs can't perform these actions, but orcs piloting mechs, once they can move, immediately engage in combat, exchanging powerful blows, and if they lose, they try again. But I've never seen a human piloting a mech like this before…

Yes, that's humane.

Then he imagined a pretty little girl doing these actions, and Yori felt a slight pain in his eyes.

Yoli opened his personal terminal and clicked on Yan Jin's video call. As soon as Yan Jin answered, Yoli said, "You've mastered the most basic operations. Do you want to try fighting against the lowest-level mech?"

"good."

"I clicked on it..."

Yoli taught Yan Jin how to operate the mecha, and Yan Jin operated it herself. An identical mecha appeared opposite Yan Jin's mecha.

The opposing mech launched the first attack, and the two mechs instantly clashed.

The action looked like it was in slow motion to Yori, who was watching from the sidelines, but seeing the two mechs fighting to a standstill, Yori nodded in satisfaction.

For someone who has never been in contact with mechs before, being able to do this much on the first mech pilot is already ahead of most people, far better than many of the students in his mech department when they first came into contact with mechs.

Operating a mecha requires not only physical strength, but also mental strength and elemental power. Otherwise, the mecha will drain your mental strength. Therefore, the requirements for students entering the mecha department are very high.

Gradually, Yori's expression began to become more serious.
