Chapter 7: Si Yuling, More Composed and Profound

So after Xiaobai showed its claws, the others, although they disliked the pretty little human behind it, did not dare to come up and cause trouble.

By the end of the day, the two of them had collected the most trash of all the people, and they went home before it got dark.

Back home, Yan Jin and her companion quickly took a shower. Just as they finished getting ready, a sudden burst of bright light from the back window blinded them. Once the light subsided and became less glaring, they saw a huge airship parked there.

Yan Jin stretched out her hand, and a sharp sword appeared in her hand. She opened the window, climbed out, and just as she approached the airship, Si Yuling stepped out of the airship. The moment Yan Jin saw Si Yuling, she sheathed her sword and looked at him with a puzzled expression.

Si Yuling also saw Yan Jin standing in front of the airship with a wary expression. A smile flashed in his eyes as he looked helplessly at the little girl and said in a low voice, "It's me."

"You've found your people." Yan Jin looked at the group of people who walked out behind him.

"Okay." Si Yuling nodded, "Let me introduce you."

Si Yuling stood still, with six people standing behind him, all in crisp military uniforms. Although not all of them were exceptionally handsome, they were all strong and capable, neatly dressed and clean, and had a resolute and extraordinary appearance, and were not ugly.

It's that kind of person who's full of a sense of justice and makes you like them.

There was also an older gentleman whose eyes burned with desire when he saw Yan Jin.

Si Yuling introduced them one by one: "This is my adjutant Ace, this is Major Ke Ren, Technical Colonel Xi Mu, Mechanic Xing Ren, Military Doctor Gu Xiaotian, and this is the botanist Love Griffiths."

Si Yuling introduced them one by one, and each person smiled kindly at Yan Jin. Si Yuling then said, "This is Yan Jin."

Luo Fu was the most excited among them. He immediately stepped forward, grasped Yan Jin's hand, and said in a slightly trembling voice, "Hello, you can just call me Luo Fu. I'm so happy to see you."

Yan Jin smiled and said, "Hello, it's nice to meet you."

After Yan Jin finished speaking, she looked at Si Yuling, who immediately replied, "I invited them all. There's no need to prepare accommodations or food for them. There are many rooms on the airship. They will stay on the airship. They are all my trusted confidants. You can let them do whatever you want. There will be absolutely nothing that shouldn't be leaked to others."

Yan Jin suddenly realized, nodded, narrowed her eyes slightly, and said in a slightly cold voice, "You know everything about me, but I know nothing about you. Shouldn't you tell me who you are?"

Upon hearing this, the others exchanged glances. Though they remained silent, their eyes held a mocking glint. The marshal hadn't yet gained this human child's approval; look at that, heh heh…

Si Yuling wasn't angry at Yan Jin's cold expression; instead, he smiled, and his youthful face changed in an instant.

His face seemed unchanged, yet it gradually matured and became more composed, possessing a unique charm that comes with the passage of time. His already handsome features became more defined, and his eyes and brows deepened slightly. The smiles on his face seemed to have faded a bit.

You can tell at a glance that it's still the same person, looking like he looks a few years later—one as a student, and the other as he looks after gaining work experience.

Although different, they are equally handsome, with an added sense of composure, reliability, and sharpness.
