I quite liked Chapter 155.

A cup of milk tea seemed to revive them both, and their previously exhausted bodies felt as if they had regained a bit of strength.

Sure enough, when people are tired or in a bad mood, drinking something sweet can definitely help them recover and replenish their blood sugar.

As the two were comfortably leaning back in their chairs, lazily sipping their milk tea, Si Yuling entered.

Seeing the two girls' expressions, he chuckled and extended his long, slender hand in front of Yan Jin, his deep, pleasant voice tinged with laughter, "I wonder if there's any of this delicious milk tea for me?"

Looking at those beautiful, large hands, Yan Jin couldn't bring herself to refuse. She took out a cup of milk tea from her own space and handed it to the large hand, saying, "Drink up."

"Hmm." Si Yuling nodded, not in a hurry for Yan Jin to treat him, and sat down to drink his milk tea as well.

Yun Duo stared incredulously at Si Yuling, who took a big gulp of milk tea, swallowed it, and then softened his expression. Her eyes widened in disbelief. "Brother? You're drinking something sweet?"

"It tastes pretty good. Yan Jin made it well too. I like it." Si Yuling said in a deep voice with a slight smile, as if he were confessing his love.

Yan Jin scratched her itchy ear, telling herself that she was overthinking things. How could that be? The person just said the milk tea was delicious, and didn't say anything else. She was just imagining things.

Si Yuling looked at Yan Jin, then at his younger sister. Although he didn't say anything, Yun Duo understood his meaning.

So Yun Duo immediately stood up with the milk tea and said to Yan Jin, "Yan Jin, please treat my brother first. I still have a paper to submit, so I'll go back and write it first. You can go back by yourself later."

“Okay, go ahead.” Yan Jin nodded in agreement, without suspecting anything.

After watching Yun Duo skip away with her milk tea, she took two more big sips of the milk tea before saying to Si Yuling, "Stretch out your hand."

Si Yuling extended his hand, and Yan Jin touched his wrist, feeling the pulse beating beneath her hand, once, twice.

After a while, Yan Jin stopped. "There's much less poison than the previous two days. A few more treatments and it will be fine."

Si Yuling's poison is different from other people's poisons. Other people's poisons are all natural animal toxins, but Si Yuling's poison is human and is a mixture of several poisons.

Yan Jin thought for a moment, then asked Si Yuling, "Do your parents have any enemies? The poison in your body was probably given to you when you were very young, and it's a mixture of several poisons, so it's more difficult to cure than ordinary poisons."

"Hmm." Si Yuling nodded, his eyes slightly cold. "The person who poisoned her and the mastermind behind her are all dead, but the poison cannot be cured, and they don't have the antidote, so they can only drag it out."

Fortunately, because the poison suppresses another poison—a mutually reinforcing and restraining relationship—it doesn't affect me much, and going to the battlefield won't be a problem.

Hearing Si Yuling's explanation, Yan Jin nodded. No wonder he could still go to the battlefield and serve as a marshal. He used his brain more often than he used his strength.

Sometimes, to command a war, he may not need to go to the front lines at all.

"Alright, take off your clothes, let's begin," Yan Jin said after feeling somewhat relieved.

"Okay." Si Yuling took off his clothes again, revealing his muscular upper body, and lay down on the treatment bed next to him.

His fair skin and well-defined muscle texture were beautiful.
