Chapter 50: Saving Little Brother Su (2/2)

Su He pulled Su Xiaodi aside and whispered, "Little brother, I want to criticize you for not having a high enough level of ideological awareness! You don't always maintain a high level of vigilance!"

Hearing Su He say this, Su Xiaodi straightened his back instantly, like a student being scolded by the dean: "Sister... Sister, I'm listening to you all, but please don't report me!"

Su He: "I won't report you. Do you want to become an official? Maybe you can get a job in town after becoming an official!"

Little Brother Su: "Sister, I dream of having a stable job! But I only graduated from junior high school and failed the college entrance examination several times! I... I'm not as smart as you and your three sisters... What do you want me to do? Just tell me!"

Su He: "Well, go report that out-of-town driver. Go directly to the city and report to the police. Don't go to the Revolutionary Committee! Just say that you found out that someone wants to ask you about your brother-in-law because he is from a security unit!"

Su He taught Su Xiaodi a set of rhetoric to distance himself from the matter and to elaborate on his own ideological awareness. His brother-in-law worked in a security unit, so as his only brother-in-law, he had to remain highly vigilant at all times. He might be targeted by the enemy's sugar-coated bullets...

The more Su Xiaodi listened, the more excited he became. He wished he could fly over and report it immediately.

Su He thought that this out-of-town driver was probably trying to molest Su's younger brother. Fortunately, she arrived in time. This was just a young man who had never seen the world. This younger brother was 21 years old today, two years younger than her.

Su He thought for a moment and said, "How about this, think about it again, you really didn't say anything about your brother-in-law?"

Little Brother Su frowned and thought for a while: "Sister, I may have said something I shouldn't have said!"

Su He: "What did you say? Don't hide it from me!"

"I was bragging about the family you married, and your mother-in-law is a teacher!" Su Xiaodi was very embarrassed, "I said your mother-in-law is a teacher in Liancheng City!"

"Besides this?"

"There's nothing else to say, I really haven't said anything! I swear!" The way Su Xiaodi swore made Su Li next to him notice something was wrong.

Su Li: "What are you talking about? The car is coming, I can even see its shadow! Come over here quickly!"

Su Xiaodi touched his nose and looked at Su He and said, "Sister, I really don't have anything else to say!"

Su He nodded: "Okay, then you come with us to report it, otherwise you can just jump into the sea! To avoid getting your family into trouble!"

Su Xiaodi greeted Su Li calmly and said that he was going to see his sister and her family off, as there were too many children and he was worried about carrying their belongings.

When Su He saw Su Xiaodi getting on the car, he finally believed that Su Xiaodi probably really hadn't had time to say anything!

The Su He family boarded a long-distance bus, and Su Li and his three daughters waved goodbye from behind.

Su He felt a little uncomfortable, wondering if this emotion came from the original owner.

The subsequent development basically followed Su He's settings.

When Jin Weiguo saw Su Xiaodi coming to see them off, he felt strange at first. Later, he said that he was going to report to the police. So he asked Su Xiaodi to go home with them first, deliver the things to their home, and then accompany him to the police station.

Su He's mother and her three children returned home. Jin Weiguo and Su Xiaodi put down two large baskets of clams, some snails, anemones, etc., washed their hands, and went out together.

Teacher Wu found a large basin to hold the clams, poured water into it, and let the clams spit out the sand.

She picked up the remaining half of the clams, said something to Su He, and gave it to Tong Li.

The three children chattered to their grandmother about how many clams they had picked up at the beach at noon. Xiaobao also joined in the fun. She understood what her two brothers were saying and clapped her hands happily: "Grandma! Grandma! Brother, brother! So many clams!"

Teacher Wu didn't understand at first, but Su He understood Xiaobao's childish words and acted as an interpreter.

Teacher Wu hugged Xiaobao and kissed him: "Oh, our Xiaobao knows everything, he is such a smart kid!"

The little baby laughed “giggle giggle”!

Su He cleaned up and bathed the three children, and Teacher Wu was there to help.
