He's very honest and seems quite well-behaved.
"Oh, so it was him." Old Li first realized, then was surprised. "Why did you bring him here?"
“He’s already joined the army, he’s a good person,” Fang Rong explained with a smile.
"Oh." Old Li was relieved.
He had worked as a zookeeper for a long time and naturally knew how powerful the experimental subjects were. Although he knew that Fang Hua had joined the army, the way he looked at Fang Hua was still somewhat different.
That's what ordinary people should have, but Fang Rong still felt a little uncomfortable and didn't want to stay long. He exchanged a few polite words and then moved his things away.
Old Li seemed to have known they were coming back to move their things, so he had packed everything up for them in advance, saving the two of them the trouble of moving things and allowing them to leave directly.
Although Fang Rong had been working for a long time, he didn't actually have much stuff. He only needed two changes of clothes, since he usually wore work clothes. So, in total, he only had two suitcases, and he and Fang Hua each carried one downstairs.
Because it was a bit full, the plastic piggy bank on top fell out, and some coins fell out.
He put down his things, picked them up, and as he was putting them back into the cardboard box, he suddenly realized something was missing: his diary. Because it was hidden well, Old Li probably hadn't found it. He had been in a hurry to leave and had overlooked it, but now he suddenly remembered it.
"Keep an eye on things for me while I go back to get something." Fang Rong was a little worried. "The sun is too strong here, why don't you go hide under that tree over there?"
"Okay." Fang Hua nodded obediently and watched Fang Rong leave. He glanced at the ground, which seemed a little dirty and might soil Fang Rong's suitcase.
He placed the box he was holding on top of the box on the ground, then hugged both of them to his arms. After removing the box, he saw some coins on the ground, which belonged to Fang Hua. He couldn't let anyone pick them up, so he stepped on them.
The sun was blazing, its direct rays making people restless. When Fang Rong returned, he saw him standing foolishly in the sunlight, waiting for him under the scorching sun.
"You idiot, didn't I tell you to hide under that tree over there?"
Fang Hua moved his foot away, revealing the coin underneath. "Fang Rong's."
Fang Rong was taken aback. "It's just one yuan, it's not that big of a deal."
"Fang Rong's."
"How stupid."
"Fang Rong's."
"Okay, mine."
