Chapter 36 Dinner

The feeling was so strange that Fang Rong didn't dare to think about it too much. She quickly found something to do, washing dishes and pots and doing all the housework she could. After finishing, she got bored again and couldn't help but start to have random thoughts.

Actually, if you think about it carefully, Fang Hua is pretty good. Although he is too strong to be easily overthrown, he is the kind of person who doesn't care much about superiors or subordinates. If he works hard, he might actually become the one on top.

Actually, he does have a slight advantage, for example, he is taller than Fang Hua. In movies, it's usually the taller one who's the dominant one, not the shorter one. They can't even get close to each other.

He always felt that as long as Fang Hua stopped growing taller, he would have a chance to become the dominant one.

Of course, this is on the premise that he really stops growing taller. You know, orcs grow incredibly fast, almost changing every day, so it seems unrealistic for them not to grow taller.

Therefore, Fang Rong paid 100% attention to his height, measuring him every day after meals, for fear that he might accidentally grow taller than her.

Fortunately, Fang Hua's height has remained the same, whether due to congenital deficiencies or lack of growth, and he can still look down on him. This is Fang Rong's biggest advantage at present.

If he wanted to kiss Fang Hua, he could just bend down and kiss her, but if Fang Hua wanted to kiss him, she would have to stand on tiptoe. Thinking about this, he immediately felt a great sense of superiority.

Fang Rong was quite satisfied with his current situation. He had companions, money, and a place to live. The only thing that made him unhappy was the military region. He had developed a psychological trauma from it. He originally wanted to quit, but when he thought about how hard it was to find a job outside, and how he had developed superpowers and would gradually catch up and become awesome sooner or later, he didn't quit. Naturally, he was still at the bottom of the list.

Fortunately, he made rapid progress. After gaining superpowers, his body became better and better. Before, he would feel dizzy after doing a few push-ups, but now he can do dozens without any problem.

It's good that you've made progress.

I'm afraid that after being at the bottom for so long, there's still no progress.

He won't leave, and there's nothing anyone can do. They've tried everything – talking to him one by one – but nothing worked. Now they have to use force, and they've put in a lot of effort to get rid of him.

Fang Rong understood. In the past, the elite soldiers were the best in the team and their salary was twice that of others. Moreover, they basically did not have to clean up like ordinary soldiers, at most once at the beginning and end of the month.

Since he arrived, the average score has plummeted, dragging the team down. Now, not only has his salary decreased, but he also has to spend an extra hour cleaning every day.

After all, they are not relatives or friends, and there is not even any relation between them. It would be unfair for anyone to make them suffer the same punishment.

But the military has no choice; everyone is part of a group, and a group is about sharing both good times and bad. If you don't learn the essence of that, you can't survive in the military.

Fortunately, Fang Rong's condition is getting better and better. Her data is rising every day, and gradually the team is no longer in last place. She can now compete with the second to last team.

Such progress is still unsatisfactory, so others will still ostracize and bully him from time to time. If it were the old Fang Rong, there would be nothing he could do but try to avoid it.

But now that he has suddenly gained superpowers, he no longer intends to avoid them, because the more he avoids them, the more people will look down on him.

They used to talk about him behind his back, but now they call him a coward to his face.

Bang! A basketball hit him in the chest. Da Sheng beckoned to him with his finger, "Come and play together, we're all here."

He suffered a setback with Fang Hua and couldn't help but want to get his revenge on Fang Rong. There was nothing he could do; he couldn't beat Fang Hua, and Fang Hua's stats were slowly improving, almost able to compete with the veterans, or even surpass them, putting considerable pressure on them. Naturally, no one would provoke him.

"Okay." Fang Rong caught the basketball and threw it over. He was a complete homebody and rarely did any sports, let alone basketball, so naturally he didn't know how to play basketball.

Although I've never eaten pork, I've seen it before. "I don't know how to fight, so you have to be lenient with me."

"Sure, sure." Their focus wasn't on playing basketball, and they agreed without hesitation.

Basketball is played in groups of five, with one person serving as captain. Including substitute players, there are a maximum of seven players. They are just testing their skills and there aren't many rules, so there are only ten players in total.

Fang Rong was assigned to the jumping player class. He was not athletic to begin with and didn't know how to play basketball. He tried to get the ball several times but failed. Instead, he was called "useless" by others, which made his fingertips tremble and affected his mood, making it even harder for him to get the ball.

Each player has four fouls. Fang Rong didn't realize it at first, but after being repeatedly knocked down, he realized that these people were still persistent and wanted to get rid of him.

Why?

Fang Rong was unwilling to accept this, and her face turned red with anger, her chest heaving violently.

He's clearly tried so hard, is it that he can't see it, or that he doesn't want to see it?

"Fang Rong, I'm talking to you. What are you standing there for? Come over here and take the free throw."

Fang Rong stared at the basketball hoop, lost in thought. Her mind was a jumble of emotions. "Since you won't let me go, then I won't let you go either!"

There is no such thing as hatred or kindness without a cause. He felt that he was a burden to them and kept backing down, but not only did it not work, it made them even more aggressive and think he was easy to bully.

Fang Hua and he entered at the same time, and not only were they not bullied, but they were also flattered by everyone. In the end, it all comes down to their strength.

He now has the ability.

"Here it comes." He ran to the free-throw line, gripped the basketball with both hands, and threw it out.

Bang!

The basketball flew in a beautiful arc and slammed into the hoop.

One point from the free throws, two points in total, two points if both are made, possession is given to the opponent.

Fang Rong scored both goals. He was originally a rookie, but he suddenly displayed amazing skill, which amazed everyone, including his own teammates.
