Chapter 61 Anti-theft [Chapter 62 is available]

He was incredibly strong; he kicked the entire door off with one kick, revealing the living room.

This area belongs to white-collar workers, and the families are middle-class. Most of them have two bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, and one bathroom. We can rule out the bathroom. We also looked at one bedroom, but no one was there. Now, only the kitchen and the other bedroom are left.

Few children know how to cook, so he went to another bedroom. The smoke grew thicker, flames licked at the flammable materials, the light flickered, and finally burned out with a hiss, plunging the surroundings into darkness.

The faint, gradually weakening cries of a child echoed, making it impossible to pinpoint their exact location.

It would be troublesome if they hid it.

He is a superhuman, and a multi-talented one at that, including fire-based abilities, so he is not afraid of fire. Fire itself is not scary; what is scary is the embers left after a fire has burned.

Like a candle, the outer flame can be touched at will, but the inner fuse hurts if touched.

He wasn't afraid of fire, but he was afraid of matches that had been burning inside and had fallen down, still hot, and would hurt terribly if they hit him.

Fang Hua kicked open the kitchen door and was surprised to find the child squatting on the ground, holding a wet towel and covering his nose.

Surprisingly, he was quite resourceful, knowing to perform first aid. Not bad at all.

He admired the child, so instead of roughly throwing him down, he gently picked him up and jumped down.

Fang Rong was already waiting downstairs. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that he was safe and sound. It had been too dangerous just now.

He was constantly on edge, afraid that he would regret it for the rest of his life if Fang Hua didn't get out.

"Thank goodness, I'm glad you're alright."

Fang Hua turned around, revealing the wound on his back, "I just got hit."

His back was a bloody mess, burned black, and the surrounding skin was patched together with many blisters.

Fang Rong gasped, "How could it be so serious?"

Fortunately, he was no longer a novice. He even shed tears when he first saw Fang Hua injured. He had experienced too much in the past year and had grown a lot.

"Put the child down quickly, we're going to the hospital."

"Mmm." The child, who had been nestled obediently in his arms, was put down and tugged at his sleeve, asking reluctantly, "Brother, what's your name?"

Fang Hua smiled but didn't say anything. He pulled back his sleeve and walked away with Fang Rong.

They only said they didn't want to go to the hospital when no one was around.

In his view, this was just a minor injury that would heal in a few days. As long as he didn't move and it wasn't caused by any supernatural power, he could basically recover in a day or two. His recovery ability was astonishing.

"Then we need to apply some medicine." He pulled Fang Hua around to look for a hospital, the kind that's a public hospital, and it was very crowded, with long queues.

Fang Rong pointed to Fang Hua's back and explained to the doctor, "This injury is very serious. Can you make an appointment for us first?"

Fortunately, there were more kind people than strangers; someone voluntarily gave up their spot for them and let them go first.

The nurses were very humane; they had already arranged for him to have disinfection and medication applied, and Fang Rong paid for it and they took care of it for him.

Burns cannot be bandaged, but a cooling ointment has been applied. Because he was afraid of touching the wound, he couldn't even wear a shirt. In the summer, there are many mosquitoes if he doesn't wear clothes, and mosquitoes kept coming up behind him, but Fang Rong chased them away.

Considering the severity of the wound, he decided to stay and take care of Fang Hua.

He was far more competent than Fang Hua, taking care of everything from meals and clothing to hair washing.

Because he had just come from the fire scene, he was covered in black soot, and his hair was dyed black; he needed to wash it.

Fang Hua was shirtless, with injuries to his front and back, so he could only sit on the hospital bed with an IV drip in his right hand. He would touch the IV needle from time to time, but Fang Rong slapped him, forcing him to obediently withdraw his hand.

"Did he tell the instructor?" Knowing his personality, he definitely didn't, otherwise he wouldn't have gone on the mission injured.

"Hmm." Fang Hua was probably bored, so he pulled out the built-in games on his personal computer and started playing Tetris.

It has to be said that although this game is old-fashioned, it seems to have become the norm, and every game has this feature.

"Hmm, did you say it or not?" Fang Rong hated his perfunctory attitude.

"He didn't say." Fang Hua stared at the screen without looking up.

"If you haven't said anything, why don't you hurry up and say it?"

"I won't say."

"Why?" Fang Rong asked, puzzled.

"Two hundred instructors who get an A+ rating each month will be rewarded with a mech." He counted on his fingers, "Only five people in the entire elite corps have one."

"You can't risk your life for a mecha!" Fang Rong snapped. "Why don't you know how to take care of yourself?"

"Cherish me." Fang Hua looked up at him. "Fang Rong cherishes me."

"What nonsense are you spouting?" Fang Rong didn't want to admit it. "It's because nobody cares about you or loves you."

"Yes, only Fang Rong loves me." Fang Hua agreed and went back to playing games.

His fingers were quite nimble, and he performed high-difficulty moves at an incredible speed. Fang Rong felt dizzy just watching him.

But thinking about mechs is quite exciting. Mechs are very expensive and often unavailable. Ordinary people can only buy civilian mechs, the kind that can't carry cannons, but military mechs have many functions.

Various rocket launchers, incredibly powerful, I heard they can perform all sorts of difficult maneuvers, such as flips, high jumps, and flying.

How many A+ grades have you gotten so far?

"65, and today there's an A++, so if we make 50 A's, it'll be double."

"So how many As did you get?"

“One.” If Fang Rong hadn’t asked him to do this, he probably wouldn’t have gotten this A. It’s too difficult to collect fifty A’s. He tried the month before last and didn’t get it, but he did get the reward.
