"There's nothing I can do about it, that's just how amazing I am."
Fang Rong leaned against the wall, "Let me in quickly."
He had an injury on his buttock that made him stand for so long.
"Oh, oh." Fang Hua finally realized what was happening, tossed the teddy bear aside, and hugged him. "Is your backside badly hurt?"
"How should I know? I can't see it." Here we go again.
"Then let me take a look for you." He carried Fang Rong to the bed and eagerly started to pry open his buttocks.
"Don't hit me, or I'll get angry." This wasn't the first time he'd said this.
Fang Hua usually looks first and then kneels down on his own initiative. Today was no exception. He quickly pushed him down and his fingers deftly squeezed into his buttocks.
"There's a little bit of blood, it's not serious." Because of a drug allergy, I didn't dare apply any medicine and just left it to dry.
"You've finished looking at it, why aren't you letting go?" Fang Rong shifted further into the bed. "Go give me a bear hug."
He wanted to sleep face down today, but it was uncomfortable without anything underneath him, and luckily the bear was big and soft.
"Oh." Fang Hua got out of bed to hug the bear. The bear was very big, more than two meters long. He had already opened the plastic bag packaging, and inside was a baby bear wearing a pink dress, which looked more like a girl.
Moreover, it perfectly matches Fang Hua's aesthetic sense; he likes teddy bears wearing pink dresses, or at least brightly colored ones.
Was this bought for him or for me?
Fang Rong was a little unhappy, so she hugged the bear and lay down inside. The bear took up a lot of space, leaving only a small area. Fortunately, Fang Hua was relatively thin, and he also liked to sleep with the bear. His hands and thighs were wrapped around the bear, which was just right.
"How many tasks did you complete today?" He had Fang Hua set off early in the morning and not return until evening, so today's harvest should be quite good.
"Completed six tasks, one of which was an A+."
"Huh?" Fang Rong was quite surprised. He knew that Jia's basic tasks were not particularly difficult, but rather doing good deeds beyond the scope of the task, such as rescuing an extra person, like that child that day. It was outside of his task, but doing it was a good deed.
"We should definitely do more good deeds. I suspect the instructors aren't testing us on the number of tasks, but rather on the number of A+ grades." Why do I have this suspicion?
The main reason was that the instructors understood Fang Hua's personality. He was the type who thrived on chaos and was inherently cold-blooded and indifferent, and would never do good deeds on his own initiative.
Soldiers are just weapons for enforcing the law; they have very little personal emotion. When the instructor gave the order to do two hundred tasks, everyone probably only heard about the tasks but ignored the A+ grade, because it's very difficult to achieve.
Moreover, the focus is on the task, but since a+ has been set, a+ must be useful.
Fang Rong suddenly remembered that when the instructors started the assessment, the questions they asked were mostly diversionary tactics.
For example, after Xiaoming kills someone and flees, there are three paths in front of him: one path has bicycles, one path has people, and one path has a forest. Which path does he choose?
Everyone eagerly answered, but the instructor later asked Xiaoming why he killed someone.
This was incredibly awkward; not a single one of them could answer.
Later, with experience, he listened carefully to all aspects. Fang Hua didn't like to think and might not understand the intricacies of the situation. If Fang Rong didn't think more for him, things would probably be over.
They were getting further and further away from the mecha.
"I see." Fang Hua didn't think about anything and did whatever he was told.
His appearance is just like the old saying goes: a boorish man is not fit for a refined manner.
"If there are any A+ tasks in the future, be sure to rush to complete them," Fang Rong specifically instructed him. "Of course, we can't neglect the regular tasks either. We should complete both of them before turning in the task."
Although this might be a bit slower, it's better than missing out. If it's slower, there's still hope of getting the mecha; if you miss out, you'll have nothing left.
"There must be quite a few people who have figured out the secrets of it all. You need to hurry up." There are also many smart people in the military region. People like Dasheng, who are impulsive and prone to making mistakes, are ultimately a minority.
He was taken advantage of without even realizing it. When he was in the military region, he was a burden to everyone. I'm sure many people wanted him to leave, but most of them just tried to persuade him. Only that idiot Dasheng took the initiative to make things difficult for him.
Thinking back on it now, I'm still angry. It wasn't his choice. If he could, he would have wanted to develop superpowers sooner and catch up with everyone else, but he wasn't given any chance at all. I really want to curse him.
Fang Rong took a deep breath, trying not to get angry. At least the lesson from the Great Sage had made him much more cautious now, and he would consider all aspects carefully.
Whether it has implicated others or not, the advantages and disadvantages are clear, and it has become a habit, an indispensable part of life, and will continue in the future.
"Did you bring any food?" He hadn't eaten lunch all day and was starving. "I'm a little hungry."
Fang Hua blinked. "No."
He forgot that Fang Rong hadn't eaten yet; due to his limited mobility, even eating had become a problem.
"Never mind if there's nothing, I won't eat." Going hungry for two meals won't kill you, and Fang Hua is tired too, having been out all day.
"oh."
"Go to sleep." Fang Rong used her superpower to turn off the light, closed her eyes, and went to sleep. Once she was asleep, she didn't feel hungry anymore.
"Hmm." The sound of clothes rustling came from the darkness. He thought Fang Hua must be asleep, but the teddy bear suddenly felt lighter. Fang Hua had been lying on it, and it had shrunk down. Now he reached out to touch it, but found nothing.
"Fang Hua." He called out, and used his supernatural power to turn on the light. There was no one by the bed, and the window was wide open. Fang Hua jumped down.
"Where are you going?" Fang Rong quickly got up, forgetting about the injury on his buttocks. Another wave of pain hit him, and he had no choice but to obediently lie back down.
