Chapter 76 Anti-theft [Chapter 77 is available]

The big head rested beneath him, incredibly considerate.

Fang Rong pinched his cheek, "So you do know how to care about me now?"

Fang Hua licked him and then bent down to let him come up to her. Fang Rong couldn't take it anymore and didn't force him.

Since they're staying at someone else's house, they should at least show some respect; they can't just be useless.

Three vehicles arrived at night, and after unloading, everyone scrambled to collect the loot. It took about three hours to collect one sack. The little boy, who was small, collected two sacks by himself, while Fang Rong and Fang Hua only managed to collect one sack together.

The two of them are too small to do anything about it, and the problem is that Fang Hua can only make things worse. He just finished picking things up on one side, and then Fang Hua messed them up on the other side. Fortunately, he is obedient enough to lie still when told to.

The items that could be sold were mostly electronics, books, cardboard, and some bottles and jars. The little boy had picked up a dirty bear and brought it back, along with some leftover fried bread and spoiled canned food, all of which smelled bad but he ate them with great relish.

Fang Rong could not imagine such a life. Although he was poor and discriminated against, at least he lived in the city center, had enough to eat and wear, did not need to pick up trash, and the state would take care of his life until he was sixteen. He received a living allowance and book fee every month. Although it was a bit tight, he could survive.

After he turned sixteen, he was able to do some simple work on his own. Because he was good at studying, he could also do some tutoring, help others with homework, essays, and exams. He tried every way he could to make money.

"Let's go back." Perhaps because he had a good day, the little boy was a little happy, carrying a bag in his left hand and a bag in his right.

Before leaving, he called out to Fang Rong. Fang Rong nodded, said goodbye to the other children, and mentioned that today's events should be kept secret and not told to anyone, otherwise she would not grow tall.

The children nodded one by one, but what they were thinking was anyone's guess. At least the reminder wouldn't spread everywhere.

It's impossible to keep it completely secret; it's just a psychological effect.

The bag the boy was carrying was stomped on repeatedly to make it solid; it was actually quite heavy, but he seemed used to it and carried it with ease.

He's in pretty good shape and has some basic skills.

Perhaps I could teach him some self-defense techniques.

Fang Rong has never been to the slums, but he has heard of them. They are said to be the dirtiest, most chaotic, and most crime-prone places, where hundreds of people die and are born every day.

Some fugitive terrorists who have committed capital crimes hide in slums, waiting for an opportunity to strike a fatal blow.

It's hard to imagine how he, a teenager, has survived to this day.

Fang Rong put the other bag on Fang Hua's back. Although this bag was smaller, he still couldn't carry it and needed Fang Hua's help.

The two of them worked together without getting tired. Although Fang Hua's body had shrunk, he was still very strong and could carry a bag of things without any problem.

However, his small stature was completely covered by the sack, and his eyes could not be seen. He needed Fang Rong to lead him around.

After walking for an unknown distance, the little boy finally called out, "We've arrived home."

Calling it a home is an understatement; it's more like a tattered tent, surrounded by cardboard. He was clever enough to boil the cardboard in water and then paste it into the gaps, which kept it warm in winter and hot in summer.

It was stuffy and hot inside.

"Fang Hua, ice cubes."

Fang Hua opened his mouth and sprayed, and a thin layer of ice immediately accumulated on the ground, and the temperature in the room dropped sharply.

Fang Rong patted his head as a reward, a gesture Fang Hua loved most. He tilted his head back as if enjoying it, letting Fang Rong scratch his neck as well.

Fang Rong's hands are small now, and it was quite tiring to scratch them one by one, so she quickly asked the little boy for help. The little boy also liked Fang Hua, so he scratched her hands for her.

"You guys are amazing!" the little boy exclaimed, looking at them with admiration. "You're even more amazing than gods!"

“There are many people more capable than us.” Fang Rong didn’t dare to take credit. “The outside world is full of people and things beyond our reach, much more powerful than you think.”

"Really?" The little boy was a little excited, but also a little sad. "I'm afraid I'll never get out of here and will die in the slums."

"Don't say that," Fang Rong comforted him. "The sky is as big as your heart. If your heart is only as big as the slums, you will naturally only grow old and die in the slums. If your heart is bigger than the sky, you can naturally contain the sky."

"The sky is as big as your heart?" The little boy was confused for a moment.

"Yes." Fang Rong nodded. "You may not understand the meaning now, but you will in the future."

"Oh." The little boy nodded obediently.

"By the way, what's your name?" Fang Rong asked curiously.

"Me?" The little boy's voice sounded a little disappointed. "I don't have a name. Everyone calls me Dog Egg."

Fang Rong shook his head. "If you really want to go out into the world in the future, this name definitely won't work." He thought for a moment and then carved two characters on the ice with a knife. "Feitian, you think that's all you'll be called? I wish you soaring to the sky."

"Okay." Feitian smiled. "I like the name Feitian."

"If you like it, that's good." Fang Rong tried to push Fang Hua away, but Fang Hua pulled him into his arms, resting his chin on Fang Rong's head. He was so heavy that it was almost impossible to move him.

His strength was still too light for Fang Hua. Fang Hua was unharmed, but he was exhausted and couldn't push him away.

"Never mind." Fang Rong gave up, deciding to let him have some fun.

Inside Feitian's house was a simple bed made of wooden planks, which was quite large. He slept inside and patted the outside to let a cat and a person get on.

Fang Rong stood up and walked to the wooden plank. Although the plank was already quite low, it was still very high for him, and he could barely reach the edge with both hands.
