"Then I won't make a fuss anymore." Fang Hua quieted down, seemingly genuinely ceasing her antics.
He stayed there for two days and was even less used to it than Fang Rong. Every day, without Fang Rong to hug him or look at him, he felt as lonely as snow.
If Fang Rong hadn't taken the initiative to suspect him, he might not have thought of such a good idea. He's really hit the jackpot; he'll get to be hugged by Fang Rong every day from now on.
"I love watching you court death!" Fang Hua had only been behaving himself for a short while when he put his hand on his butt again.
"I'll just leave it there," Fang Hua said righteously, "to protect you."
"..." Put your hands on your buttocks to protect yourself?
Fang Hua's excuse was so lame that he couldn't even come up with a reason to defend himself.
Fang Rong put the book on the table, pulled the blanket over herself, and closed her eyes to sleep. "Behave yourself for a while, there's plenty of time in the future."
His words were essentially telling Fang Hua that there would be plenty of opportunities in the future, so take it slow and don't rush.
Fang Hua's eyes shone brightly, and his hands became still as he obediently held Fang Rong, warming his body.
He is a person with multiple superpowers, and his body can switch according to his superpowers. For example, people with fire superpowers are usually short-tempered or have high body temperature because fire is hidden in their bodies.
He shrunk his other superpowers, but his fire power automatically expanded, making the nights warm and cozy, and no longer cold.
Fang Hua had just lain down when he got up again, seemingly noticing the hole above his head where cold air was blowing in. No wonder Fang Rong always complained of being cold.
He got up, threw off the covers, and got out of bed, quickly disappearing from sight.
"Where to?" The lights were still on, and many people were still awake, chatting in twos and threes.
This dormitory is huge, with dozens of people sleeping there. It takes at least one or two o'clock in the morning for everyone to fall asleep, since everyone's sleep schedule is different. But as before, the lights go out at ten o'clock.
Fang Rong also wanted to get up, but as soon as Fang Hua left, the bed suddenly got cold, and he didn't want to move because he felt cold.
"Never mind, he'll come back on his own anyway." He couldn't bear to part with the time they spent sleeping together.
Sure enough, Fang Hua returned shortly afterward, carrying a lump of wet mud in his hand, which he placed in a leftover plastic bottle.
He stirred the mixture as he walked, then moved the bed around and sealed the hole.
The hole was long and narrow, stretching from below him all the way up to above Li Wenyang.
Fang Hua only applied the paste to the bottom, leaving the top untouched.
"Make some for me too," Li Wenyang said, looking at him with displeasure. "We're brothers, do you have to be so disloyal?"
Fang Hua reluctantly plastered it up for him, and then baked it with fire to dry the mud and mix it with the bamboo.
"Go wash your hands before you come up." Fang Rong said with feigned disgust, but she felt a warm feeling inside.
Fang Hua's usefulness has finally come into play. In addition to serving tea and water, he can also repair the house and plaster the walls. Now he has simply become a bodyguard and can even warm the bed.
Not bad, not bad.
Fang Rong lifted the blanket to let him in, and Fang Hua rushed in immediately, his hands, which had just been washed, were ice cold.
"Warm your hands before you come."
A red light flashed on Fang Hua's hand, which was already burning hot. He pressed it against Fang Rong's stomach to warm it up.
"Fang Rong likes to sleep with me too, right?" Fang Hua tilted his head to look at him.
"If you were this sensible every day," Fang Rong said, without giving a direct answer.
“I can be this sensible every day.”
"That would be great." Fang Rong rubbed his head, then couldn't stay awake any longer and fell asleep.
I was up too much yesterday and slept late during the day. Who knew that something like that would happen in the middle of the night? I haven't been able to sleep since I woke up this morning.
Fang Hua didn't say a word, and slept peacefully while holding him.
The moon hung high in the sky, and the cries of wild animals echoed through the mountains and forests from time to time, making it particularly eerie. The thatched roof swayed, as if someone was stepping on it.
Fang Hua suddenly opened his eyes, all sleepiness gone.
Fang Rong was still fast asleep, unaware of what was happening, her chest rising and falling, her breathing even and strong.
Perhaps because Fang Hua was by his side, he felt more at ease and slept even more soundly than yesterday.
Strangely enough, although Fang Hua was always unreliable, he gave Fang Rong a sense of security. Being with him, she could sleep soundly without any worries.
A sense of security is truly something that arises without reason. Just how much did Fang Rong trust Fang Hua?
I never worry that he will cheat on me, nor do I worry that he will be unable to protect himself.
The dark figure gradually approached, jumped down from the roof, and slipped into the window. Fang Rong's bed was right next to the window, very close by.
No wonder they targeted Fang Rong, since she was closest to the window.
The dark figure paced around the room, finally arriving at Fang Rong's bedside, seemingly deciding to take action against him. There was a movement by the bedside, as if the person wanted to climb onto the bed.
Fang Hua, unable to bear it any longer, kicked out and engaged the man in combat.
That guy was a good fighter. I fought him more than ten times in a narrow space, using all my punches and kicks, but I couldn't do anything to him. He was a ruthless and exceptionally skilled fighter.
This kind of person should never be allowed to be around Fang Rong.
Fang Hua was ruthless, each move aimed to kill, and he used all his strength in his attack.
A flurry of supernatural abilities rained down, green vines shooting out from the back of his hand, sparks flying everywhere. Fang Hua had channeled his true energy and unleashed fire.
A leg flew out and kicked the man squarely in the stomach. The man groaned and fell to the ground, crashing into a table not far away.
There were a lot of men's face washes and other products on it. Even though they all seem like tough guys, they still care a lot about their skin and have a whole set of cosmetics.
The two of them made such a racket that they woke up many people, including Fang Rong, who got up looking completely bewildered.
The quick-witted guy sleeping under the lamp snapped the light on.
Fang Hua was the only one standing by the bed, holding a long whip made of green vines, walking sideways around the footprints on the ground.
