"You can really eat this?" Fang Rong hurriedly caught it. "This is probably poisonous."
"Don't worry, it's fine." Li Wenyang followed the intersection of the branches to another tree.
Fang Hua jumped down from the height and landed right on the tree where Fang Rong was. The branches swayed, and Fang Rong almost lost his footing, but Fang Hua managed to grab him in time.
"You go first, I'll cover you from behind." Fang Hua gently pushed him.
"Mm." Fang Rong followed Li Wenyang, walking through the lush forest.
The three of them walked and picked fruit, and also dug up some wild vegetables that looked edible.
It has to be said that wild vegetables are incredibly resilient. If they can't grow under the trees, they simply grow in the cracks between the trees, their roots penetrating the roots to absorb nutrients.
"What does this look like?" Fang Hua asked Fang Rong, pointing to a dish that looked like one they had eaten before.
Fang Rong leaned closer to take a look, "It looks like..."
"Shh!" Li Wenyang seemed to have noticed something and turned around to tell the two of them to be quiet.
He waved his hand, beckoning the two of them over.
Fang Rong and Fang Hua exchanged a glance, then nimbly leaped over and squatted down next to Li Wenyang.
The trees in front were covered with lush foliage, so Li Wenyang carefully pulled down the leaves to maximize his field of vision.
"It's a dragon."
It was a large winged creature with colorful patterns on its back, looking like a butterfly magnified tens of thousands of times. Its enormous body lay askew in a wooden nest built on a tree branch.
He occasionally exhaled a puff of white breath, which looked like water vapor produced by excessively high temperatures.
"It's a fire dragon." A large amount of fire element gathered around it, and you could feel the heat even from this distance.
"There really is a dragon." Li Wenyang was incredulous, but thinking about it, their superpowers were quite strange, so a winged dragon didn't seem so surprising.
This world is inherently wondrous; not to mention anything else, the history of human evolution alone is nothing short of miraculous.
Legend has it that humans were once fish, living in the sea and having fish tails. Later, the sea receded, and people lived on land, so they grew legs. Eventually, the Earth became unsuitable for humans, so they fled to space to survive.
There are many unknown creatures in the universe. In order to fight against them, humans have developed superpowers. In fact, everything is for survival and for evolution.
The primeval forest is fraught with danger, and in order to survive, they have to grow wings; in fact, they are all in the same predicament.
"Let's keep our voices down, so we don't wake it up." It looked like it was going to be a lot of trouble.
"Hmm." Li Wenyang turned on his personal computer, pointed the camera at the fire dragon, but it was a bit hard to see in the dark, so he turned up the brightness and pressed the shutter button.
The flash illuminated the entire surroundings for a moment, then went dark again.
This guy was so excited that he forgot to turn off the flash.
The fire dragon was very alert. It reacted instantly and looked this way, its face filled with anger.
"Oh no, we've been discovered."
