I vaguely heard Li Wenyang's voice.
"Fang Rong, do you remember what I told you about working from the inside and outside?" Li Wenyang's voice sounded a little unreal. "The fate of those escaped superhumans is in your hands. Remember to stall for time as much as possible and wait for our rescue."
What does this mean?
Wasn't Li Wenyang under control?
How could he say something like that?
Fang Rong's consciousness became increasingly blurred, making it much more difficult for her to even think about a problem. Finally, she calmed down and her thoughts ceased.
It was as if he had fallen asleep in an instant, without even having time to dream. When he woke up, he was lying on a stone slab covered with animal hides. The short, coarse fur was like needles, pricking his body and causing red spots.
Fang Rong was still feeling weak, with no strength in her hands and feet, and even getting up was difficult.
He looked around; it seemed to be a cave with chisel marks on the edges, making it appear to have been dug out by hand.
There was also a stone table next to it, with a stone bowl on it that looked like a washbasin, and it was that big.
Everything here is two or three times larger than the normal human range, even the stone slab beneath him is two or three meters high.
Fang Rong glanced down at the spatial necklace around his neck. Fortunately, the necklace was still there, and the mecha inside was intact. The helmet he had given to Li Wenyang had been returned by Li Wenyang.
What is Li Wenyang up to?
He didn't seem like someone who wanted to harm him, and his last words, "The fate of those escaped superhumans is in your hands. Remember to stall for time as much as possible and wait for our rescue," were also noteworthy.
This is clearly the tone of someone carrying out a task. If there were any task that couldn't be done, it would be fine to talk about it, but why use this method?
He wasn't prepared at all. I reminded him to be careful of the orcs yesterday, and today I've completely confused him.
Fang Rong had regained some strength and was able to support her upper body by herself, leaning against the wall behind her.
He is in a high position now and can see the meat soup in the stone bowl, which is still steaming. It seems to be prepared for him.
There are torches inside the cave, and the outside seems to be blocked by something, so we can't see clearly for now, but we can guess that it's nighttime.
They set off in the morning, and it's already evening now, which means they haven't eaten two meals, so it's no wonder they're a bit hungry.
Fang Rong didn't stand on ceremony and picked up the spoon on the table to eat, because she needed to be full to have the strength to resist.
Those orcs probably think they're here to be wives, so they probably won't use any kind of poison or anything like that.
I don't know what kind of meat it was; it was stewed until it was a bit tough and got stuck in my teeth. He didn't eat much of it, but he drank all the soup.
After drinking the beverage, Fang Rong regained his strength. He clenched his fist, feeling the energy flowing through his body. He had recovered about 70% of his strength.
He walked around and found that the cave was not deep, and there were animal heads and teeth hanging on the walls, which was obviously the dwelling of orcs.
Fang Rong walked to the cave entrance, which was blocked by a huge rock, making it impossible to see outside. He put on his mecha and tried his best to push it open, but he couldn't. At most, the boulder slid a little, revealing a gap at the edge.
The key is very small, but you should be able to squeeze it out by sucking in your stomach.
Fang Rong took off the mecha and struggled to squeeze out of that narrow place, his buttocks even getting rubbed raw.
It's quite strange that his clothes hadn't been touched. I thought he was going to be raped. For a moment, I hated Li Wenyang for sending him away even though he knew about his affair with Fang Hua.
However, it seems he had planned this all along. This guy is too cunning; he can conspire and scheme in a heartbeat. We can't afford to offend him.
Fang Rong peeked out and saw that the place was actually a cliff. He was standing on the edge of a protruding rock, with a huge rock behind him blocking the entrance to the cave. If it weren't for the cave below, he wouldn't have been able to move even if he were beaten to death.
A cold wind blew overhead, and a dark shadow flashed by, followed by more and more dark shadows, flying freely in the sky.
They were all dragons, and they seemed to be celebrating something. They didn't linger in the darkness, and their colorful patterns were still clearly visible even in the dark.
Fang Rong looked to both sides. This seemed to be their lair. The entire mountain was covered with caves, and the entrances were blocked with stones, suggesting that there were people inside.
Could it be that he was also a kidnapped superhuman like him?
Fang Rong put her mecha back on, activated flight mode, and landed in front of another cave.
"Hey, is anyone inside?" The orcs speak a different language than them, so if someone is inside, they will definitely respond.
"Yes, I'm here," a hurried voice rang out from inside. "Who are you?"
"I am Fang Rong from the South District. Don't worry, the military region will come to rescue us. Our mission now is to delay as much as possible."
"How do you know the military region will come to rescue us?" the man asked incredulously. "Many people have gone missing ahead, and the military region hasn't done anything about it."
"That's because the time isn't right yet. The military region intends to deliver a fatal blow." Fang Rong was about to explain in detail when suddenly a dragon flew over, seemingly about to land there.
"I'll talk to you later, a dragon is coming." He found a protrusion to hide on and then used his invisibility ability to become invisible.
At first glance, these dragons all seemed to be descending, and some of the closer ones had already reached the cave entrance and started moving the stones.
Should we go back and pretend we don't know, or hide and wait for an opportunity?
Fang Rong chose the latter, and after the dragon entered the cave, he used his mecha to fly down.
He had just stood on high ground and could see far, and he had already noticed the torches surging below, with heat rising from the center.
This place appears to be a circular cliff, surrounded by mountains on all sides, with the central location serving as their lair, making it difficult for others to enter.
No wonder they haven't been able to take it down after so many years of attacks. The military region doesn't have any flying dragons, nor can they fly high up on the cliff. The key is that the air force's strength is limited. A fighter jet is expensive and precious. If it gets hit by other dragons or thrown stones, the losses would be severe.
