Chapter 87 Anti-theft [Chapter 88 is available]

"Is there one on my side too?" It's called a wall, but when in Rome, do as the Romans do. The houses are built with bamboo or wood, since it would take time to transport cement, so it's better to use local materials. "And a spider crawled in. I could tell it was poisonous just by looking at its color."

"Why didn't you call me?" Li Wenyang asked with a look of regret. "I starved to death yesterday."

"You can eat something poisonous?" Fang Rong looked at him in surprise.

"Don't you know about fighting poison with poison?" Li Wenyang gave him a disdainful look. "I have poison too."

"Really? I've never heard of lizards being poisonous before."

However, the patterns on Li Wenyang's body did indeed look like they were poisonous.

"You forgot I have healing abilities? If someone is poisoned to death, they can still be saved within half an hour."

"Wow, that's amazing." Doesn't that mean someone can be brought back to life within half an hour of dying?

No wonder this guy has had so many lovers and hasn't been killed yet; he's got a knack for playing dead.

"I've seen immortals, so what's this?" Li Wenyang had traveled all over the country and seen many amazing people and things.

"Oh." Fang Rong nodded. "Let's go back for dinner."

This is the fourth meal of the day. Once it's over, they won't provide any more, and I'll be starving all night again.

"Hmm." Li Wenyang was even more pretentious than Fang Rong on the first day, only eating two meals, and naturally he was starving that night.

Of course, even if you eat the fourth meal, you will still be hungry at night because it's been 24 hours, which is equivalent to not eating for a whole day and night.

For someone who is used to sleeping only twelve hours, not being able to fall asleep in the middle of the night is also a kind of torture.

It was getting late, so after dinner, the two of them played cards with other people to pass the time. After all, the night was long, and going to bed later meant they could sleep longer.

Time passed by, and it was almost 2 a.m. before everyone finally packed up and went to sleep. Li Wenyang slept on the top bunk, and the other person slept on the bottom bunk, so they could sometimes chat.

There was a hole in the roof above them, and wind would occasionally blow in, making it too cold for them to sleep.

Li Wenyang asked him softly, "Are you asleep?"

"No," Fang Rong mumbled sleepily, though he was almost asleep.

"Why are you always moving around?" Li Wenyang asked him, puzzled. "The bed keeps shaking."

"Didn't you move it?" He also heard someone climb onto the bed; after all, it was a wooden bed, and the weight on it made a creaking sound.

“It wasn’t me.” Li Wenyang’s voice became serious.

"It wasn't me either." He was lying there quietly; he didn't have time to cause any trouble.

Both of them felt a sudden jolt. If it wasn't Li Wenyang or him, then who was it?

Or what is it?
