Birds and cats are natural enemies. Just now, quite a few cats had noticed it, and even Fang Hua had glanced at it intentionally or unintentionally. Now, they were glaring at each other, and Fang Hua shot out a vine from his palm, which snapped the poor parrot away with a crack.
Landing among the cats, Fang Rong was startled and rushed to rescue it, asking, "What's wrong with it? Why are you bullying it?"
It was just a small, ordinary parrot and posed no threat to Fang Hua. However, just as he had predicted, Fang Hua indeed harbored great hostility towards it, even a sense of crisis.
"Why are you shooting birds?" Meow Meow finally managed to break free from the clutches and fly up, too scared to land.
“Exactly,” Fang Rong agreed. “It didn’t offend you.”
"It's perched on your shoulder," Fang Hua said, looking at the parrot with displeasure.
"What's wrong with standing up? Why can't you stand?" They're already fighting before they've even raised them. If they were to be raised, Fang Hua would definitely torment them to death.
"I don't like it." Fang Hua stomped his foot heavily, and countless vines shot out from under his feet, protecting everyone inside. Fang Rong, in particular, felt as if a vine was wrapped around his waist, dragging him away quickly.
Before he could react, he felt that the speed had exceeded the limit, and the wind was hurting his ears.
Fang Rong's first thought was to put on the mecha. Normally, she could run this fast with the protection of the mecha, but now without the mecha, she couldn't even open her eyes.
"Fang Hua, what are you doing?"
Fang Hua shot out a vine from his hand, pulled him up to the rooftop, and trapped him in a corner.
"I need to check it out." He plopped down on Fang Rong's waist.
"Get out." Fang Rong pushed him away. "I didn't do anything today."
"I don't believe it." Fang Hua held down his arms and smelled his body. "You made a lot. You ate chive dumplings for lunch, spent the afternoon with a female, and there was a lot more. You smell like cat smell."
Fang Rong rolled her eyes. "You're a cat too, okay? When you talk about cats being slutty, have you ever thought about yourself?"
"We just chatted for a bit when I accepted the mission, and I casually petted the cat. I really didn't do anything else."
"Then let me check it." Fang Hua was very persistent about this, like a forgetful person who keeps taking out important items from his bag to check them from time to time.
Fang Rong was his most prized possession; he wouldn't mind checking her ten times a day.
"Stop joking around," Fang Rong tried to reason with her. "It's so dangerous here, how about we go home and you do a thorough check-up?"
"No, I want to be examined now." Fang Hua persisted. "Why won't you let me be examined? Did you do something to wrong me?"
"You want a beating, don't you?" And you're still apologizing? "Do I look like that kind of person?"
He spread his hands and said, "Go ahead and check, let's see what you can come up with."
Fang Hua turned over his clothes, stroked his skin, and only after confirming that he was not injured anywhere did she move her attention to his buttocks.
They pulled off his clothes and looked inside.
Fang Rong really didn't do anything today. She was completely clean, without even a scratch, just a little bit of sweat.
"So, what did they find out?"
"You have a scratch on your wrist." Fang Hua's expression immediately changed after examining it, and he reverted to his usual serious and obedient self, even his eyes looked different.
"Maybe it was a parrot that scratched it." I really didn't notice that. Wait, isn't this the time to confront them?
How did he manage to change the subject so easily?
"Now let's talk about why you don't believe me." Fang Rong put her clothes back on, crossed her arms, and looked at him coldly.
"How are you planning to compensate me?" You keep asking me to get medical checkups all the time, do you think this is your personal property?
Wait a minute, Fang Hua wouldn't be treating his body as his own, would he?
It's possible that this guy is in heat at all times, touching him every now and then, and finding it incredibly easy to hold him. He even secretly admires him at night, just like a collector who cherishes his treasures. He loves them so much, yet is afraid they'll be stolen, so he checks on them every day to make sure they're gone.
Thinking about it this way, he probably wasn't checking it because he didn't trust it, but because he was worried that someone would steal it no matter where it was placed.
Of course, what is a treasure to him may be worthless in the eyes of others. Although Fang Rong does not think he is worthless, he is not particularly outstanding either, so no one would covet him.
If so, then they must be blind.
"What are you thinking about all day?" Fang Rong didn't know how to explain it to him anymore. "Who would want someone like me?"
He hasn't yet transformed from an ordinary person into a successful one. After all, his comeback only happened in the last two days, and he still thinks of himself as just an ordinary citizen with a little bit of superpower.
"But someone took your clothes off yesterday."
"That was definitely an accident." If it weren't for Fang Hua, this probably wouldn't have happened.
"I'm still worried." Fang Hua climbed on top of him again, lunged forward to hug him, and as soon as he opened his arms, his eyes suddenly turned fierce!
A cannon shot, accompanied by a flash of white light, suddenly exploded, blasting the entire top of the wall apart. Fang Hua rolled on the spot while holding him, dodging the attack.
However, with the support of the wall gone, the entire building collapsed. Fang Hua pulled him up and they ran. The ground gradually became unstable, cracking open like a spider web. The two of them suddenly leaped up.
A white light flashed behind them, and another attack came flying in. The two were in mid-air and didn't even have a chance to turn around. Fang Hua instinctively pushed him away and was trapped in the white light.
Fang Rong fell onto the roof of the building opposite, his body hitting the lightning arrester on the roof. The sharp point pierced his lower back, causing him so much pain that he couldn't straighten up.
Fortunately, I put on the mech suit in time, otherwise I would have been destroyed.
He tilted his head to look, and after the white light, a cloud of smoke rose from the spot where Fang Hua had been hit. It took a long time for the smoke to dissipate, leaving only a white cat in the spot, pure white.
