Back

Seven months later, a starship landed at the port of Wenxing. It looked very dilapidated, as if it had just escaped from the Zerg battlefield.

A man walked out, his clothes still stained with blood, and a strong smell of blood spread out. He took just one step when patrolmen surrounded him. "Who are you? Please show me your ID!"

The starship's signal connector was broken. If the starship wasn't so damaged that it didn't look like it was capable of combat, it probably wouldn't have allowed him to land.

The man raised his hand and wiped his blood-stained face, revealing a handsome and somewhat aggressive face. He did not speak, but took out his ID from his pocket.

The patrol officer saw the ID and verified its authenticity with an instrument, then saluted the man respectfully and asked if he needed medical assistance, but the man refused.

At the same time, Caesar was lying on the rocking chair on the rooftop, staring at the starry sky in a daze.

The wind passed over the rooftop, and a hint of coolness penetrated into Caesar's collar, causing a patch of small bumps on Caesar's neck. Caesar shuddered, reached out to gather his clothes, and reached out for the cup of hot water on the small table next to him, trying to warm himself up.

Caesar didn't touch the cup, but a hand.

His heart beat suddenly and he turned around suddenly, meeting Moss's smiling eyes. Only then did his tense body relax.

"Are you scared?" Moss had changed his clothes and taken a shower in advance, but the dark circles under his eyes revealed his embarrassment. "Baby, do you miss me?"

Caesar narrowed his eyes, the moonlight reflected on his thin profile, which made him look a little cold and distant, as if keeping people at a distance.

He didn't say anything, but walked around Moss and went down the rooftop back to his room.

Moss dropped his arms in frustration, sighed, and hurriedly ran after him. When he reached the door of Caesar's room, he found that the door had been locked, leaving him no chance to apologize or confess.

Moss had no choice but to open his personal terminal, find "wife" from the address book, and dial her.

However, the phone rang less than twice before it was ruthlessly hung up by his "wife".

Moss raised his hand and banged on the door, shouting, "Baby, let me in! Baby?"

There was no movement inside.

Moss changed his tone to a pitiful one. "I'm still injured, and I haven't slept for seven consecutive nights. If you don't let me in, I'll have to lie down at the door and wait for you to open it."

There was still no movement inside.

Just when Moss thought he was destined to be a watchdog tonight, he heard the sound of a lock being unlocked, and he was delighted. Caesar opened the door, crossed his arms, and although he looked up at Moss, he felt a sense of oppression looking down on him. "Where are you hurt?"

Moss curled his lips and smiled. He didn't answer immediately, but took the opportunity to squeeze into the room, stretched out his hands to hold Caesar in his arms, and hugged him tightly, "Baby, I missed you so much."

Caesar pursed his lips and said nothing, but Moss could feel the person in his arms trembling slightly. When Moss realized something was wrong and turned Caesar's body over, he felt as if struck by lightning.

Caesar's face was full of tears, but he still stubbornly pursed his lips, without a sound. His face was red from extreme endurance, and his eyes were still looking at Moss coldly, but tears were welling up in his eyes.

Moss panicked and hugged Caesar tightly in his arms, his words more chaotic than ever before, "Don't, don't cry, I'm back, baby, I'm back."

Caesar remained silent, tears streaming down his cheeks to his chin, then dripping onto Moss's arms as he embraced Caesar. Moss leaned over and tentatively kissed the corner of Caesar's eye. Caesar's eyelashes trembled, but he closed his eyes obediently without resistance.

With permission, Moss kissed Caesar's eyes all the way down. The salty taste spread across his taste buds and seeped into Moss's soul, leaving him at a loss.

He regretted it.

He shouldn't have planned to tell Caesar about his injury just to get Caesar's sympathy after returning. The anxiety and fear Caesar endured might be deeper than he thought.

"I'm sorry..." Moss murmured and held Caesar's lips. The taste of tears exchanged, spread, and merged on the tips of their tongues.

After the kiss, the two looked at each other. Caesar looked at Moss for a while, then suddenly exerted force and pushed Moss onto the bed.

Moss was startled and looked up at Caesar with a cold expression, "Baby, what's wrong?"

Caesar said nothing. He suddenly stretched out one leg and straddled Moss's body. He reached out and grabbed Moss's collar, raised his chin and said, "Do you want to take it off yourself, or do you want me to take it off for you?"

Moss's Adam's apple rolled up and down, and the clear sound of him swallowing saliva filled the room.

After a while, Moss couldn't resist the temptation and asked tentatively, "Can you help me take it off?"

"Heh," Caesar raised his lips and smiled faintly. He leaned over and gently touched the tip of his nose against the tip of Moss's nose, rubbing it. "As you wish."

Moss raised his hand, pressed Caesar against his chest, and said in a low voice, "I swear, I will never betray you or deceive you in this life. I will belong to you forever."

Caesar's chest pressed tightly against Moss's chest, and their heartbeats seemed to overlap. "Me too."

The warm light was still on, but the two people who were in love seemed to have forgotten it. The sounds of blushing and heartbeats gradually became louder, and the panting and murmurs reached the window and merged into the cool wind, as if the wind was also stained with heat and slipped away from the window.

Everything that followed did not require any agreement. Moss looked at the baby in his arms lovingly. This was the most precious gift God had given him in his life. He had pushed him away with his own hands before, but fortunately, his treasure was now back in his arms.

And he will never let go again in this life.

On the other side, Frey was reviewing official documents when a message suddenly came to his personal terminal. After clicking it, a smile appeared in Frey's eyes.

"What's the good news?" Yu Sheng, who was sitting on the bed reading a book, looked at Frey in surprise. "I can actually see you smiling while reviewing documents."

"Someone's back." Frey closed the document, stood up, walked to the bed, and took off his coat.

"Who?" Yu Sheng just asked, then he realized, "Moss is back?"

"Um."

Yu Sheng's eyes lit up, and his tone became cheerful, "That's great. He just came back, so we should meet him, right? Let's get ready and notify the others."

Frey laughed. He pinched Yu Sheng's chin and kissed him on the lips. "No rush. You have to give them some private time."

Yu Sheng's ears turned red. "That's true."

A night passed and the sun rose. Yu Sheng specially asked a maid to go to Xi Ze's house and knock on the door tentatively, but there was no response. So he told the maid not to bother him and to talk about the welcoming party in the evening.

However, Yu Sheng had sent the news to those close to him in advance. Haydn's reaction was the most exaggerated. He shouted at Yu Sheng on the phone, "Hahaha, my husband Caesar is back! I want to go and see how fragile Caesar looks after a night of hard work."

"..." Yu Sheng was speechless, "I suggest you don't..."

"Beep, beep, beep--" The communication has been hung up.

This little black guy, if he doesn't learn a lesson in a while, he will go and kill himself, and no one can stop him!

Yu Sheng didn't know the result of Haydn's harassment of the couple, but at the welcoming banquet that evening, Caesar was just a little uncomfortable, and Moss considerately put a cushion under him. On the other hand, Haydn limped into the banquet hall with a sad face and asked Gary, "Whose side are you on?!"

Gary ruffled his fur and whispered in Haydn's ear, "I'm on your side."

Haydn: "..."
