Chapter 65: Tensions

The two people who were pushing and shoving each other looked towards the door at the same time.

Feng Qingyue's eyes lit up when she saw the person coming. She cried out to him aggrievedly, "Brother, save me!"

Ji Yuan's pair of dark red eyes were fixed on Jing Song, his eyebrows were cold and stern, and there was a terrifying murderous intent in his eyes.

The purple lightning in his hand suddenly exploded. Jing Song seemed to sense something and suddenly loosened his grip on Feng Qingyue.

Ji Yuan took advantage of the situation and grabbed the little girl's wrist, bringing her behind him.

The soft touch in his hand disappeared, Jing Song's eyes became vicious, and the red eyes under the gold-rimmed glasses were filled with a sinister cold light.

But in the blink of an eye, he put on the perfect hypocritical mask again, smiling gently, even with a hint of grievance:

"Marshal, what do you mean? I just want to invite Miss Qingyue to have dinner with me.

You attack others without any reason. Is this the attitude of a federal soldier?"

After saying that, he pretended to look at the girl hiding behind Ji Yuan with a sad look:

"Ms. Qingyue, if you don't want to have dinner with me, you can just refuse me directly. Why do you treat me like this?"

Feng Qingyue twitched the corners of her mouth. If it weren't for the fishy smell all over his body and the murderous intent hidden under his gold-rimmed glasses, he would have looked really pitiful.

Ji Yuan narrowed his eyes. This Jing Song was really good at pretending to be pitiful.

He had just taken a break from his busy schedule and saw the young girl sitting in the restaurant from a distance.

The little girl has shed her obedient and gentle appearance today, and the red long dress perfectly outlines the little girl's figure.

Her slender waist can be held in one hand. She supports her head with her hands and taps her index finger lightly, looking lazy and noble.

Those light blue eyes looked at the man in front of her quietly, with a playful look in their eyes.

Ji Yuan had an impression of the man sitting opposite her, Jing Song, the son of the Lord of the Jinxing Star, a man who looked gentle and elegant.

However, he thought of something, and a chill flashed in Ji Yuan's eyes: the intelligence they were investigating about the ghost organization, many of which implicitly pointed to this "gentleman".

"Heh," Ji Yuan's voice broke the strange silence between them, "As a cadet, you don't salute me when you see me. Is this your attitude?"

The resentment in Jing Song's eyes was about to become tangible. He took a deep breath and looked behind Ji Yuan:

"Ms. Qingyue, you said the dishes were not to your taste. I have had them remade. Are you still unwilling to have dinner with me?"

Ji Yuan lowered his eyes and looked at the little girl who walked to his side. Her black hair swept across his eyes, covering the infinite disgust for Jing Song in his eyes.

Feng Qingyue shrugged and said, “I’m sorry, Mr. Jing Song, you told me that this dinner is an apology for your rude behavior that day.

But now it seems that you have other intentions. I am sorry, but I cannot put myself in danger."

Seeing that she rejected him without mercy, Jing Song's eyes were filled with cruelty that almost wanted to tear her apart.

He suddenly jumped up and quickly approached Feng Qingyue in a strange posture. At the same time, the hand that looked very scary curled up into a claw and grabbed towards Feng Qingyue.

Unfortunately, before his hand could touch Feng Qingyue's shoulder, a slender and powerful hand with distinct joints grabbed his wrist.

After all, he was a battle-hardened marshal. Ji Yuan reacted quickly and held Jing Song's wrist tightly with his right hand.

Jing Song wanted to pull back his hand and exerted force secretly, but Ji Yuan didn't move at all, but his eyes were filled with anger, which was frightening.

Feng Qingyue raised her eyebrows: Wow, quite handsome.

Seeing that the man was holding him and had no intention of letting go, Jing Song simply launched an attack, trying to force Ji Yuan to let go.

"Boring." Ji Yuan commented coldly and slowly let go of his hand.

Jing Song stretched his wrist, which was pinched so hard that it hurt, and looked at Feng Qingyue with a determined look in his eyes: "Ms. Qingyue, I think we will meet again in the future."

After saying that, he looked at Feng Qingyue deeply, ignored the tall man standing next to him, and turned away.

Ji Yuan finally withdrew his pressure. He glanced at Feng Qingyue and said, "Let's go."

Feng Qingyue quickly grabbed the man's sleeve and said, "Hey, wait a minute."

Ji Yuan paused, and he lowered his eyes to look at the little hand that was holding his sleeve. He could obviously pull the little hand away, but he couldn't bear to do it.

"What's wrong?" Ji Yuan's tone was indifferent, and it was impossible to tell whether he was happy or angry, but the softness in his eyes was extremely noticeable.

Feng Qingyue pulled him to the dining table. When the chef saw her coming back, he cleaned up faster.

"Tsk." Feng Qingyue was a little surprised. This subordinate was quite reliable and knew how to clean up the mess.

Of course, Feng Qingyue couldn't just go to the garbage dump to look for the poisoned food scraps, so she could only pull Ji Yuan out of the restaurant again.

A pair of red eyes in the distance took it all in. Jing Song took off his gold-rimmed glasses, lit a cigarette at his lips, and his eyes were dark.

Feng Qingyue pulled Ji Yuan along, stopping and starting all the way until the foul smell in her nose completely disappeared, and then she stopped.

Ji Yuan looked at the little girl who was pulling his sleeve in front of him with tenderness, and the doting in his eyes was almost turning into reality.

Soon, the two walked side by side by the river. From behind, they looked like a pair of lovers.

The man was tall and long-legged, his fitted military uniform accentuating his broad shoulders and narrow waist, giving him a nearly perfect figure. The girl next to him, wearing a long red dress and flowing golden hair, sparked a lot of speculation just from her back.

The man turned his head from time to time and looked at the girl tenderly. The dim light of the night shone on the two of them, and an ambiguous and charming atmosphere flowed between them.
