Chapter 33: Night Exploration of the Pyeongchang Hospital Ruins

Wu Daosheng frowned, "Wait for me here, don't go to the hospital ruins."

Zhang Han was well aware of this strange and terrifying thing and didn't dare to approach rashly, but he was a little worried about his safety. "Wu Daosheng, you have to be careful! My third uncle said he will be here soon, so why don't you wait a little longer to avoid any accidents!"

When the other three women heard that he was going to the Pyeongchang Hospital ruins alone, their hearts jumped into their throats and they all advised him not to be impulsive.

Wu Daosheng shook his head slightly. He had just used his Qi-gazing technique to take a look around and noticed a black fog rolling behind the Starry Sky Amusement Park. "Don't worry, that weird creature can't threaten me! I'll be back soon, just wait here!"

After saying that, he flew up on his sword and flew straight to the Pingchang Hospital behind him.

Zhou Ziyun looked at his receding figure, and her longing became stronger.

Zhang Han and Qin Shuyue were envious! This kind of vulgar method of flying with a sword to kill a sports car and pick up a girl is really...

Wu Daosheng arrived above the ruins of Pingchang Hospital in just a moment. He looked down from the sky and found that the place had been burned by a fire. There were traces of burns everywhere. The ground was covered with weeds taller than a person and dense bushes. Some buildings had collapsed in half and fell down.

In addition to the traces of fire, there are also some collapsed walls on the four walls, which seem to be man-made because there are holes drilled by tools.

Wu Daosheng landed on a twenty-story inpatient building. There were many burnt areas. The iron door of the staircase room seemed to have been knocked open by something, and there were dense dents on it.

He guessed that after the fire, the people in the hospital should have escaped, but were blocked by the iron gate, so he looked for tools to break the iron gate open.

As for what happened after escaping, I guess only the survivors know.

Wu Daosheng walked down the stairs. There were traces of burning all over the place, and there were some ash and carbon residues. Wu Daosheng saw ash and carbon similar to those on human joints, so he carefully avoided them. He had reason to suspect that they were residual substances from human combustion.

It was very quiet here, and even walking echoed. Even if he walked lightly, there was still a rustling sound when he stepped on the ashes.

Suddenly, there was a "fluttering" sound, and several crows flew out from the staircase corridor, as if they had encountered a scary creature and wanted to escape from here as soon as possible! It was probably Wu Daosheng who suddenly came to the corner where they were roosting and woke them up.

Wu Daosheng frowned. He just felt a shadow looking at him in the dark. Although he didn't reveal his intention, he still felt it.

The place was getting weirder and weirder, and he couldn't afford to be careless, so he put his fingers together and sent out a magical wave, covering himself in it.

This is a technique to hide one's figure, called the "Qi Cang Jue", which can hide one's own breath and is used to explore various dangerous places.

After hiding his own aura, Wu Daosheng searched each ward to see if there was any strange trace.

But when he entered the ward, he was also shocked by the tragic signs. Every ward was burned out, leaving only ashes on the ground. He also carefully found the oil stains left by the burning of human fat.

How did it burn and why is it so strange?

As he searched further down, the scene he saw became more tragic. Many glass windows were burnt and fell to the ground. Only the iron frame of the bed in the ward was left. Everything else was burned.

Wu Daosheng walked all the way to the processing hall on the second floor, but didn't find any strange traces. However, he found a lot of ashes in the area near the emergency passage. "Why is there no movement at all? This doesn't make sense! If it was an accidental fire, it shouldn't be so serious. If it was a man-made disaster, it wouldn't reach this level. It seems there is only one other possibility..."

Wu Daosheng muttered to himself as he walked. His face was serious at this moment. Maybe something bigger would happen here.

Walking along the cement road in front of the inpatient building, he came to a building occupied by bushes and looked at it for a while. This was the emergency department building. For some unknown reason, half of it collapsed. Then a bush grew and the ground was full of ruins.

He seemed to have detected some strange aura in those collapsed places, but it was not strong. "Not here, where is that weird thing hiding?"

Looking from here, there are buildings that have been severely burned everywhere, especially those high-rise buildings that have partially collapsed. From a distance, it looks pitch black.

Seeing that there were traces of strange activities everywhere, Wu Daosheng began to be cautious. He needed to find evidence to verify his guess, otherwise it would be a big trouble.

Suddenly, a dark figure flashed past him, and Wu Daosheng's eyes flashed! It was human!

He was absolutely sure that the black shadow that just flashed by him was a person, because that figure had the breath of a living person.

So he quickly followed to see who it was that dared to come here and what was his purpose.
