Chapter 44: Spiritual Preaching

After Wu Daosheng liberated the souls of the deceased, a ray of merit shone upon him, emitting a brilliant golden light.

The almost transparent soul in the Niwan Purple Palace became more solid under the nourishment of the golden light of merit, like a god between heaven and earth, with golden light emanating from it.

Wu Daosheng suddenly realized something and bowed to the heaven and earth, "Immeasurable merits!"

Afterwards, he asked his junior sister to clean up the formation outside, and he returned to the room, lit three sandalwood sticks, and bowed to the portrait of Daozu.

"Disciple Wu Daosheng thanks the Daozu Master for his guidance! I will definitely complete the Heavenly Dao and achieve perfect merit."

Afterwards, Wu Daosheng sat in meditation on the Caopu Tuan and re-examined his insights, hoping that his future practice would be smooth.

The night breeze blew by, and the bright moon cast a layer of silver gauze around the small village. The oil lamps in the house went out as the moon set.

The next morning, Wu Daosheng opened the door as usual. Before he turned around to greet the Taoist master, he saw the residents of Li Village coming towards the house in a mighty procession.

Li Xuefei was also awakened by the noise, so she opened the door and walked out. However, when she saw the residents of Li Village walking towards the house, she was stunned.

"Brother, why are they here so early? Don't they need to sleep?"

"God knows! Maybe he wants to see what's different here."

Li Xuefei scratched her messy hair, feeling puzzled. These villagers were not cultivators, so logically speaking, they shouldn't be so persistent, right?

Apparently, the two of them ignored the influence of the sound of the Tao on ordinary people. Although these people were not monks, after listening to Wu Daosheng reciting the scriptures, some people who had insomnia at night miraculously had a big dream, and some people with bad complexions had red faces after returning home.

The most surprising thing is that the third uncle is walking with more energy today. He is walking behind this group of people.

Uncle Li next to him wanted to help him, but he pushed him away and said he could still walk and didn't need to help him.

Uncle Li followed behind helplessly and watched

As they approached the house, everyone lowered their footsteps and walked slowly to the front yard of the house.

Some people still remember what happened last night, and they dare not commit any crime here.

Wu Daosheng knew that these villagers came to listen to him chanting sutras, so he did not refuse them. Instead, he welcomed them very much.

After repeated deductions last night, he had a rough idea. He wanted to start practicing Taoism and charity from here, so that the light of Taoism would shine from this village.

One day in the future, perhaps the great way of this world can be completed, so that people in this world can have good thoughts and distinguish right from wrong.

So, before this group of people came up, he placed the table at the door, took out the round incense burner, lit the agarwood, and the green smoke curled up, filling the place with peace.

He wanted to recite scriptures here so that these villagers could listen to the scriptures more sincerely.

The villagers looked at the front yard of the house and saw that the young master had already set up the table and was sitting there waiting.

The third uncle and the others quickly bowed and sat down in their seats from yesterday. The others also followed the third uncle's example and found their seats.

Wu Daosheng nodded in return, told them not to make any loud noises, and then took out a copy of "Tai Shang Su Wen Pian" and opened it on the table.

Li Xuefei didn't understand why her senior brother did this. She only saw him running his magic power all over his body, and a figure appeared and disappeared between his eyebrows, as if an immortal had come to the world.

Everyone was shocked and lowered their heads, not daring to look directly at him, for fear of offending the immortal.

I only heard the figure at Wu Daosheng's eyebrows slowly speaking, but the sound echoed in my soul without my ears.

"Thus have I heard, immeasurable and boundless"

When the first voice sounded, everyone fell into a fantasy world. Then, the voice of the Tao continued to sound in their minds.

"To govern by non-action is to let the universe run its course naturally, without artificial coercion, so that heaven and earth can remain in their proper places and all things can flourish."

"To live without any attachment is to have nothing in one's heart to cling to, nothing to cling to. One's heart is like a bright mirror, always shining."

"Those who act without desire are at ease with whatever happens, and are never uncomfortable, burdened by nothing."

"To teach without words is to set an example by one's own conduct, to fill the heaven and earth with virtue, and to enlighten the people..."

In the front hall, Wu Daosheng's profound sound resounded deep within everyone's soul. People immersed themselves in this profound scripture, feeling the moral principles within.

Gradually, the sun shone on everyone, warm and gentle. At this time, Wu Daosheng stopped chanting, and a trace of fatigue flashed in his eyes.

Looking at these villagers immersed in their understanding, he smiled slightly.

"This concludes today's sermon. I hope you can learn something from it and put it into practice in your life," he said softly.

Then he moved the desk back to the living room

It was not until he left the house with his junior sister and headed towards the Falling Stone Mountains that the villagers woke up from their dreams. They had a lot of insights in their hearts and bowed down to the portrait of the Taoist in the hall. Finally, the villagers left the house slowly with smiles on their faces.

At this moment, these villagers planted a seed called "good thoughts" in their hearts, which will one day sprout, grow, and finally bear fruit.

Wu Daosheng brought Li Xuefei here to continue climbing the mountain and train her physique

Yesterday, after Li Xuefei entered into enlightenment, she welcomed her first baptism of heaven. Her Qi became stronger and she reached the middle stage of Qi Gathering. Today, climbing the mountain felt much easier.

"Brother, I feel like my strength has increased a lot!" Li Xuefei showed surprise.

Wu Daosheng smiled and nodded, "Who knows, you might become even stronger in the future! As long as you are serious enough, you might even be more powerful than my brother in the future."

Li Xuefei nodded seriously. She wanted to practice hard and go to the world outside the human world.

The two then came to the entrance of the spirit stone cave. Li Xuefei was still a little timid and hid behind Wu Daosheng. It was too dark here.
