Chapter 57 Another Person Arrives

As Qin Feng spoke, the atmosphere on the scene became tense again.

Peng Kun looked coldly at Qin Feng: "Are you really going to go this far?"

Qin Feng gave a cold laugh.

"I've done something ruthless. I was chatting with my family and friends at home when the three of you arrogantly came to cause me trouble, especially the person next to you, who even wanted to wipe out my whole family. Me, ruthless? Are you a storyteller? This is so funny?"

Peng Kun thought back and realized that it was true. They hadn't taken Qin Feng seriously when they came, but they never expected him to be so difficult to deal with.

"Is there really no room for turning back?" Peng Kun stared at Qin Feng and said, word by word.

“I have no intention of making enemies with anyone, but anyone who provokes me must pay the price. You can leave, but he must stay.”

"Fine, fine, do you really think I, Peng Kun, am afraid of you? Come on, let's fight! Li Si, you come too."

Peng Kun was furious. As an elder of the Overlord Blade Sect and an alchemist, everyone in Qingzhou treated him with utmost respect.

Today, Peng Kun had to be humble and subservient to a mere youth, yet the other party showed him no respect whatsoever. He couldn't swallow this insult.

Anger had suppressed his reason, and he couldn't care less about anything else. His current thought was to join forces with Li Si to take down Qin Feng in one fell swoop, so that there would be no future troubles.

He also had another thought in mind: if he couldn't beat him, Qin Feng probably wouldn't be able to keep him alive. If he asked his senior brother Dao Yufei to help, wouldn't it be a piece of cake?

Thinking about it this way, Peng Kun felt confident that he could do it.

“Junior Nephew Wang, you’re right. Qin Feng deserves to die. Your uncle will help you eliminate him.”

Wang Feiwu was no longer as respectful to this cheap martial uncle, but after much deliberation, he still politely bowed to Peng Kun.

"I was too excited before and offended you. Please don't take it to heart, Uncle-Master."

"It's alright. I was just momentarily blinded by greed and said those things."

And so the two uncles and nephews seemed to have reconciled as before.

Seeing the strange expressions on the faces of those around him, and not daring to speak recklessly given the prestige of the Overlord Blade Sect.

Yin Tiantian pouted and said, "These two should act in storytelling; they'd be absolutely master-level."

Qin Feng said calmly, "Finished? If you're done, let's begin. My time is precious. I didn't sleep well last night, so I need to catch up on my sleep today."

"Wow, that's way too arrogant."

"You brat, you're really asking for it."

Peng Kun was extremely angry and cursed through gritted teeth.

"Li Si, stop watching the show and join in. If I lose, you won't get away with it either."

Li Si nodded upon hearing this and said with a smile, "Don't rush, I'll go and meet Qin Feng right away."

Li Si had his own calculations. He knew he couldn't win alone, but with Peng Kun, who was on par with Qin Feng, it was a different story. Qin Feng wasn't superhuman; if they worked together, they still had a chance of winning.

In this way, he could complete the Crown Prince's mission, make good relations with the Overlord Blade Sect, and also gain a favor from Peng Kun.

A person's favor is very valuable to an alchemist.

Qin Feng, Peng Kun, and Li Si stood in mid-air, the situation on the verge of erupting.

Just then, another person arrived.

He was an old man, and judging from his aura, he was also a Golden Core cultivator, and almost at the middle stage of the Golden Core realm.

Qin Feng, Peng Kun, and Li Si were all sizing up the newcomer, unsure whether he was friend or foe.

Li Si was the weakest of the group; if Qin Feng needed help, he'd rather find a way to run away. He spoke hastily:

"May I ask who you are, fellow traveler, and who you are standing over there?"

The old man's position was quite interesting; he wasn't standing on Qin Feng's side, nor on Li Si's side, but rather on a separate side.

The old man cupped his hands in greeting to them and said with a smile, "I am Fan Jizhong of the Fan family. Please do not be alarmed. I have something to confirm with young friend Qin Feng."

His appearance at this particular moment, neither earlier nor later, was itself quite significant, and combined with his words, everyone could guess the gist of it.

As expected, his words caused an uproar throughout the room.

Li Si and Peng Kun exchanged a glance, a smile playing on their lips. As expected, it was Qin Feng who had caused this trouble once again.

The onlookers were in an uproar.

"hiss."

"No way, another one, and it's the Fan family, one of the five great families of Qingzhou."

"Yeah, I feel sorry for him. Qin Feng has offended so many people."

"If Qin Feng doesn't die, he'll definitely become a monster."

"He's already a prodigy."

Leng Yuexi's expression changed, and she became worried. One, two, she believed Qin Feng could handle it, but another one came, and it was from the Fan family, one of the five great families.

No matter how strong Qin Feng is, he is still just one person.

Two fists can't beat four hands; this opponent has three heads and six arms!

Yin Tiantian was also worried, but seeing Leng Yuexi's appearance, she forced a smile that looked even worse than bitterness and comforted her:

"It's okay, your Brother Feng is invincible."

Leng Yuexi rolled her eyes at her, annoyed.

"What are we going to do about this?" Yin Tiantian stopped pretending and started to worry.

Qin Feng's father, Qin Yi, clenched his fists tightly, watching this scene with a sense of helplessness. His mother, Xia Yaqin, held Qin Yi's hand tightly, her hands trembling slightly.

They had witnessed Qin Feng create miracles, but this time the enemy's strength had exceeded their comprehension.

The Overlord Blade Sect and the Five Great Families—these forces that they had heard of so much—were now actually opponents of their precious son.

...

Fan Jizhong of the Fan family arrived in Xilan City around the same time as Peng Kun and Li Si, accompanied by Fan Leng and Fan Hong, but they kept a low profile.

They came from Yin'an City, and after learning about Qin Feng, they were convinced that Qin Feng was the murderer who killed their Fan family members.
