Fan Bing frowned slightly when she saw Qin Feng's calm and composed demeanor. He was a disciple of an elder of the Enforcement Hall, and that person had been disrespectful to him.
Have you ever met my younger brother, Fan Erlong?
"No."
"How could there not be? He is..."
Fan Bing stopped mid-sentence; he couldn't very well say he was there to kill you.
Qin Feng sneered, looking at him and saying, "But what does it have to do with me?"
Before Fan Bing could even speak, one of his henchmen, eager to prove himself, berated Qin Feng:
"Don't be so arrogant. After all, Senior Brother Fan was your senior brother. Is this how your master taught you? You don't even know basic etiquette. No wonder he can't teach you anything good. You're a waste."
Qin Feng's pupils narrowed, and his eyes turned dangerous. His master had always treated him well. Even though his cultivation had stagnated, his master had never mistreated him. In addition, because of Yin Tiantian, his master had given him extra care.
It's his own fault for being so useless; no, it's that he was let down by his past self.
Another henchman saw the cold glint in Qin Feng's eyes and looked at him with a mocking expression. He smirked and said in a chilling voice:
"What, you, a Qi Refining Level 1 expert, dare to teach a Qi Refining Level 7 person a lesson?"
He deliberately emphasized the words "first-class" and "expert," revealing his sarcasm.
Fan Bing was at the ninth level of Qi Refining, and his two henchmen were at the seventh level of Qi Refining. In their eyes, Qin Hao was only at the first level of Qi Refining. They could crush someone with such cultivation with a flick of their fingers, so they naturally didn't take him seriously.
He could certainly seize the opportunity to impress Fan Bingbing.
Qin Feng took a deep breath, suppressing his anger, and said to Fan Bing, "If there's nothing else, I won't stop you from searching for the person."
He thought it was better to avoid trouble, and after saying that, he turned around and tried to leave.
But they refused to let him leave. Without Fan Bing saying a word, the two of them took the initiative to block his way.
"What does this mean? You're looking for the wrong person."
"Hmph, Senior Brother Fan Erlong's soul lamp has been extinguished, it must be related to you."
"You think I can kill him?"
Qin Feng's question left him speechless; even he himself couldn't believe it.
Enraged, the man's murderous intent flared as he snarled, "Even if you didn't kill him, it was because of you. So go down and join him."
Qin Feng looked at them calmly, then said to Fan Bing, "You think so too?"
Fan Bingbing's expressionless face already answered the question.
In his eyes, Qin Feng was nothing but an ant. Since his brother's death was related to him, he might as well just kill him. It was a trivial matter.
The henchman didn't even take out his weapon as he walked step by step toward Qin Feng.
Fan Bing stood with her hands behind her back, while another henchman crossed his arms, both waiting to see what would happen.
Unfortunately, they were disappointed; the scene they had imagined did not appear. Instead, Qin Feng gave them a big surprise.
He severed the man's head with a single sword stroke, but the man's eyes remained wide open, his face filled with disbelief.
Fan Bing's expression changed, her eyes narrowed, and her face twisted into a ferocious grin. She coldly said, "My brother was probably killed by your carelessness, you damned ant! You'd better pay with your life! Don't let him die too quickly; let him enjoy it for a while."
He gestured to his henchman to make the move. He still thought Qin Feng was a good-for-nothing, and that his previous success was just a trick, not worth his personal attention.
The other man thought the same way, a sly grin on his face. He took out his long knife and prepared himself, lest he be caught off guard and suffer a setback.
Qin Hao's lips curled slightly, his eyes flashing coldly as he looked at them and said indifferently:
“Heaven’s sins may be forgiven, but self-inflicted sins cannot be forgiven. I originally intended to spare your lives, but you insisted on courting death. You have no one to blame but yourselves.”
After he finished speaking, he let out a long sigh, pretending to be sighing as they were.
Fan Bing was furious.
The other person was also amused, thinking that Qin Feng was just putting on an act.
"They've really gone too far. They only killed one of my companions because he was careless, and they actually think they're invincible? It's hilarious."
After saying that, he slashed at Qin Feng with his sword. This slash wouldn't kill him, but it would only seriously injure him.
This person actually wanted to slowly torture him to death.
Qin Feng decided to give him a taste of his own medicine and not let him die a quick death.
He deflected the attacker's blade with his sword, then retaliated with a swift strike.
*Pfft*, a spurt of blood gushed from the man's body, and before he could react, another wound appeared.
Within seconds, the man was covered in wounds, his entire body riddled with sword marks and dripping with blood. The most painful thing was that he was not dead yet. He slumped to the ground, too weak to fight any longer, but still conscious and able to clearly feel the injuries on his body.
Qin Feng smiled at him.
"This tastes good, doesn't it? Just as you wish."
He then looked at Fan Bing and said provocatively, "What, you don't want to give it a try? You're a master at the ninth level of Qi Refining."
Fan Bingbing was waiting to see a good show, but what he got was this. He became much more serious, but still confidently said:
"I am at the ninth level of Qi Refining. During the Qi Refining stage, I fear no one. I do not believe you can still be at the Foundation Establishment stage."
Qin Feng sneered, "Since I'm only at the Foundation Establishment stage, I'll just have to try and see."
Fan Bing stopped talking nonsense. He had a bad feeling and wanted to end this as soon as possible. He drew his knife and slashed at Qin Feng.
Qin Feng originally intended to finish him off with a single sword strike, but a thought suddenly flashed through his mind: he wanted to test the power of the Heaven-Stabilizing Pearl. There was no one else around, so it was a good opportunity to give it a try.
With a thought, a beam of light shot out from the Heavenly Pearl in his mind and struck Fan Bing.
Fan Bing was startled, not knowing what kind of technique this was, and subconsciously tried to dodge, but the spiritual light had already hit him.
