Yin Tiantian casually set up a soundproof barrier and said to Qin Feng and the others:
"Hey, have you guys noticed anything different about that old, broken sword?"
Upon hearing this, Qin Feng, Leng Yuexi, and Xiao Fan all looked toward the broken sword.
Xiao Fan shook his head, indicating that he hadn't found anything.
"There seems to be a hidden energy here; this broken sword must have some history," Leng Yuexi guessed.
"That's right, none of us noticed it, but you did. It means this broken sword is destined for you. Senior sister, you've struck gold! Ask about the price first, and buy it now."
Yin Tiantian was a little excited; she was the luckiest one.
She walked towards the stall. The stall owner was a middle-aged man at the seventh level of Qi Refining. He immediately perked up when he saw that a customer had come.
"Girl, feel free to look around, I have lots of good stuff here."
Yin Tiantian rummaged through the pile of things, looking left and right, before finally picking up the broken sword.
Qin Feng nodded secretly. It seemed that his senior sister was not a naive girl. If he went straight to the point, she would definitely find out the trick and raise the price without saying a word.
Yin Tiantian said, "Boss, you don't seem to have anything good here. This broken sword is the only one that catches my eye. I'll keep it as a souvenir. How much is it?"
The boss's face lit up with joy. This was someone he valued. He hadn't even opened his stall yet today, so he decided to seize this opportunity. He figured she was young and easy to fool.
“Young lady, you have excellent taste. I obtained this broken sword from a secret realm. Don’t underestimate it just because it’s broken. Look at the material and the aura it exudes. If it were intact, it would definitely be extraordinary.”
"Alright, stop with the nonsense. You're talking big about a broken sword? Don't you know what it is? Just be straightforward."
Yin Tiantian said impatiently.
The boss wasn't embarrassed, and smiled as he said:
"Alright, if you're so sincere, I'll give you a fair price: 150 spirit stones, no, 120 spirit stones. What do you think?"
He wanted to quote a higher price, but was afraid of scaring Yin Tiantian away, so he lowered it a bit.
Yin Tiantian frowned. "So expensive? Oh well, it's fate that it's meant for me, here you go."
She took out 120 spirit stones and gave them to the shopkeeper.
The middle-aged shopkeeper happily accepted the spirit stones, thinking to himself, "Young girls are so easy to fool; they can sell a broken sword for 120 spirit stones."
Little did he know that Yin Tiantian was even happier than he was. She had stumbled upon a fool; this treasure was only selling for 120 spirit stones.
Both of them remained calm on the surface, but were secretly pleased with themselves.
Then the stall owner took out several swords from his storage bag. They were all low-grade swords used by ordinary people, the best of which was only a low-level spirit sword.
"Young ladies, there are a few more. Take a look at these; they are all fine swords. Do you see any that catch your eye?"
Yin Tiantian was speechless. Did they really think they were fools? How could these things possibly catch their eye?
"I'm out of money."
She gave a perfunctory reply, then led Qin Feng and the others away.
Qin Feng and his group left the market and planned to visit the Treasure Pavilion.
Throughout the journey, Yin Tiantian held the broken sword and examined it closely, her expression one of excitement.
"Alright, senior sister, are you afraid others won't know you've obtained a treasure? Let's go back and take a look."
"Xiao Fan, Yue Xi, did you see that? Junior Brother is jealous."
Leng Yuexi couldn't help but giggle.
Xiao Fan smiled brightly as well.
Qin Feng was speechless.
The group of four soon arrived at Jubaoge, where the crowds were even more exaggerated, exceeding those at Zuixianlou.
Jubaoge occupies a large area, but the number of floors is not very high.
It has four floors in total, with a nicely decorated staircase in the center.
They glanced around the first floor and found mostly pills and magical artifacts for the Qi Refining stage. Finding nothing appealing, they headed up the stairs.
Unexpectedly, they were stopped; judging from their clothing, they were probably two employees of Jubaolou.
Shoppers on the first floor also saw Qin Feng and his group of four being stopped at the stairwell and immediately understood.
"They must be from out of town and don't know the rules of Jubao Tower. Getting to the second floor isn't so easy."
"That's right, this second level requires Foundation Establishment cultivation or the ability to defeat the two guards."
"Hey, do you think those guys can make it up there?"
"They have an extraordinary presence; they should have a chance."
"I think it's a bit risky; they're too young after all."
Qin Feng was puzzled and asked, "What, why are you stopping us? Isn't Jubao Pavilion open for business?"
"Yeah, what are you doing?" Xiao Fan and the others were also very puzzled.
The guard smiled at Qin Feng and his group and explained:
"Please don't be impatient, everyone. It may seem strange that Jubao Pavilion opens its doors to do business, but there are some intricacies to it."
"Oh, tell me about it."
"Hehe, you must be from out of town. Is this your first time visiting our Jubao Pavilion? Let me give you a brief introduction."
Qin Feng and the others nodded, wondering what the logic behind this was.
"Our Jubaoge is a chain, and we have Jubaoge stores in almost every place."
"They're in every place? Why haven't I seen them in Qingzhou?" Yin Tiantian asked back.
Qin Feng recalled that he had never actually seen Jubaoge in Qingzhou.
The man paused, thought for a moment, and then replied:
"Qingzhou? It's too remote and barren, so there isn't one there."
Qin Feng, Leng Yuexi, and the others stiffened, somewhat embarrassed. It turned out they thought Qingzhou was too poor. No wonder there were basically no outside forces intervening in Qingzhou; they simply looked down on it.
