49 Delivering Meal to Song Hanjun
Ding Xiumin was about to fight back, but when he saw Yuan Chiye's warning look, he quickly lowered his head.
Damn, what’s so great about having a backer!
Seeing that Ding Xiumin stopped talking, Su Tang continued,
"My top priority is to memorize the lyrics first. I'll have the arrangement and choreography ready in three days, and then it'll be time for intense practice. What do you all think?"
Yuan Chiye was the first to applaud,
"That's fine with me. I can help with the choreography."
"Then it's settled."
Dyson half-crouched, holding the printed lyrics with Chinese and Korean translations on the paper. When he understood the meaning of the lyrics, Dyson's typical tough guy face turned bitter, and his face flushed.
He asked in standard Korean,
"Holding hands in the rain, spinning around together? Six grown men singing such awkward lyrics?"
Yuan Chiye replied naturally in Korean.
Su Tang looked at Yuan Chiye in surprise. She didn't expect that he could speak Korean.
"What did he just say?"
Yuan Chiye supported his chin with one hand, speaking in a leisurely voice.
"He said that if six grown men sang these lyrics, it would be socially awkward. I agree."
Su Tang lowered his voice.
"Tell him not to be discouraged. He can make it look more stylish."
Yuan Chiye looked at her suspiciously.
"How can I change it? I can't change the lyrics, right? And these lyrics are a bit difficult for Dyson who doesn't speak Chinese."
Wearing a translation headset, Dyson nodded melancholy, looking resentfully at Ding Xiumin, who was standing aside and had nothing to do with the matter.
He had originally planned to join another group of English songs, but it turned out to be such a tragedy.
Ding Xiumin pretended to be deaf and dumb and lowered his head, thinking that these low-class people could not cause any trouble, and even grinned and smirked.
Su Tang pursed her lips.
"The lyrics don't need to be changed, we can try to understand them anew."
She picked up the sheet of paper with the lyrics and pointed to the lyrics in the middle.
"For example, this sentence is a bit difficult to understand. Even if the candy is only 30% sweet, I will hit it with one blow. I want your smile to be 70% sweet."
She looked at Dyson.
"I heard you like playing basketball. Let's put it this way. If you compare it to a basketball game, candy is like a three-pointer. After you shoot it into the basket, you will get a 70% smile from the girl you like. Simple, isn't it?"
Dyson covered his translation headset and blinked.
"ah?"
Su Tang stood up, made a standard shooting motion, and then immediately followed it with a fist-clenched victory gesture.
Su Tang's demonstration was so vivid that Dyson understood it instantly.
“Ha…how interesting!”
Su Tang sat properly.
"I also have a memory method. I can divide the lyrics into several sections and use metaphors to describe parts that are easy for me to understand. For example, I personally turn love lyrics into a level-up game, and sweet confessions into a declaration of passing the game."
Yuan Chiye nodded, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, his eyes full of pampering,
"Not bad, it's much easier to remember."
After spending a whole day in the practice room, everyone, including Dyson, had memorized the lyrics by heart before dinner time.
Su Tang clapped his hands.
"Okay, let's do this one last time with the music."
Su Tang pressed the play button on the speaker, and the cheerful and sweet music started playing. The other five people looked at each other in confusion.
Su Tang took a deep breath and spoke the first sentence first, using her unique neutral voice, which was surprisingly fitting.
When it's time to "hold hands in the rain and spin around together",
Su Tang naturally took Yuan Chiye's hand,
Yuan Chiye froze for a moment, stuck, and saw Su Tang tilting his head slightly, immersed in the lyrics.
The boy in front of him had bright eyes and a slightly raised mouth. He looked like he was simply practicing the lyrics without any emotion.
Yuan Chiye lowered his eyelashes, his beating heart rising and falling with Su Tang's singing, making a lot of noise.
He held Su Tang's hand back, his heart softening.
After the group was dismissed, everyone returned to their dormitories.
Su Tang, Yuan Chiye and Xu Yuzhou took a break before going to the cafeteria.
The three of them sat facing each other at the dining table in the cafeteria. She ordered pepper chicken and sweet and sour fish, filling her plate.
Yuan Chiye doesn’t usually like spicy food, so he only ordered pineapple sweet and sour pork and pork belly.
Xu Yuzhou glanced at the broccoli and chicken breast on the plate and suddenly envied these two people who didn't have to worry about gaining weight.
"When I finish the game, I'm going to eat a lot of meat too."
Su Tang looked at him doubtfully.
"Do you still need to lose weight?"
"My agent has strict rules. If you weigh more than a certain amount, you have to train in the gym for a few months."
Su Tang felt terrified just thinking about it.
Yuan Chiye rolled up his sleeves, revealing the muscular lines on his shoulders.
"How can you train physically without eating carbohydrates? Your agents are so contradictory. I don't know what's wrong with these agencies these days. They're obsessed with being thin."
Compared to Yuan Chiye who has eight-pack abs, Xu Yuzhou is indeed a little too skinny, but in comparison, she seems to be thinner.
Su Tang ate silently without saying a word.
Just after taking two bites of rice, she saw an acquaintance.
She bit her chopsticks, her eyes passing over Yuan Chiye's shoulder and falling on Song Hanjun who was alone in the corner.
Song Hanjun was sitting at the dining table in the corner, wearing noise-canceling headphones and with a bowl of sweet soup in front of her. The soup was provided free of charge in the cafeteria, and trainees could take it as they pleased.
He mechanically stirred the soup in front of him, his entire body as if shrouded in a glass barrier, isolated from the outside world and the hustle and bustle.
Su Tang suddenly remembered that the people serving food in the cafeteria were all aunties.
Song Hanjun's illness makes it impossible for him to get along with the opposite sex. Does that mean he hasn't had a normal meal during this period?
Su Tang originally thought that he was a cold-hearted person, but seeing Song Hanjun like this, his heart still skipped a beat.
Fortunately, this is a boy group audition, otherwise Song Hanjun would become autistic in the long run.
She frowned.
"I haven't eaten properly for such a long time. Isn't he malnourished? No wonder he vomits so often."
Su Tang's mumbling caught Yuan Chiye's attention. He followed Su Tang's gaze and plunged his chopsticks into the rice.
"Why do you have to worry about everything? It doesn't matter to us whether others eat or not."
Su Tang suddenly thought of something and looked at Yuan Chiye.
"After all, he's our teammate now, and he's busy composing music these next couple of days, so he can't starve. Could you please bring him some food for me?"
Yuan Chiye paused, looking slightly incredulous, then slowly raised his head with a cold look in his eyes.
"You want me to bring him food?"
The air seemed to be filled with murderous intent.
Su Tang then remembered that Yuan Chiye did not like to be ordered around by others.
She blinked, then realized the danger and looked at Xu Yuzhou.
"How about you help me deliver it?"
Xu Yuzhou was chewing broccoli when he choked. He quickly drank a few sips of water.
"Bring you food? Why don't you go yourself?"
“I would like to go…”
Su Tang sighed. She wanted to go and deliver the meal herself, but Song Hanjun's condition was quite serious. If she went over rashly, she was afraid that Song Hanjun would get sick.
