Exclusive surprise
The thing Kong Lingyu regretted most in his life was agreeing to Wei Lai to take care of He Jiangyun.
Over the past ten years, He Jiangyun has done all kinds of eating, drinking, whoring and gambling, and he has been following behind to deal with it.
During the years he lived in Blackwater Lane, he'd been unable to sleep all night. The night that old bastard had stolen his money and gambled away all his money, he'd gotten into a fight with He Jiangyun. Did he owe Wei Lai and He Jiangyun something in his past life?
He Jiangyun's lame leg dragged on the ground. Kong Lingyu frowned, "He Jiangyun, if you do it again, I'll kill you."
"Even if you move Wei Lai's ashes out, it's useless, understand?"
Kong Lingyu didn't dare to have any more thoughts, and nodded repeatedly and swore: "I swear."
"Forget it, his oath is just like the barking of a wild dog in Blackwater Lane. Just listen to it." Tan Cheng paced in the office and glanced with disgust at He Jiangyun who was lying on the ground with gloves on his hands.
"Spit out everything you swallowed, okay?"
Kong Lingyu threatened: "Not a single one can be lost."
"Yes, yes, yes." He Jiangyun got up from the ground and bent slightly. Although he agreed with his mouth, he was still cursing these two ungrateful people in his heart. He rolled his eyes and met Kong Lingyu's sinister gaze.
He shuddered, "I'm still here."
Kong Lingyu withdrew his gaze, retrieved all of He Jiangyun's financial accounts, and checked them one by one with Tan Cheng. He didn't have the energy to care about this guy.
Seeing that he was still standing at the door, he shouted coldly: "Get out."
He Jiangyun rolled and crawled down the stairs, and ran out of the ship in a panic under the complicated gaze of the company employees.
Faced with the mess left by He Jiangyun, Kong Lingyu couldn't help but swear. He kicked away the stool in front of him and walked to the window. His tie made it hard for him to breathe.
He took out a handful of mints and put them in his mouth. Tan Cheng sat in front of the computer and continued to check the bills.
Hearing the sound of hard candy being chewed, Tan Cheng looked up and said in surprise, "Quit smoking?"
"Hmm." Kong Lingyu loosened his tie, took off his coat, and returned to the computer to continue checking. "This old guy actually dared to cook the books. Fortunately, I found out early, otherwise I would have killed him..."
"What are you going to do after that?"
Kong Lingyu chewed some candy and said indifferently, "Let him just eat and wait for death. If he dies, go find Wei Lai right away."
Tan Cheng smiled meaningfully.
This year, Fang Huai and the other two were caught up in their busiest period. They were so busy that Fang Huai almost lost track of time. He spent almost all his time in the hospital, making rounds, performing surgeries, and attending meetings...
Li Xuan would also reply to his messages during this period. The two of them always chatted at different time periods, and the physical distance between them became very far.
Kong Lingyu was busy preparing for the game's launch at the company, and he took a break to go to the hospital to change his medicine.
But the frequency of their communication dropped to the lowest point, and Fang Huai had to get off work hard to investigate the suspect who had been following him.
However, the latest batch of vaccines has been developed and put into clinical trials. Along with this good news, the virus has been brought under control, and a large number of children have escaped the critical period and are now in hospital for observation.
Everyone in the hospital breathed a sigh of relief. Fang Huai was physically and mentally exhausted after several months of high-intensity work. After get off work, he had no appetite at all and decided to go home and sleep.
On the way home, he found a black car following him, so he decisively chose to take a detour and walked sideways into a nearby path.
"Fang Huai! Why are you running?"
The black car stopped immediately and popped out a head with a buzz cut. He spoke with an awkward accent and waved in Fang Huai's direction, "Come back!"
Fang Huai looked back in confusion. They were not close to each other and he could not see the car owner's face clearly. He thought about it in his mind to confirm that he did not know this person, then turned around and was about to leave.
"Fuck!" The man looked a bit like Li Xuan. He took out his cell phone unwillingly and called Fang Huai.
Li Ze urged unhappily, "Answer the phone quickly!" His sharp brows were furrowed. The vehicles behind him kept honking their horns. He slapped the steering wheel unhappily and drove the car forward with his phone between his legs.
"Hello." A clear and smooth voice came from the phone. Li Ze's anger suddenly disappeared. He raised his chin and said unhappily, "You blocked me on WeChat. Unblock me."
"Huh? Who are you?" Fang Huai couldn't remember who he was talking to. The man on the other side jumped up as if his tail had been stepped on. "You don't even remember me, you lustful man."
Fang Huai had just returned home and was drinking water while checking the surveillance footage when he heard the strange accent and inexplicable reprimands from the other side and almost choked himself.
"Are you Li Ze?"
There was silence for a moment, and then the person on the other end said "hmm" reluctantly.
Fang Huai: ...
Li Ze: "Pull me back. Also, have you blocked me on your Moments?"
Beep, beep, beep. Fang Huai decisively hung up the phone, leaving Li Ze staring at the phone, feeling helpless and furious.
Like an underage child, childish and domineering, Fang Huai didn't have the energy to waste time with him. After receiving the fifth bombardment of calls, he decisively blocked his number.
I sighed and brought back his WeChat account. His Moments were not blocked, but there was nothing in them.
After doing this, he continued to check the surveillance. Except for the day when the surveillance was first installed, the man appeared once. After that, he seemed to have noticed that the surveillance was installed here and never appeared again.
"Who is this guy and what does he want to do?"
In a corner of the surveillance video, the man's hat was caught on a branch and tilted.
A few strands of long black hair were exposed, but he was very alert. He immediately pulled up his hat to cover it up and ran away through the blind spot of the surveillance camera.
Li Ze returned home in a rage and called Fang Huai frantically, but the call was not connected. He tried to send a WeChat message, and it actually went through.
Li Ze: Humph, I won’t bother with you this time.
Li Ze: Remember to get my number back.
Li Ze: Did you break up with my brother? Really?
There was no response from the other party, and he threw the phone aside in anger. "You are such a blockhead. As expected, men in China are all fickle."
"There's a word for this, a traitor... a heartless person. Yes, a heartless person."
Brother Li Xuan's partner is a passionate but unfaithful man.
Li Ze picked up his phone and typed on the keyboard.
It was several days later when Fang Huai saw it. He frowned in disgust, quickly swiped through a series of voice interfaces, his eyes fell on the unfaithful man, and his breath caught in his throat.
He was coughing so hard that tears came out. What on earth was this guy talking about?
He chose one of the sentences and replied: We didn’t break up.
The other party immediately sent a voice message with an arrogant tone: "You are lying."
Fang Huai did not reply. He also felt that he was childish. Why should he explain so much to this childish guy? There was no need to explain the matter between him and Li Xuan to others.
Li Ze: Why don’t you dare reply to me?
Li Ze: Are you scared?
Li Ze: Sure enough, my brother dumped you. No wonder he didn’t see you at the celebration party when he came back.
Li Xuan is back? Fang Huai saw Li Ze's message and felt indescribably upset. Li Xuan had never told him where he was going, and only casually told him that he was busy.
He was like a dried locust flower, his eyes full of confusion. He called Li Xuan, but the line showed that the call was temporarily unavailable, and there was no reply to his message.
Their chat interface was still stuck at the point where they said goodnight to each other from the day before yesterday.
He held his cell phone, his eyes full of confusion. He stood at the door in a daze, not knowing how much time had passed.
He heard footsteps, and the sound actually came from home. Fang Huai stepped back suddenly.
Could that person be a thief? Coming to my house specifically to steal something? He stepped back cautiously, his hand on his phone, ready to call the police at any moment.
But how did he get the key to my house?
The door suddenly opened from the inside, and it was pitch black inside. Suddenly, Fang Huai's eyes were covered, and a pair of warm big hands and a familiar scent of perfume floated into his nose.
Fang Huai recovered from the shock and tentatively reached out to touch the hands, but was dodged.
"Are you so scared?" A low and magnetic voice sounded from above. The man couldn't help laughing, then supported Fang Huai and walked into the house.
Fang Huai's eyes were dark, and he nervously followed the man's instructions. The home he was familiar with became very unfamiliar when he was blindfolded.
He began to feel uneasy, and when he heard the door close, his heart rose to his throat. He opened his mouth and asked, "Li Xuan?"
His hands were stroking in the air, the black cloth covering his eyes did not let in any light, everything around him was silent, he could only hear his own heartbeat and breathing, this dead silence made him extremely uneasy.
Fang Huai wanted to take off the black cloth, but Li Xuan's hand held it. Li Xuan spoke like he was talking to an ignorant child, "Xiao Huai, wait a little longer, okay?"
Fang Huai withdrew his hand awkwardly, his handsome hand curled up in the darkness. He didn't know what Li Xuan wanted to do, but he wanted to talk to Li Xuan now and could say anything.
"Can we talk?" He licked his dry lips and asked cautiously. The black cloth pressed against his nose, it itched, and he wanted to reach out and touch it.
Obviously Li Xuan had misunderstood. He reached out to stop Fang Huai and said, "Can you wait a little longer?"
This uneasiness made Fang Huai very uncomfortable. He wanted to shake his head, but nodded.
The steady footsteps gradually faded away, and no sound could be heard around. Fang Huai called softly, "Li Xuan."
"Li Xuan, are you still there?"
He counted for a few minutes in his mind and finally took off the blindfold. It was dark all around him, and suddenly, the lights came on.
Fang Huai subconsciously covered his irritated eyes. When he slowly raised his hand, he saw Li Xuan standing opposite him.
"Xiao Huai." Li Xuan looked at Fang Huai, who was standing there in a daze. He smiled helplessly and waved at him, "Come here."
Fang Huai just stared at Li Xuan blankly. The aisle was filled with roses, just like on TV, where at the end of the flower path stood a handsome prince. No, he shook his head, it was the king.
"Fang Huai, aren't you coming over?" Li Xuan had a gentle smile on his face.
Under the light, Fang Huai was wearing a warm coat, with soft black hair hanging on his forehead. His clear eyes stared blankly at everything around him. He stood in the center of the roses, like a small building with carved beams surrounded by mountain flowers, delicate, innocent, and fragile.
Li Xuan's words were like a stone that fell on the calm water, causing ripples and the image of the small building on the water began to shake.
"Aren't you coming over?"
