Chapter 200 She Gave Birth to a Litter of Cats on Her Bed

[Ladies who read before 11 am yesterday, please go back and read the previous chapter. I added some content. I forgot to write down the materials I prepared before, and I only remembered it after checking the memo.]

Zhang Moyan and Xiao Xingyu walked into the Xiao family's gate side by side, and walked hand in hand towards the small building where they lived.

"Huh? Why is the light in my room on?" Zhang Moyan looked at her room window from afar.

"Didn't you turn off the lights when you left?" Xiao Xingyu looked into the distance, wondering, "That shouldn't be the case. Even if you didn't, Yao Ma and the others should have turned them off for you when they came to clean up."

As he was speaking, two hurried footsteps sounded behind him, mixed with the crisp and impatient urging of the little aunt: "Hurry up, hurry up, you are so slow, can you hurry up!"

"I know, I know, little ancestor, it's already very quick!" It was the voice of Uncle Chai who worked hard and was not complaining.

Zhang Moyan and Xiao Xingyu turned around and saw the old man and the child running towards them as if they were in a hurry. Uncle Chai was carefully holding a small porcelain cup wrapped in cotton cloth in his hand.

"Xingyu, you're back!" Uncle Chai ran into them when they arrived.

"Great that you're back!" The little aunt exclaimed in surprise, leaving Uncle Chai and jumping towards Zhang Moyan and Xiao Xingyu.

"Mom Moyan, Roubao gave birth to kittens, so many! We are getting food for it, come with me to take a look!" The little aunt excitedly grabbed Zhang Moyan's hand and shook it wildly.

"What the hell?" Xiao Xingyu picked up the little aunt, "What did you call her just now?!"

The little aunt immediately covered her mouth with her hands. Oh no, she was so happy that she completely forgot that she couldn’t call Mo Yan “Mom” in front of the big devil!

"Really? When was the baby born?" Zhang Moyan came over and rescued the little aunt.

As soon as the little aunt landed on the ground, she immediately dragged Zhang Moyan and ran: "I gave birth to it after school! Come with me to see it, you will definitely like it!"

Xiao Xingyu stared at the fleeing figure of the little aunt, then shifted his gaze to Uncle Chai and asked sharply, "Where did this cat give birth to its cubs?"

Uncle Chai's legs were shaking, and he could only smile and not say a word.

Xiao Xingyu glanced at Zhang Moyan's window with a chilling look: "Isn't it in my guest room?"

Uncle Chai made some "hmm" and "ah" sounds, but before he could reply, Xiao Xingyu had already stretched out his long legs and walked away with the wind at his feet!

Sure enough, Roubao gave birth to a litter of puppies on Zhang Moyan's bed.

Zhang Moyan and the little aunt squatted in front of the bed and stared at the family lying on it.

"We couldn't find her all afternoon," Wang's mother said, rubbing her hands as she stood by the bed. "At noon, we found her pacing around in the yard. We thought she was about to give birth and wanted to take a video of her, but she disappeared while we weren't paying attention."

Yao Ma glanced at Xiao Xingyu entering the room and added with a look of fear and panic, "We searched for him inside and outside for hours. Who knew he wouldn't go to the delivery room we prepared for him and instead hide here? I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay," Zhang Moyan stood up from the bed. "Cats don't like people watching them when they're giving birth. It probably thought no one would come here, so that's why it chose to give birth here!"

Zhang Moyan's words were very understanding, but this did not relieve the tension of Wang Ma and Yao Ma at all. They lowered their heads and secretly glanced at Xiao Xingyu, whose mood was unpredictable.

It is well known in the Xiao family that Xiao Xingyu doesn't like people coming to his building, and he and Xiao Huai don't like each other. Now Xiao Huai's cat actually runs to his place to give birth. How can this be tolerated!

Even Roubao was sweating.

"Where is Xiao Huairen?" Sure enough, Xiao Xingyu's first question was about Xiao Huairen.

Uncle Chai stepped forward and replied, "Xiao Huai probably has an appointment and hasn't returned yet. I've called him several times, but his phone is always turned off and I haven't been able to get through yet."

Xiao Xingyu pursed his lips and said nothing. Uncle Chai quickly instructed Wang Ma and Yao Ma, "What are you two standing there for? Now that we've prepared a place, why don't you move all these cats away?"

“Hey, hey!”

Just as Wang Ma and Yao Ma were about to move, Zhang Moyan politely reached out to stop them: "No need to move them, just let them stay here."

Wang Ma was overjoyed: "Yes, yes, it's best not to move the nest of the newly-born mother cat and her kittens."

Yao Ma tugged at her and winked at the handsome Xiao Xingyu, who was standing in the middle of the room with his long legs. Xiao Xingyu's face showed no sign of agreement or disagreement.

Everyone was silent.

Zhang Moyan only realized a little late that she hadn't consulted Xiao Xingyu yet, so she put on a rare, flattering smile and tried to pull Xiao Xingyu over: "Xingyu, come and see, there really are six! You were so right the other day!"

Xiao Xingyu was actually pulled to the bed by her with just a light pull.

There was a perfectly good bed, its quilt torn and torn apart. In the middle lay chubby Roubao, with six soft, delicate kittens crawling at his feet. Three were white, two were yellow and white, and one was pure yellow. Their eyes were still closed, but they leaned forward, making subtle meowing sounds and rubbing against Roubao's furry body.

Xiao Xingyu felt like a thousand thunders were erupting in his heart.

"It seems the father of these kittens is an orange cat!" Zhang Moyan held onto the edge of the bed and looked at the six little lives with joy, then gently stroked Roubao, "Thank you for your hard work, Roubao, and congratulations on your advancement!"

Roubao glanced at Zhang Moyan weakly and thought to himself: You'd better find a place for us orphans and widows to stay tonight first!

Xiao Xingyu looked at Zhang Moyan with interest. Under the light, her face was as soft and warm as white jade, with long eyelashes and eyes as transparent as glass. The light emanating from her eyes seemed to contain not only joy but also a hint of envy, making it difficult to look away.

"Xingyu," the little aunt timidly tugged at Xiao Xingyu's clothes and begged, "Can you just let Roubao stay here for two days?"
