Chapter 242 How to correctly remind others that their zipper is not zipped up?

Jin Xueyang looked at Zhang Moyan with regret. Why was it that his female classmate often couldn't understand things that most people could understand?

"It's embarrassing to remind people of this. It seems like a good deed, but it also feels like exposing someone's shortcomings. He's our superior, so how should we ask him?"

"Just say it!"

“…” Jin Xueyang drooped his eyelids.

Zhang Moyan thought about the suggestion: "Why don't you just invite him to go to the bathroom together..."

"What do you think I am?" Before she finished speaking, Jin Xueyang rolled his eyes.

Zhang Moyan shut up. Was Jin Xueyang thinking this was wrong? Even if he wasn't, going to the bathroom together did seem like something only middle school girls would do.

"It's okay," Jin Xueyang waved his hand, displeased with her worrying, "Normally he'll find out after a while."

Why? Zhang Moyan disagreed and turned her head to look at Eric.

Eric was chatting with a male employee. After a few words, he walked over to another female employee and started asking questions while gesturing with his hands.

The female employee answered the questions respectfully. After Eric left, she immediately exchanged a joking look with the male employee in front of her, and both of them smiled with considerable meaning.

Jin Xueyang was right. Everyone noticed that Eric's trouser zipper was open, but for some reason, no one reminded him and let Eric walk around unawares.

"Are you deliberately playing a trick on him?" Zhang Moyan felt that this was a more reasonable explanation, and lamented that people's hearts have changed.

"Huh???" Jin Xueyang felt like all his previous explanations were in vain. He glanced at Zhang Moyan out of the corner of his eye and said, "If it were you, I would remind you. I wouldn't bother with anyone else."

After about two minutes, Zhang Moyan couldn't bear to watch any longer. She put down her work, took out a notepad from her work bag, wrote a few words, tore it off, and then walked past Jin Xueyang and towards Eric as a popular singer sang the movie theme song on the stage.

"Mo Yan..." Jin Xueyang called her softly, but failed to stop her.

Eric was staring intently at everything happening on the stage. It was only when Zhang Moyan walked up to him and called him "Director" that he noticed.

"Oh Zhang Moyan, what's the matter?" Eric's eyes lit up unexpectedly and he smiled.

Thinking about what she was about to remind him, Zhang Moyan felt really embarrassed. She didn't know what expression to make, so she handed him the yellow sticky note in her hand and said, "This is for you."

"Oh, okay." Eric took it.

Before the other party could see the contents of the note, Zhang Moyan hurriedly turned and left, leaving the other party with only a distant back.

Reminding someone that their zipper is unzipped is probably the most polite way, right?

Zhang Moyan grinned secretly, but why did this action seem like slipping a love letter or phone number to someone? She looked up and saw, as expected, a row of colleagues were all looking at her with gossipy eyes.

Zhang Moyan returned to her seat next to Jin Xueyang and stared straight ahead under Jin Xueyang's close gaze, acting as if nothing had happened.

Although I didn't look back to confirm, Eric should have reset the zipper...

After a while, "Why are you looking at me?" Zhang Moyan turned her side face towards Jin Xueyang with a calm face.

Jin Xueyang still looked down at her, and all his complaints turned into a sigh: "Your rationality will make you suffer!"

Zhang Moyan glanced at him fearlessly: "Then I'll wait."

It was just a matter of passing a note, but it escalated to this level.

At this point, the stage had already begun to interview Director Wang Shuai. The enthusiastic host suddenly raised his voice, saying, "When it comes to Director Wang's current influence abroad, none of us here have a say. The Chinese have always been fond of boasting about their work, and they can make even the smallest splash sound like a planet crashing into the Earth. Who knows if Director Wang truly has a place in the international film world?"

When Wang Shuai said such arbitrary and reckless words in front of him, everyone on and off the stage was stunned, looking at each other in embarrassment.

Jin Xueyang glanced at the host and muttered, "Didn't the company pay him this month?"

Zhang Moyan seconded: "I think so."

Just when everyone was wondering if the host had lost his mind, he suddenly changed the subject and extended his arm toward the back of the audience. "But we have a guest today who has the final say! He's Eric, the Director of New Media at Leading Media. He's been living in the US for the past five years and just returned last month. He's the most reliable judge of whether Director Wang is popular abroad. Now, I'd like to invite Eric, the youngest department head at Leading Media, to come up and tell us the truth. Everyone, welcome!"

It turned out to be a trick of first suppressing and then praising, and everyone's anxiety was relieved. This host is really worthy of being a talk show host, he is very good at controlling (and playing with) people's emotions.

He also knows how to flatter the top management. No one expected that he would arrange such an episode for Eric to show up. What a shrewd guy!

The whole audience burst into applause. Eric had no choice but to step out of his work seat and walk onto the stage solemnly under such a grand invitation.

Zhang Moyan stared at Eric's back until he shook hands with the host and turned around, then she breathed a sigh of relief.

The pants are zipped up.

"Chen Lei, you just startled me by questioning Director Wang's influence. Later I heard that your intention was to invite me on stage, so it was a false alarm. You used that rhetoric very well, don't use it next time!" Eric half-seriously criticized the host as soon as he took the microphone, "That's because Director Wang is generous. If it were a stingy director today, he would have walked out before you even finished your words!" qqxδnew
