Chapter 2: Hanging him means he can be carried out.
Yunyang suddenly looked up.
She stared in shock at the man in the wheelchair in front of her.
He still wore that extremely cold expression, with icy eyes, tightly pursed lips, and an aura of terror that threatened to kill anyone who approached him.
It had absolutely nothing to do with the voice in her head.
Giulio's cold blue eyes were full of warning, and his voice was like ice: "Sir's patience is limited. Clean up the debris on the ground immediately! Otherwise, you will be thrown out with this garbage."
Yun Yang's heart pounded wildly as he yelled at her.
She forced herself to stand up, her legs feeling weak, and just as she was about to squat down, the voice in her head came again.
[Hey bro, why are you yelling so loudly? If yelling could solve problems, then donkeys would be conquering the world now.]
Yun Yang: "..."
She stood frozen in place, facing the mess, empty-handed, unsure of what to do.
We can't expect her to pick it up with her bare hands, can we? That would be a workplace injury.
Seeing that she didn't move, her brow furrowed so deeply it could trap a fly, Jukiro's scolding voice rang out again: "What are you dawdling about?"
[The broom's in the cupboard by the door! Go find it! What are you squatting there for? Trying to pick it up with your hands? What if you cut yourself? This woman looks a bit silly.]
Yun Yang's eyes lit up; having received the signal, she immediately stood up.
Under Giuchiro's murderous gaze, she went straight to the locker by the door, pulled it open, and sure enough, found a broom and dustpan in the corner.
Yunyang, carrying her tools, walked quickly back to her original spot with her head down, squatted down, and carefully swept.
As she swept up the last, slightly larger piece, a bold idea popped into her head.
With a slight twist of his wrist, his fingertips "inadvertently" grazed the sharp edge of the shard.
A sharp pain shot through the wound, and a drop of bright red blood quickly seeped out from the tiny cut.
She held her breath, focusing all her attention on the channels in her mind.
The next second, the expected inner voice arrived as scheduled, and it was more intense than ever before.
[She's bleeding! Damn! Tsk, how could this woman be so careless? I can't stand seeing others bleed. Oh dear, my legs are going weak.]
Yun Yang's lowered eyelashes trembled. She raised her head, pretending to be at a loss, and looked at the wheelchair, meeting the gaze of the man with slightly furrowed brows.
It was absolutely certain that the voice came from Fu Xiaoting.
But does he have feeling in his legs?
A soft ball of yarn.
Fu Xiaoting's face quickly returned to its freezing indifference. He turned his wheelchair around expressionlessly, adjusting it to face away from her.
He acted as if he didn't care at all.
Yunyang took out a tissue from her pocket and pressed it against the wound, feeling completely reassured.
She could hear what this big shot was thinking.
Moreover, this fearsome thug in a suit is not only mute and lame, but also appears to have suffered brain damage...
After clearing away all the debris, Gukiro led her to familiarize herself with the surroundings.
“Xiaoyuan has its own rules,” he said as he walked, his voice echoing in the empty corridor. “Here, talk less and do more. Do what the master tells you to do.”
They passed rows of tightly closed doors, with a black-clad bodyguard standing expressionlessly every few meters. Red dots on the cameras at the top of the corridor flashed, capturing everything.
This is not a manor at all; it is clearly a magnificent prison.
Giulio stopped, turned his head, and scrutinized her from head to toe: "The gentleman hates self-righteous women the most."
His contempt was undisguised: "Stop thinking those things, or next time I'll chop off your finger and see if you'll show any mercy."
Yun Yang listened meekly, wishing she could give him a good beating.
A working person falls in love with their boss. Are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay?
Huh? Brother Ji?
After walking through the long corridor, Guchiro led her to a servant's room in a corner and opened the door: "You'll be living here from now on."
The room was small and simply furnished, with only two single beds and a wardrobe.
It felt like they were in a completely different dimension from the hall where Fu Xiaoting was.
The bed by the window was already occupied; it was a girl who looked to be about her age, with black hair and black eyes, holding a book called "To Live".
“Anna, your roommate,” Giukiro introduced her, then turned and left.
Yun Yang smiled at the girl and took the initiative to speak: "Hello, my name is Yun Yang."
Anna didn't even lift her eyelids, and coldly hummed in agreement.
Yun Yang didn't mind. She walked to her bedside and sat down, tentatively asking, "Anna, do you know how to leave here? I didn't bring any toiletries and want to go out and buy some."
Anna finally reacted. She put down "To Live," took a knotted hemp rope from under her pillow, and threw it directly onto Yunyang's bed.
“Look,” she tugged at the corner of her mouth, her smile carrying a hint of numb malice, “hanging yourself means you can be carried out.”
Yun Yang stared at the rough rope on the bed, remained silent for a moment, then picked it up expressionlessly and threw it back to Anna.
"Keep it for yourself."
She's here to make money, not to make friends.
If we can get along, great; if not, forget it.
Lying on the hard bed, Yunyang began to sort through the memories in her mind that did not belong to her.
Country S, a lawless land outside of normal order, is home to multiple underworld families where shootouts are commonplace.
The Fu family is the most powerful force among them.
Want to escape? Zero chance.
Yun Yang opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling.
In the darkness, her gaze gradually hardened.
She must work hard, even if it means bleeding and sweating!
She had to become Fu Xiaoting's confidant; this was her only way out.
The next day, the sun shone on the drum until it was hot.
Yunyang glanced at her phone; it was 9:30!
Damn it, who moved her alarm clock?
Jujiro said that Fu Xiaoting eats breakfast at five o'clock sharp and asked her to serve the food!
