Taking care of the baby isn't actually too difficult; occasionally, Sister Meiqin will come over to lend a hand.
Fortunately, Obito was a very easy child to raise, and he weaned off diapers at a very young age.
The sunlight lazily spilled into the courtyard, draping everything in a golden veil.
Yuki stood in the center of the courtyard, practicing shuriken throwing with complete concentration. Obito, meanwhile, stood to the side, holding a toy kunai and swinging it with practiced ease.
When Yuki practiced Fire Release ninjutsu, Obito imitated her, forming crude hand seals.
While Yuki was quietly reading, Obito obediently stood to the side, holding a newspaper with an air of seriousness. His small body contrasted sharply with the large newspaper, making him both amusing and adorable to look at.
Yuki put down her book and leaned closer to Obito. She saw that the little guy, who couldn't read yet, was pointing at the Hokage Rock on the front page of the newspaper, his eyes sparkling.
"Obito, do you also want to become Hokage?"
In truth, Xue couldn't quite understand why most of the children in the village dreamed of becoming Hokage.

Obito lay obediently in the bag, raising his head. His black eyes, so similar to Yuki's, blinked as if he understood her words. He tilted his head, remaining silent, his adorable appearance softening Yuki's heart.
Xue secretly rejoiced. Fortunately, today's classes were all theory classes, and there was no need to go out for practice. This meant she didn't have to worry about Obito getting into trouble left alone in the classroom. She silently cheered herself up: As long as I can get through until school is over! She had also prepared two bento boxes, and she could just prepare the milk powder during the break!
Genma Shiranui was the second student to arrive in class. His home was a bit far from school, so he always left early and was usually the first to arrive. Therefore, when he saw Yuki Uchiha already sitting in the classroom, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, wondering to himself: Is this girl starting to pursue her senior, Fugaku Uchiha?

He said slowly, "It would be terrible if the teacher found out."
After saying that, he sat down next to Uchiha Yuki, a thin twig dangling from his mouth. He looked somewhat nonchalant, but his tone was very firm: "I'll cover for you."
She quickly gave Genma Shiranui a grateful look and said, "You're so kind!"
At this point, Xue began to take a closer look at the somewhat familiar-looking boy. He was wearing a faded, oversized shirt that drooped to the middle of his upper arms, making it look rather ill-fitting. He had short brown hair and a somewhat pretentious, taciturn demeanor.
Genma Shiranui knew that Yuki was observing him. When Yuki couldn't see him, his palms were slightly sweaty, and he felt inexplicably nervous.
With about ten minutes to go before the bell rang for the first class, students began arriving at the classroom. Nara Shikara was somewhat surprised to see Shiranui Genma and Uchiha Yuki sitting together, but he didn't say anything, casually found a seat, and went to catch up on his sleep.
"Excuse me... what's your name?" Xue broke the silence first.
"Don't you remember me? Last time, weren't you and Lu Liang in our opposing team?" Genma Shiranui reminded him.
"Ah...! You're the one who gave up!" Xue slapped her forehead, suddenly remembering, but as soon as she said it, she regretted it.
A tack symbol of anger instantly appeared above Genma Shiranui's head. He said irritably, "There's no need for repeated reminders..."
Xue then realized she had misspoke. She put her hands together and said, "I'm sorry."
Fortunately, with Genma Shiranui's cover and Obito's obedience, the whole process was passed without incident for the rest of the morning.
During recess, the once quiet classroom suddenly became lively. Nara Shikara, Hyuga Tokuma, and even Aki and Ritsu from the next class all rushed into the classroom. As if they had discovered some new and interesting treasure, they gathered in the back row and surrounded Obito, who was obediently drinking his milk.
Xiao Qiu's eyes sparkled, and her face beamed with a surprised smile as she said, "Obito has grown so much! When Ritsu and I went to see him before, he was just such a tiny little guy!" Her tone was full of emotion, as if she had witnessed Obito's amazing journey of rapid growth.
Upon hearing this, Li Dong couldn't help but roll her eyes and retorted irritably, "Idiot... Babies grow very fast, what's the big deal!"
Nara Shikara narrowed his eyes slightly, glancing sideways at Obito, and slowly said, "Is this the Uchiha clan's baby? He looks no different from an ordinary child." His words carried a hint of inquiry, as if he wanted to find out what made the Uchiha clan unique in Obito.
Upon hearing this, Hyuga Tokuma immediately retorted, "All human babies should be pretty much the same, how can you tell so much from their appearance alone?"
Obito, on the other hand, wasn't shy at all despite being surrounded by this group. He held Yuki's hand tightly, his big, dark eyes scanning each person's face with curiosity and cuteness, as if trying to memorize everyone's features.
This brief interlude passed quickly, like a gentle breeze that swept away the calm once more. As the school bell rang, the campus gradually bustled with activity as students prepared to go home. After school, Xue was surprised to see her parents!
The setting sun cast its golden rays along the road home, bathing everything in a soft glow. Shuangjiang and Bailu stood side-by-side, still wearing their distinctive green vests, the hems fluttering gently in the breeze. Their faces were filled with smiles, smiles brimming with love.
Snow spotted them from afar, her eyes lighting up instantly. Holding Obito, she joyfully ran towards them, like a little bird returning to its nest. Uchiha Shimoko reacted swiftly, catching her child as he pounced on her with practiced ease, as if she had done it countless times before.
"You silly child, how did you bring Obito to school?" Shimoko frowned slightly, her tone carrying a hint of reproach, but more so of concern.
"We just came back from a mission, and our teacher was in the same cohort as us, so he didn't say anything to you," Uchiha Hakuro added with a smile, her smile carrying a hint of teasing.
"Otherwise, with grades like yours, a disciplinary action wouldn't be an exaggeration, Xiaoxue." Shuangjiang pretended to be angry, deliberately putting on a stern face, but the smile in her eyes was impossible to hide.
Upon hearing this, Xue thought to herself: So the teacher already knew all along. I thought I and everyone else had hidden it very well...
Seeing this, Bai Lu couldn't help but reach out and gently pinch Xue's cheek, then took Obito from Xue's arms.
The two adults and two children walked hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun, chatting and laughing all the way home.
Along the way, their shadows were stretched long by the setting sun.
Back home, Xiaoxue enjoyed a meal cooked by her parents, a meal she hadn't had in a long time. After dinner, Shuangjiang took out an exquisite box from her room and said to Xue with a smile, "This is something we specially bought from a ninja tool shop in another country. I don't know if you'll like it."
Upon hearing this, Xue jumped up excitedly. She couldn't wait to open the box, inside which was a kunai that gleamed with a cold light, its handle wrapped with a handy white bandage.
Xue hugged Shuangjiang excitedly and said, "Thank you, Mom! I love it so much!"
Next, Bai Lu took out a small toy and handed it to Obito. Although Obito couldn't speak very well yet, when he saw the toy, a bright smile immediately appeared on his face, and he waved his little hands non-stop, as if he was saying thank you.
As night deepened, the moon hung high in the sky outside the window, casting its silvery light.
Xue nestled in Shuangjiang's arms, listening to them recount the various stories they encountered during their missions, and before she knew it, she drifted into a sweet dream.
In my dream, she wasn't Lin Xue; she was Uchiha Xue from beginning to end.
Yuki Uchiha, who is loved by her parents, truly hopes... that this dream will never end.
