[Author's Closing Remarks]

So touching!! This is the first time Lobster has ever finished a book!!

210 days! 713,000 words!!

Actually, as I typed these words, only one question was on my mind:

Are there any gaps or omissions that haven't been filled?!

Yes! No! Yes!!!

...

Feeling utterly uncertain, I trembled as I looked at the word "The End".

Logically speaking, the main storyline of the main characters still has a long way to go, and the supporting characters also have a lot of future to come.

The main emotional storyline (the main plot) of this book has been completed. The story of the male and female protagonists will certainly not end, but the book itself has ended.

Sigh, suddenly I have to write a closing statement, and suddenly I don't know where to start.

I want to talk about everything...

Let's start by talking about the creative process behind this book!

Well... early readers should know that my original intention in writing this book was to quit gaming, and that's true!

Spending money on in-game purchases! Earning money by writing books! Both kill time and provide entertainment! That's why I chose writing books!

I was signed after writing 140,000 words. I went through three different channels and applied on my second attempt. I am truly, truly grateful to my editor, Jiang Cha, and my chief editor, Qingting!

Thank you so much for recognizing and supporting me!

(Otherwise, this would just be a short parody story, ending in less than 200,000 words, without any world-building or romance.)

Speaking of the parody short stories, I want to thank all the colleagues and friends whose names I've used in the book for not killing me!!!

(Whispering: Using familiar names to write about real feelings is so awkward! New authors with weak hearts should never do this! While writing, my mind was filled with real people and faces, to the point that I didn't dare go back to check and revise after I finished writing, it was so frustrating to be so distracting!)

Since Lele and Xuefeng work together more often and for longer, I initially wanted to put them together to create something interesting. However, I couldn't resist telling Lele first, and she strongly protested, shattering my resolve with the phrase "I have a boyfriend/girlfriend." In the end, for the sake of the completeness of the various plots, after obtaining Xuefeng's permission, I changed the genre to "remarriage."

I swear when I was writing the first chapter, I never imagined I would make this choice!!

Because from the very beginning, this book doesn't even qualify as a "transformation," let alone a marriage; it doesn't even qualify as a "transformation" in the strict sense.

The reason is that I didn't originally intend for the protagonist to actually transform. It's just that pure online game novels are hard to write, so I changed it to an otherworldly online game background.

Since we've "temporarily traveled through time," why not try a fresh perspective from the opposite sex? Perhaps we can come up with more hilarious and funny stories. That was my thought at the time.

However, I didn't realize that writing like this would be categorized as a "transformation" story, which effectively limited my options from the very beginning. (If any new authors see this, please learn from this lesson! Don't randomly create female characters!!!)

Um!

After facing the facts and determining the genre, I spent three days researching and finding reader opinions on the writing style, highlights, and flaws of the novel from various forums and book review sections.

1. Writing style: Free.

Some women are swayed by a woman's heart from the very beginning, while others gradually change their minds. Some are forced into it, while others figure it out on their own.

Based on my basic conception of the original plot, I selected some relatively reasonable and expandable storylines, and finally chose "gradual change" and "voluntary".

(I think this might be more comfortable to watch, without having to go through too much drama.)

2. The key point: the psychological process.

I've seen many readers of gender-bending stories say they don't like it when a man immediately accepts a woman after she transforms into a woman, and that her speech and behavior are very feminine; it feels very unrealistic.

I'm not worried about that at all; what I'm worried about is that by the time the finale is written, the psychological transformation won't be complete.

(Ahem, actually I'm still not sure if I actually wrote it down or not...)

Because when I was writing, all I could think about was the flow of scenes, the comfort of paragraphs, and the plausibility of the plot development.

As for whether it can evoke feelings of love in the readers, well, I really tried my best!!!

3. Possible issues: Vary from person to person, and vary widely.

For readers who are not interested in the "transfer" genre, the "transfer" aspect is a major drawback. Therefore, we will not discuss the "hundred-transfer single" issue within the "transfer" genre.

Common pitfalls in romance scenes: strong personalities, cuckoldry, NTR (Netorare), multiple partners, etc.

I deliberately avoided it.

(Meng Xuefeng: I have something to say, I cheated on myself.)

(Okay, the above is the author's rant. In order to advance the main storyline at three times the speed, I'm putting on my own hat.)

Other niche quirks are mostly a matter of personal preference, so I won't list them all.

Conclusion: When you don't know how to write satisfying moments in romance scenes, as long as you avoid common pitfalls, it'll be pretty much sweet!

Um!

That's all!

...

Ah! Yes, yes, yes!!

Thank you to all the readers who have continued to support [China Literature Group] and [Longjing Shrimp]!

Every vote, every donation, every comment, every heart gesture from you... is the most powerful encouragement!!

Because of your support, the author was able to finish the story happily!!

It's not like it'll end and nobody will know or care... So thank you so much everyone!!!

By the way, many readers in the group are quite interested in the next book. Ahem, don't panic! It's not a big problem!

After all, some things aren't entirely up to me. I need to draft a proposal, create an outline, have it reviewed by the editor, and then finalize the overall framework.

So please give me some time. Once I'm ready, I'll let everyone know in the group that the book is about to be released. (Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it shouldn't be later than this month.)

...

That being said, if you were to ask me what the biggest lesson I learned after writing this book was?

...

I would say:

!!

Drafts saved!

Draft saved!!!

Draft saved!!!
