Sure enough, Wang Xuefeng actually listened to her.
When Lucadi rushed back to the Basilica and saw the group of commoners who had already begun repairing the palace, he looked bewildered.
When he turned around, guided by the commoners, and saw Wang Xuefeng carrying a strange girl on his back, his expression was one of shock.
"Wang Xuefeng! So you really didn't leave?"
Lucadi, being the leader of the group, was both angry and anxious when he discovered halfway through that someone had deliberately fallen behind.
"I'm sorry, but I think at least one person should be left to protect them," Wang Xuefeng said without batting an eye.
"Great! You did very well this time! I'll apply for extra points for you when we get back!"
Lucadi was a straightforward person. Since Wang Xuefeng's decision to stay and guard the Temple of the Holy Maiden had yielded positive results, he would praise and commend him without reservation.
"Thank you, Commander." Wang Xuefeng smiled.
Upon suddenly seeing his smiling face, Lucadi was clearly taken aback.
They seemed to suspect that his mask might have accidentally fallen off during the fight...
Fortunately, Lucadi wasn't a gossipy person; he only glanced at her a couple of times, but his attention was drawn to the girl on her back.
"Who is she?" Lucadi asked directly.
"I... am a family member." Wang Xuefeng wanted to find a reason to get him to agree to let Xiao He board the spaceship.
"Family members?" Lucadi asked in confusion. "How come I didn't know you had family members at the Temple of Saintess Polis?"
“Oh, what I mean is…” Wang Xuefeng said in a serious tone, “She is my fiancée.”
"So, she is my family member."
