Chapter 228 The Long-Awaited Flying Dragon City

"hold head high--"

The long, drawn-out roar of the dragon echoed across the wilderness.

Xiao He, Huo Lei, and Wang Xuefeng sat on the back of the Angelina, looking down at the earth below.

Xiao He carried a spatial storage bag in his hand, which was full of various kinds of ores.

This was something Xiao He picked up from the blacksmith shop in the commoners' market before leaving the city.

"What is this?" Horry asked, bewildered.

"It's a gift for Xiao Xing," Xiao He explained mysteriously.

"Gifts?" Horry frowned. "Do Brother Feng and Sister Le also receive some?"

"Yes," Xiao He replied without hesitation.

"No?" Horry frowned even more. "Then what about mine?!"

"Yours what?"

"A gift!"

"What do you need a gift for?!"

"Why do they all have it, but I don't?!" Horry said righteously. "Don't I need little surprises too?!"

"What the hell is this little surprise! I have some little fists, do you want them?" Xiao He copied his catchphrase.

"No! I want a present!" Horry shouted, straining his neck.

"Go find yourself a girlfriend!"

"Xiao Xing isn't your boyfriend, but you still gave him a little surprise!"

"Get out! That's what he specifically asked for!"

“…Oh.” Horry immediately deflated.

"Huh? No, wait a minute?" Horry, who had only been quiet for half a second, roared in dissatisfaction again: "Why? Why did you change back to your old face?!"

Xiao He glanced at him calmly: "Can't I change it?"

"What's the point of you switching back?!" Horry was both angry and aggrieved.

After his voice was carried away by the wind, Xiao He slowly picked at his ear: "I didn't say I was going to play a prank on them. You came along on your own."

"Damn it!" Horry accused angrily, "You're just trying to make a fool of me!"

"Who told you to be so naive?" Xiao He's lips curled into a smile. "Besides your jokes, whose are the good ones?"

"Holy crap..."

Angrina is incredibly fast; compared to it, an ordinary spaceship is like a rubber dinghy.

Just before sunset, a dragon's roar resounded precisely into the protective shield of Flying Dragon City.

Only today did Xiao He gain a clearer understanding of its speed.

Although it was still far from the city wall, the message it conveyed was "open the gate immediately," which shows how terrifying its speed was.

Xiao He gazed at the newly renovated Flying Dragon City, which looked exactly like a futuristic technology city.

Apart from many columns that were clearly prepared for Angrina's convenience, the rest were skyscrapers, "light rail" that shuttled between the buildings, and even many unnamed buildings suspended in the air.

"Good heavens! If we give him another thousand years, wouldn't he be able to transform the whole world?!" Xiao He exclaimed in shock.

Angrina slowed down, passed through the "invisible" protective door that opened high in the sky, and landed steadily on the column 100 meters high.

At the top of the cylinder is a thick horizontal bar, specifically for it to rest on, so as not to damage other buildings.

"hold head high--"

The exhilarating roar of the dragon seemed to be greeting the people in the city.

"Oh dear? Let me see? What's that wind..."

The words came to an abrupt halt.

The airship guarding the southern district was naturally Jia Bo's, and he performed the routine welcoming ceremony by flying the airship to Angrina's side.

At first, they saw Wang Xuefeng and Huo Lei, whom they hadn't seen for two years, but then Angelina suddenly folded his wings and turned around.

He never expected that Xiao He would actually come back to life!

"Xiao?! Xiao He?! Really?!"

Jia Bo immediately opened the mechanical wings on his back and flew to the three of them.

"Hi, long time no see~" Xiao He stood next to Wang Xuefeng and waved with a grin.

"My God... Xuefeng! You're amazing! You actually managed to find this?!"

Jia Bo's eyes instantly welled up with tears, his gaze shifting back and forth between the two men before he finally couldn't help but hug Wang Xuefeng's shoulders.

The latter smiled slightly, not wanting to explain too much, and patted him on the shoulder in return.

"Do they know you're back?" Jia Bo quickly turned to ask Xiao He.

"Yes, Xuefeng just told them."

"That's good! You all go back and have a good get-together! Leave the city defense to me!"

Xiao He laughed heartily: "Then I'll have to trouble you! I'll come see you and Lingling later... Oh, by the way, where's your kid?"

“He’s with the child’s mother!” Jia Bo laughed loudly.

"Boy or girl? What are their names?" Xiao He asked curiously.

"Boy, a little over one year old. Jia Ning, Ning as in tranquility."

"Oh? A very quiet boy?"

"No, no, no, it's too noisy."

"He's only a little over a year old, no rush, take it slow!"

"That's true."

"Okay, we'll head over now and come find you later!"

"Okay! I'll take care of it!"

"goodbye--"

The three of them hurriedly said goodbye to Jia Bo and left.

Like Jabo, Angrina stayed in the same spot, as this was its "new nest".

Jia Bo gazed silently at Xiao He's retreating figure, and couldn't help but feel a pang of sorrow.

Fortunately, Wang Xuefeng didn't follow him to the afterlife, otherwise the two of them would probably only meet in hell...

He didn't know what sustained Wang Xuefeng's belief, but now it seemed that never giving up, no matter how difficult, was the right thing to do!

"As expected of my relationship mentor! Perfect!" Jia Bo revealed a relieved smile.
