Chapter 25 The Evil Mage

"Holy crap! What kind of garbage special effects are these?!"

"What kind of garbage spell is this?!"

Dai Lele and Wang Xuefeng spoke in unison.

No wonder Dai Lele was disgusted; the "halo" was just too cartoonish.

The opposing assassin didn't know what this thing was. The flying blade was irretrievable, so he could only move around and adapt to the situation.

"clang--"

The assassin was startled, only to see the pure white halo suddenly fall down, comically blocking his throwing knife.

What kind of skill is that?

shield?

Is the shield that small? And it's just a circle? How do you get through it?

The assassin was puzzled, but not anxious.

Skills are developed through mutual testing and exploration.

The opposing team's lineup had almost no conflicts: a shield warrior, an assassin, a priest, a warrior, and a mage.

The current situation is that the shield warrior is withstanding the fat man's fierce attacks, while the warrior protects the priest and frequently engages in combat with the skinny man.

The priest was specifically targeted by the two and could only occasionally use a skill. On the other hand, the mage at the back of the formation was free and enjoying a relaxed life.

Since no one was targeting him, he first provided cover for the assassin, then put pressure on the fat man and the thin man, and finally just idly looked at Xiao He and the other two in the distance.

He suddenly realized that these three people hadn't moved forward since they entered, and had completely separated from the fat and thin duo.

"A good opportunity!" the monk thought.

He started singing again without restraint, and the fat and thin duo really didn't bother with him.

"Hey, hey, that mage seems to be planning something big," Dai Lele said.

“I’ll interrupt him.” After Wang Xuefeng finished speaking, he switched from the stealthy AK-47 to the stealthy Barrett sniper rifle.

The audience only saw his arm slightly raised, as if a magic wand was hidden in his sleeve.

Three mages?

Not only the audience, but even the people on the other side were puzzled.

While the duel arena doesn't consider levels, it wouldn't arrange the classes in such an unbalanced way.

Unless these three were originally a team.

A team of three mages?

How much trust do they have in each other?

Knowing that he had been noticed, Wang Xuefeng made no comment.

The hood of his cloak covered most of his face, and people could only barely see his lips, which were originally tightly pursed, now slightly parted.

"Oh no... Senbonzhen is crying..."

"???"

Dai Lele rolled her eyes wildly. They've even released Kuchiki Byakuya; each one is more outrageous than the last.

The mage opposite him widened his eyes, and the 0.1-second whooshing sound made his mind go blank.

In that instant, he felt as if he had gone blind, unable to see anything except a shooting star that illuminated his pitch-black world...

"puff--"

Even the shield warrior couldn't follow the bullet's trajectory; the shot struck the mage squarely between the eyebrows.

"Click-clack..."

The first shield broke, the second shield broke...

Blood flowed from the crack on his forehead.

It won't kill you, but it will hurt a lot.

The mage was still in shock. These were his two precious pieces of armor, and they had been used up just like that. He would be left without any protection.

Upon seeing this, the priest was startled and quickly cast a "healing spell" on him while dealing with the duo.

Recovery techniques are divided into: Minor Recovery, Major Recovery, and Supreme Recovery. These correspond to beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, respectively.

He is a mid-level priest, and the healing spells he uses will be more powerful than minor healing spells.

The wound on the mage's forehead healed at a speed visible to the naked eye, eventually leaving only a scar and a terrifying, still-wet bloodstain.

The assassin on the other side was terrified.

He didn't even have time to do anything to stop it.

I only had time to memorize Wang Xuefeng's "incantation," and I'm determined to look it up in the book after the competition.

Just then, Dai Lele finally finished charging up her "ultimate move".

So she raised her baseball bat and shouted at the assassin:

"Oppa! Is the machine lagging?"

Rumble—

The assassin turned around and saw a snowball, as tall as two people, hurtling towards him.

The mage provides cover for the priest, who then shields the assassin.

The opposing team's teamwork is becoming increasingly smooth.

However, Dai Lele's skills don't follow the usual patterns.

The snowball stopped a millimeter in front of the shield, and then... slowly began to melt.

"That's enough!" The assassin on the other side was completely enraged, as if Dai Lele had been toying with them the whole time.

The priest's shield duration has ended.

The snowball had only melted halfway when bubbles started rising from its top again.

Like a pot of water about to boil.

"Saranghaeyo~"

After saying that, Dai Lele blew a kiss to the assassin.

The next second, the pot exploded.

A large pot of boiling water was poured over the unfortunate assassin.

He wasn't hurt much; he couldn't even feel any pain. But he looked quite disheveled, and even the previously quiet audience could be faintly heard laughing.

He didn't want to test the waters anymore.

He wasn't a dark assassin, but a wind assassin. Even so, he didn't want to hold back any longer.

Judging from his movements, it seemed he was about to unleash his trump card.

As a result, many people were watching him closely, eager to see what amazing tricks he would pull out.

"ah--"

He began to frantically gather his strength.

A strong wind blew, and the hem of his clothes rustled.

"The wind swept away the debris..."

Unexpectedly, the three had already split up and started running away.

Moreover, it vaguely resembled an inverted triangle and quickly converged on the fat and thin duo.

"Pooh!"

The assassin couldn't help but curse under his breath.

I was about to speed up and catch up, but I felt like I couldn't lift my feet at all.
