Seemingly knowing what Xiao He was thinking, before he could speak, Yang Xing sent him screenshots of his "System Manufacturing Items" one by one.
The system annotations are clearer, with missing symbols in each formula marked in red or green. Red means "the substance has not yet been discovered," green means "discovered but not yet available in the production warehouse," and blue indicates normal.
Xiao He, who had just learned "Introductory Chemistry," found that he could actually understand quite a bit of it.
One of the formulas was almost entirely blue, with only a tiny bit of green standing out.
"??"
Xiao He was stunned. The item Yang Xing had asked him to buy earlier was called "?". The two were very similar, but the green label in the system meant that they were not the same thing.
"Adding it to a furnace with 68% fire element will produce a reaction, yielding solid, liquid, and gaseous substances. I only need the solid one," Yang Xing said.
Xiao He looked at the pile of draft papers on the table. It was obvious that Yang Xing had calculated these himself. The system only provided the final formula, and Yang Xing had to figure out the steps himself.
? + ? (68% fire) = ? + ? (??), which is the only line on the draft paper that was not crossed out.
"And what about the quality of the product?" Xiao He asked.
“It’s basically equivalent to…” Yang Xing took out a soft, mushy “soil” and casually broke it apart and then stuck it back together: “It’s this kind of stuff. People like to use this stuff to stick to walls because it’s cheap and waterproof, but because it’s too soft and lacks toughness, it’s hard to use it in many ways.”
Xiao He found it intriguing and sat up abruptly, asking, "Are there any finished products?"
"have."
Yang Xing touched the bottom of the sofa and threw out a dark metal block with a clatter.
