She fell into Ning Yifan's arms, her chest heaving violently, tears still streaming.

Ning Yifan let go of him and got into the taxi, and the man followed in a supercar as promised.
He drove the shabby old taxi smoothly and slowly, without any trace of bumps.
He saw in the rearview mirror the person lying on the back seat, curled up in a ball. She seemed to be asleep, her hair hanging straight down, and her burgundy dress was wrinkled beyond recognition, like a rose ravaged by wind and rain, lifeless.
His eyes darkened, the meaning unclear.
The car stopped in the garden community.
While she was still asleep, Ning Yifan got out of the car and switched seats with the driver, warning him not to say anything he shouldn't.
