Chapter 1 Returning to the Starting Point of Fate

Su Wu stared blankly at the massive, heavy-screen computer monitor in front of him, having been stunned for two hours.

He was certain that he had been reborn 23 years in the past, in the summer of 2001, during his summer vacation as a freshman in college.

Rebirth brought him little joy, but rather more pain.

As the illegitimate son of a mine owner, and with his mother dying in childbirth, his status was predictably low.

Even so, if things continue as they are, he may not become extremely wealthy, but he can still live a comfortable life with a modest income, since he has a valuable father.

But the truth is quite the opposite; a child without a mother is truly worthless!

From the time he was born until he was admitted to university, he never participated in any activities of his father's family, and his maternal family always looked down on him.

By the time he reached high school, he had already begun living alone, becoming an orphan in a way that was not an orphan.

If it weren't for his cheap father still caring about his life and death, he probably would have already gone down the path of no return, let alone gone to university.

If that's all there is to it, then it's alright for Su Wu.

With his photographic memory, he believed he could live a good life after graduating from university.

But the day that truly changed his fate is today, the day he was reborn.

He could never forget this day, not even until the moment he died in his previous life.

Thinking of this, Su Wu clenched his fists so tightly they cracked, his knuckles turning completely bloodless.

"I had already avenged myself, and I intended to atone for my sins, but I died on my way back home..."

"God is really being kind to me. Is he going to make me go through that disgusting life all over again? I'm not willing to accept it!"

Muttering to himself, he angrily stood up and slammed his fist heavily on the table.

In an instant, he felt a sharp pain in his head, and countless memories flashed by, as if this was the moment when the two lives merged.

After a good ten minutes, Su Wu put his hands on the table, panting heavily, his forehead covered in sweat.

"Hmph, I thought something special would appear, but it's just a fusion of memories."

"But it's all for the best. All the information I stole before I died is in my head, so it wasn't in vain that I was hunted down to my death by the United States..."

"If I can resolve the current crisis, I might actually be able to make something of myself, but unfortunately I don't have time to think about it anymore."

Rubbing his temples, Su Wu muttered to himself as he walked to the bathroom to wash his face.

Because the guy he personally sent to the underworld in his previous life is about to arrive.

Knock knock knock.

"Fifth boy, fifth boy, open the door quickly, it's your sixth uncle!"

Su Wu had just finished washing his face when there was a knock on the door and a desperate shout.

A glint of savagery flashed in his eyes. Su Wu took a deep breath, put on an innocent expression again, and walked toward the door.

"Sixth Uncle, you called yesterday, why did you come today?"

"Hey, your dad sent me over to check on you since he knew you were back. Hey kid, lend a hand! This is some imported drink your dad had someone bring back from Beijing, it's called something like Coke..."

The visitor showed no politeness whatsoever, casually tossing a case of cola into Su Wu's arms and then carrying another case for himself towards the living room.

Su Wu watched his retreating figure, his eyes sharp as knives.

This man was his uncle, named Su Liuliu, who was a loyal lackey of his father, Su Guiquan, after he became wealthy.

It can be said that everything Su Wu needed from childhood to adulthood was provided by this guy.

If this were his past life, then his sixth uncle would definitely be the person Su Wu was closest to.

In fact, he came here today for another purpose, or rather, with a mission.

"Come on, college student, let your uncle take a good look. Wow, you've gotten quite strong. You can get this drink in Tianjin, right? But we don't have it in our little county, it's a rare treat..."

Listening to his rambling, Su Wu put down his drink and glanced at the leather bag he had brought.

He didn't pay attention to what Su Liuliu was going to ramble on about next; he started thinking about how to deal with the upcoming plot.

Seeing that Su Wu was no longer as affectionate as before, Su Liuliu complained a little.

"This kid, you're still acting all distant now that you're in college. Let me tell you, I've come to tell you something good today!"

"Sigh, don't blame your father all these years. If it weren't for your aunt's family's support, he probably would have been hacked to death long ago. Sometimes he doesn't speak with confidence..."

"Besides, your father has never skimped on your food and clothing over the years. If your mother hadn't passed away early, you two..."

Listening to his rambling, Su Wu felt very annoyed, but a smile appeared on his face.

"Sixth Uncle, what good news do you think there is? I know my father has been good enough to me."

Upon hearing this, Su Liuli slapped her forehead and opened the leather bag beside her while speaking.

"Hey, look at me, I forgot the important thing as soon as I started talking. Let me tell you, this was something your dad secretly arranged for you..."

He then pulled out stacks of contracts and documents and began to explain.

Su Wu had experienced this scene in his previous life, and he would never forget it.

This is a mine transfer contract and related documents for the operation of the mining company.

Baocai Mining Company in Heizhuangshan Mining Area, owned by Su Wu.

In an instant, Su Wu's memories were pulled back to his past life, and it seemed as if two Su Liuliu were chattering incessantly in his ears.

"This mine was bought by your dad for 5 million yuan specifically for you... After you graduate from university, it will all be yours, and you'll be a boss..."
