Feeling somewhat irritated, Su Wu picked up his phone and clicked to check.
"The studio is moving; the new address is..."
Seeing this information, Su Wu was speechless.
He had initially thought it would be some ambiguous text message, and was even a little excited.
He's been under a lot of pressure lately and is hoping to find a way to relax.
He had everything prepared, and then Anna showed him this?
That's how people are sometimes; they disdain what's offered to them, yet secretly harbor expectations.
Su Wu shook his head self-deprecatingly and began to read Anna's text message carefully.
Why move the game studio when everything was fine?
The game studio is currently operating smoothly and making a fortune every day.
What is Li Zhi doing, making such a fuss?
Moving a studio to a new location would take several days, or even longer. Isn't that just throwing money away?
Moreover, why didn't Li Zhi and the others discuss such a big matter as moving the studio to a new location with him?
The more Su Wu thought about it, the stranger it seemed, so he simply called Anna.
But Anna didn't answer, and texted saying she was busy.
Su Wu, puzzled, called Li Zhi again, only to find that the guy had simply turned off his phone.
He then tried calling Miao Renfeng and Ma Shangfeng, but received similar results.
That's strange, he won't answer the phone no matter what.
"What happened?" Su Wu had no choice but to send Anna another text message.
After a while, Anna replied, "It's nothing, I'll contact you in a bit."
Is this some kind of fishing game?
With a frown, Su Wu called Wang Bing, the head of the bodyguards, while silently complaining to himself.
"Brother Bing, are the security guards at the game studio still there?"
“Yes, but…” Wang Bing hesitated, then stopped himself from speaking.
For everyone's safety, Su Wu arranged for two security guards from a security company to work at the Nanjing University game studio.
Wang Bing's stammering made Su Wu's face turn ugly.
"What exactly happened? I need to know the details."
Upon hearing this, Wang Bing said helplessly, "There was a conflict at the studio, and both boys are now in the hospital."
"What? Why weren't you told me about something this big?" Su Wu exclaimed in surprise.
"The studio wouldn't let you know, and they also gave you enough compensation," Wang Bing said with a wry smile.
Su Wu felt a pang of despair upon hearing this.
To keep it a secret, he didn't tell anyone that he owned the security company.
He was merely acting as an introducer.
Sure enough, showing off always comes at a price.
Su Wu sighed inwardly and pressed on, "How badly are they injured? How are the others?"
"No serious injuries, but he'll need to be bedridden for a month or two. A few employees from the studio were injured, but..."
"But what?"
"However, many of the troublemakers on the other side were injured, several seriously."
"Damn it, do you even know what you sent?"
Listening to Wang Bing's rambling, toothpaste-like approach, Su Wu became genuinely angry.
Urged on by him, Wang Bing then began to explain in detail.
Of course, he wasn't involved himself; he could only relay some information he knew.
A large-scale brawl broke out in the studio, stemming from the landlord's attempt to breach the contract.
If a landlord is willing to pay a penalty for breach of contract to terminate a contract, there is only one reason.
That is, the landlord's house can bring him greater benefits.
This is only natural; everyone should part ways amicably.
It is said that Li Zhi asked the landlord for half a month to move out, as stipulated in the contract, and the landlord agreed.
But just a few days later, the landlord came to the door again, his attitude very tough.
Wang Bing said that the landlord brought a group of arrogant people and demanded that Li Zhi and his group move out that day.
Even if they were to move, how could so much equipment be moved all at once?
Li Zhi was no pushover, and a conflict soon broke out between the two sides.
The rest is history; when the time comes, act decisively, even if you end up bloodied and battered, go find your uncle.
If it weren't for the strong security guards and their large numbers, Li Zhi and his group would probably have suffered a great loss.
Even so, much of their equipment was damaged.
As Su Wu listened, he filled in the blanks in his mind, and his thoughts gradually calmed down.
This is clearly someone deliberately causing trouble, but why?
Just as he was pondering this, Wang Bing said something.
"The kids said those guys seemed to deliberately avoid hitting the bosses too hard, trying to avoid it if they could..."
"Is that so? Are they sure?"
"Yes, otherwise, how could those few students have seriously injured someone? They would have been knocked down long ago."
Hearing Wang Bing say this, Su Wu felt even more puzzled.
He never expected that Li Zhi and his group could seriously injure the "professionals".
He learned from Wang Bing that Li Zhi and the others were currently at the police station.
No wonder Anna secretly texted him, asking him to check out the new studio.
As for why he wasn't told this, Su Wu guessed it was Li Zhi's idea.
Although the matter seems significant, it shouldn't be difficult to resolve given Li Zhi's background; at most, it would just involve financial losses.
However, their current situation seems somewhat different.
After learning the general outline of the incident, Su Wu concluded that it was deliberately orchestrated by someone.
He didn't know who it was, but he was certain that it was related to Yao Junjun.
He couldn't think of anyone else in Tianjin who would treat a game studio like this.
The old studio was temporarily sealed off, the new studio was empty, and there was nothing interesting to see about Su Wu.
