Li Zhi also looked indignant, adopting a posture as if he wanted a joint trial.
Su Wu immediately surrendered, saying, "I'm just following the big boss around, I still have to make a living."
Li Zhi scoffed, "You're really doing well. You went on a fancy trip abroad and ended up with a multi-billion dollar company? Why didn't you take me with you?"
"That's right, Xiao Wu, you should at least talk to the brothers. How can you eat alone?" Peter Ma complained with a half-smile.
Okay, Su Wu is numb.
He was being unfair.
He really couldn't explain this.
He quickly put his hands together and said, "It was my fault. If you are interested, you can invest anytime."
"Tch, no sincerity. I'm not voting. You've changed!" Li Zhi complained irritably.
Upon seeing this, Su Wu immediately wrapped his arms around his neck.
"Boss, haven't seen you today? Are you getting cocky?"
"Fuck you, let go. My knife is just not sharp enough, otherwise I would have killed you."
"I've got you! Want to have a proper sparring match?"
"Third brother, this is insubordination! You'd better watch out, or you'll get struck by lightning..."
Li Zhi was not going to hold a grudge against him over this, and the two immediately started arguing.
He's already busy enough with just one Nanjing University game studio; he doesn't have time to worry about anything else.
Su Wu estimated that this was most likely a test by Ma Peter.
After a while of laughter and joking, he said leisurely, "If you're really interested, I'd really welcome you, but don't blame me if you lose out."
"Look at what you're saying, we were just joking, and you took it seriously." Li Zhi waved his hand.
Peter Ma did not comment, and frankly, he was not optimistic about the PC industry.
After testing the waters, he chuckled and said, "You didn't call us here today just to try and get investment, did you?"
"Sigh, the company is a complete mess right now, how could I possibly harm anyone? I just wanted to find out some information. Here's what happened..."
Upon hearing this, Su Wu smiled wryly and explained his purpose directly.
Li Zhi was completely dumbfounded.
"Damn, Yao Aiguo is finished? You're really unlucky, you bought a dilapidated building."
He's just a carefree student now; who can expect him to know anything?
Su Wu smiled wryly and said, "Yeah, and now a bunch of inspectors have come, it's annoying. I have a feeling there's something going on here, so I thought I'd ask Brother Ma."
Peter nodded slightly and sighed.
"You've come to the right person. I don't know who's behind Yao Aiguo, but that old bastard is finished this time, especially since both the Li and Hu families have made their moves."
"What? Both families have made a move against Yao Aiguo?" Su Wu exclaimed in surprise.
Peter Ma sneered, "He deserved it. Running around to both sides will never end well. You were definitely ripped off when you bought his building."
His words were clearly loaded with hidden meaning.
Su Wu knew that the other party was targeting him.
But while I'm open to discussing cooperation, it's impossible for him to pledge allegiance to the Li family.
