As dawn broke, Liu Zhenbing and Liu Zhenxing sat in the living room smoking, both looking rather grim.
Liu Fang knelt before them, his face full of grievance.
Liu Zhenxing sighed, "Brother, I'm afraid it's no use. No matter how much money we offer, those websites won't help us anymore."
"Sigh, it's said that it was hacked, and they can't afford the losses," Liu Zhenbing sighed.
He paused, then sighed, "The situation is out of control, and this could affect me. That damned beast is really going to kill me."
As he spoke, he casually grabbed the teacup beside him and threw it at Liu Fang.
However, the force was obviously not great; the teacup only hit Liu Fang's head once before falling to the ground.
Liu Zhenxing intervened, saying, "What's done is done. Blaming the child won't help. Let's see how to resolve this."
Liu Zhenbing gritted his teeth and said, "At this point, he can't stay at Nanjing University anymore, and he'll end up with the bad reputation of being expelled. Otherwise, someone will definitely find a way to use me against him."
"Hey, what's the big deal? We can just send her to study in Japan. Anyway, Liu Xia is here, so there's someone to look after her," Liu Zhenxing advised.
"Sigh, that's all we can do. I'm afraid I'll have to make some arrangements myself, and you'll probably have to do your part." Liu Zhenbing rubbed his forehead.
"Of course, just tell me how much you need, brother," Liu Zhenxing agreed.
Both men were seasoned veterans with a clear understanding of the situation.
At this point, forcibly suppressing the issue is less effective than taking a step back and finding a more peaceful outcome.
After a brief discussion, Liu Zhenxing frowned.
"Something's fishy about this. Brother, have you offended someone? Or maybe you've given up on him...?"
Upon hearing this, Liu Zhenbing pondered for a moment and shook his head slightly.
“I certainly haven’t offended anyone to this extent. No one would go so far as to target my son. It’s pointless.”
After saying that, the two looked at each other and then turned to look at Liu Fang.
"Tell me, did you offend someone at school?"
Stared at by two imposing elders, Liu Fang suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to urinate.
He said, looking aggrieved, "I don't think so."
"No? You better speak properly, or I'll beat you to death, you little brat!"
Liu Zhenbing roared through gritted teeth; he knew his son all too well.
Liu Fang shuddered and said in a trembling voice, "There's a guy named Li Zhi. He's the one who injured me. He couldn't possibly have done this to me. I'm the victim."
"Li Zhi?"
The two of them exclaimed in surprise at the same time.
Liu Fang nervously explained, "Yes, I heard his father is a high-ranking official in Beijing, but I didn't dare to inquire further. After he beat me up, I haven't dared to provoke him since, I..."
There are only a handful of high-ranking officials with the surname Li in the capital, so Liu Zhenbing and Liu Zhenxing don't need to inquire about them.
However, in order to confirm some things, Liu Zhenbing still made a few phone calls.
A moment later, he looked at his good-for-nothing son and sighed helplessly.
"You're lucky you're quick-witted, otherwise your father would have been really killed by you! Li Zhi is someone you can't afford to mess with."
"Damn it, you used to have a chance to curry favor with them, but now it's all gone! You're useless!"
He was furious again the moment I uttered a word of praise.
Li Zhi's father is only a deputy director-level official, but his grandfather is incredibly powerful.
If Liu Zhenbing could get on this bandwagon, wouldn't he be set for life?
Unfortunately, it's too late now, there's no chance left.
Liu Zhenxing analyzed from the side: "Li Zhi is from a prominent family, he couldn't possibly do such a thing, right? Besides, this is Tianjin."
"That's right, this kind of thing must have been done by a local, otherwise how could it be such a coincidence? Who else have you offended!"
Liu Zhenbing nodded in agreement and then looked at Liu Fang.
Liu Fang racked his brains with a pained expression, and could only helplessly say, "There's also someone named Su Wu, but he's just an ordinary person, I..."
"What did you say? You said it was Su Wu?"
Before he could finish speaking, he was interrupted by Liu Zhenxing's exclamation.
Liu Fang looked bewildered and nodded in astonishment, "Yes, people from Xishan."
Upon hearing this, Liu Zhenxing couldn't help but smile wryly, "You really are a talent, always choosing the toughest challenges."
Seeing his strong reaction, Liu Zhenbing couldn't help but feel puzzled.
What's going on?
"The child has already knelt down, let him rest."
Liu Zhenxing lit a cigarette helplessly, his feelings quite complicated.
Liu Zhenbing immediately understood, glared at Liu Fang, and said, "Go back to sleep!"
After sending his good-for-nothing son away, he asked in a low voice, "What's wrong with that Su Wu?"
"In terms of background, he's just the illegitimate son of a coal mine owner in Xishan, but this kid is really something else; he tricked me..."
Liu Zhenxing began to patiently explain to his elder brother the matter related to Su Wu.
After a long while, Liu Zhenbing looked astonished and somewhat incredulous.
"How could a student have such abilities?"
"Yeah, I still can't believe it, but it's the truth. He's the CEO of a company now."
"It's just a beverage factory, but is it really that sinister and capable of threatening you?"
"It should be that hacker, but I suspect it's the powerful figure behind him. I'm dealing with these things right now, and I'll take care of him once things are settled."
Be careful in everything you do, and if you can be kind to others, then be kind to them.
Liu Zhenbing was shocked, but he didn't forget to remind Liu Zhenxing.
Liu Zhenxing shook his head slightly. "If I'm not mistaken, this was probably done by that kid. He definitely knows about our relationship."
