Chapter 11: It's best for bystanders not to gather around.

The burly man smiled and said, "No need to explain, I understand."

"Bang bang bang bang bang!"

The man with glasses: "!!!"

"Have mercy, sir! I'm really not a liar!" the bespectacled man cried out desperately.

As a result, nobody paid any attention to them.

The bespectacled man gritted his teeth and pointed at Lin Yu in the distance:

“That man knows me! He’s my friend, he can vouch for me!”

The burly man and the guards stopped, and someone immediately went over and pulled Lin Yu away.

"Do you know this kid?" the burly man asked, pointing at the bespectacled man.

The bespectacled man looked at Lin Yu with hope in his eyes.

Lin Yu shook his head: "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with him. I'm just an outsider."

The big man: "I understand."

"Bang bang bang bang bang!"

The man with glasses: "!!!"

Lin Yu ignored the matter and turned to leave. Glancing at the dagger on the bar, Lin Yu's lips twitched. He roughly knew what was going on.

"Take care, bespectacled guy."

Lin Yu muttered something to himself and headed straight for the second floor of the mall.

The second floor mainly displays weapons and props, including various cold weapons such as swords, spears, halberds, and magic wands, magic stones, magic books, and other weapons specifically for mages.

Lin Yu walked purposefully toward a row of glass display windows, where swords were displayed.

Lin Yu swallowed hard, a surge of impulse rising within him:

I really want to swallow all these swords!

However, thinking about what happened to the guy with glasses, Lin Yu quickly regained his composure and dismissed the unrealistic idea.

Furthermore, the doors to the shop windows were all locked, so Lin Yu had no chance to touch the swords inside.

Sigh! I can't even take two puffs! Lin Yu thought regretfully.

His gaze swept over the swords inside, then he looked at the item information posted in the display window and began to carefully select one.

First, eliminate those rated 2 stars or higher – they're too expensive, I can't afford them!

Of the remaining swords, those with mediocre effects were eliminated by Lin Yu, leaving only 3:

A long sword, dark red in color and exuding a fierce aura.

Name: Crimson Blood Sword

Type: Weapon.

Effects: 1. Sharpness: Increases slash damage by an additional 20% to 25%. 2. Bleeding: Leaves a wound on the target, causing a bleeding effect that lasts for 10 seconds.

Rating: 1 star.

A long sword with a blue base and earth-yellow patterns.

Name: Bluestone Sword

Type: Weapon.

Effects: 1. Sharpness: Increases slash damage by an additional 20% to 25%. 2. Petrification: After each slash, there is a 5% chance to trigger a root effect, with a root duration of 0.5 seconds.

Rating: 1 star.

A delicately crafted short sword with a butterfly engraved on the hilt.

Name: Butterfly Shadow Sword.

Type: Weapon.

Effects: 1. Sharpness: Increases slash damage by an additional 10% to 15%. 2. Quick Kill: Increases slash speed by an additional 10% to 15%.

3. Butterfly Shadow: Each time you hit a target, you accumulate one mark. After accumulating 6 marks, you can unleash a butterfly shadow.

Rating: 1 star.

Each of the three swords has its own advantages and disadvantages, but for Lin Yu, effects that increase damage, such as Bleeding and Butterfly Shadow, are not very helpful.

Once you've sustained a real injury, who cares about a minor one?

In comparison, the immobilization effect of petrification might be more suitable for me.

Lin Yu finally made his choice—the Blue Stone Sword.
